      Do Not do business with Scooters 4 Rent. We thought we were purchasing a scooter from Les in September 2023. It was supposedly ordered and would arrive in 2 weeks. After lie after lie we still do not have it in February 2024. Now we are in a fight to get our money back and the lies continue. We are now at the point of filing a law suit. This place has no business being business.

      The owner of the facility Scooters 4 Rent in Selbyville, Delaware, Leslie sold a portable power wheelchair to my parents for my dad to use in August, 2023. In September, 2023 my dad passed away and only drove the w/c once inside the house. In October, 2023, Leslie offered to have a lady trial it to see if she wanted to buy it. We have repeatedly tried to get the money from Leslie or have him return the wheelchair. He continues to lie and say that he will bring by a check or return the wheelchair. It is now almost Christmas, 2023. Do not do business with this company, they are dishonest and untrustworthy.

      I would not trust this company to rent any equipment. Immediately charged my credit card on 4/20/23 for renting a Hoyer Lift for June 10. The equipment would not fit under the boxed bed so therefore Gayle said I should have had a handicap room which all the beds were boxed including handicap. I told her I would pay for delivery $50. but would like a refund of the balance of $150. Her son told me they were more than generous giving me $100. Very rude and unprofessional. I have not seen a refund and no call backs from Gayle or her son.

      What a great company. From setting up the reservation and answering any questions and concerns we had, to the delivery, extending a day and the pick up. This was the friendliest encounter we had for our vacation, and the one thing that went the smoothest. I would recommend using Scooters-4-Rent for your handicap equipment needs. It's hard to find such friendly people so easy to work with.
