This company will take an order but will not return anything even if the box isn't opened. No returns or exchanges. Horrible customer service and not helpful at all.

My wife and I visited the Everett showroom to look for blinds for our skylights on June 23. I had rough estimate for the skylight size and the saleswoman Gloria gave us a cost based on this rough estimate. Gl;oria also asked whether the skylight was high and I indicated that it was about 15 feet. She said that the installation may need the use of a high ladder and that she would include the cost of the ‘high-ladder installation’ in the estimate. We agreed to the price and asked BlindsToGo to proceed to take precise in-house measurements for the installation.

The in-house measurement was done on June 26 after which BlindsToGo store manager Anne increased the cost by 20% indicating that (1) the skylight was 10% bigger than the rough estimate that I had provided to Gloria and (2) they needed the high-ladder for installation. I protested to Anne saying that Gloria had already included the cost of the high-ladder installation in the cost estimate. At this point I would have liked to cancel the order but Anne said they would take $50 of my deposit for performing the in-house measurement.

I believe the BlindsToGo misled (‘low-balled’) us - they quoted a low price to get our deposit. Specifically, (1) the saleswoman Gloria did not warn us that the prices would increase if the rough skylight size estimate that I provided was not accurate, and (2) the manager Anne did not honor the saleswoman Gloria's price quote that included the cost of the high-ladder installation. When I asked to speak to a higher authority at the store, that person was ‘busy in a meeting’. Furthermore, Anne did not have the time to check with Gloria to verify my account of what transpired prior to my deposit payment. Surely, there must be a more ethical way of doing business.

I complained via yelp and some online services. It seems like someone from the company generates automated responses saying they will look into the issue, but no follow up happens.

Buyer beware! They delay install constantly. Once our installer arrived there were 3 valances missing, one curtain rod and 1 shade. Customer service is non responsive and the sales person Tina stopped responding once they got paid which is required paid in full prior to installation. A few weeks following installation as I went to lower our family room blind, which is the largest one covering a sliding door, the valance came crashing down on my face, hitting my eye and bruising it. In the process of falling, it also tore straight across the entire blind, it appears it was never affixed to the hardware. We have pictures to prove that and there’s been no customer service response. I have a blackeye broken blinds and no customer service. I am completely appalled. I have never ever experienced such a bad company please pay a little extra get the quality you deserve. I have used three day blinds before they were a little pricey, so I hesitated this time thinking that this was a good deal , never again the extra cost was worth the customer service and quality of the product. At this point they should be giving us our money back.

    Totally Disappointed!

I had one of their blind experts come out to give me a quote. I continue with the purchase. The expert gave me her expert opinion on the blind color that best matched my existing blinds. On Oct 24, 2022, the day of installation, I noticed the color was 2-3 shades darker then the swatch presented at selection. When I called the expert, she stated that she wound have the regional person to contact me, which she did. I purchased 4 blinds and paid over $2,000. Now I’m being told that I would have to pay 50% of the purchase price to have the color corrected. I relied on this company’s expert for her opinion and now I’m being penalized. I was only told that once my order went to production I wound not be able to cancel. Not a word mentioned about exchanges or corrections. Buyers Beware!
