    I just had a really good experience with Best Egg. I applied for a personal loan and it was approved and paid in three days.

    They lie about rates and terms. They told me that the loan was processed and to wait for the money to go into an account. Then, they told me to call them and begin the process over, effectively denying me after a soft approval. Instead of working with me they would rather sell a new pack of lies. They are broken at best and deceptive at worst.

    When adding additional payments there is no way to apply full amount to principle, I called and tried to have my additional payments applied to principal where I was told there was no way to do that - a practice reputable companies do. I was told in order to have an additional pay go towards my principle I must wait until my due date to make payment to apply to principle. This is listed no where on website and no disclosed. I requested to speak with a supervisor and was denied.

    The professionalism of this business is really disappointing and infuriating. There's nothing like being told one thing multiple times by multiple customer service agents, getting emails & even texts that confirms everything is OK, then none of it being accurate & not only do you not have a rental payment agreement anymore, but the lack of communication & notification cost you a $70 late fee on top of leaving you to figure out how you're going to now pay a full rent payment when you were only expecting to have to pay half - it's extremely . The company takes no responsibility, h
    offers no valid reasoning behind the outcome, & essentially leaves you with, "Sorry we you, & we don't wish you luck, but thanks for your business, feel free to come back & do business with us again if we let you!" Absolutely disgusting handling. I do not recommend AT ALL. They're great at first & can be helpful, but God forbid you run into any issue or there's a technical issue or any problem, their fault or yours; even if you've been a perfect customer for years with no problems, the moment you run into one, they deactivate your account, don't give you any notice, the website even still says when your next payment is due, & you'll get the regular text/email reminders, but then when it's time for payment & you can't make one, you're left trying to get ahold of their customer service, which is rude, not very knowledgeable, & unwilling to resolve anything at all. They just drop you, & even if they cause you a fee, they take no responsibility & will just start ignoring you. I warn anyone that uses them & runs into an issue: go ahead & expect not to be their customer anymore, them not to help in any way, & for them to terminate your account without notice or valid reason. Basically, be prepared to go back to paying your rental company right then, even if they say that's not necessary & everything is OK - they won't fix anything, they'll blame you, then disappear after. 0/10 rating

    I’m in a financial burden. I called and spoke to Ms Nova a manager/supervisor, about my situation. I’ve been on time with auto pay payments since 08/24.it will be a year next month that I’ve had the loan. I was requesting a settlement to pay off the loan. They check your credit score to see if you are in financial distress and if your score reflects your ok, then there are no settlements. I requested to take the auto pay off and she asked me why. Because I one asked, and two of my financial strain. Then she offered to make my payments weekly and smaller. That is not a relief to have to worry about paying them weekly since I do not have an income. I’m still current with out an income from my family’s assistance. But I do not want to keep borrowing money for 26.9% loan. I wanted to pay off the loan for $1800, the balance is $2700. Ms Nova had no negotiations to offer. I called on my own requesting help. The only thing she helped with was taking the auto pay off. Or the other options were to skip one month or two months of payments, which would be added to the end of the loan. I did not expect after a year of paying the loan back for my financial situation to turn upside down as it did, but I did want some understanding on being a good customer for 11 months. I had to give one star. But they get zero stars.

    It's unfortunate that due to lack of humans I am having to report Best Egg to the BBB.My apartment offers flex rent via Best Egg. I signed up on July 1st and was approved. I received written confirmation from Best Egg that my rent would be paid on the 1st. By the 2nd, it was not paid so I called Best Egg customer service. I was on hold for 21 minutes. On the 3rd my rent was still not paid so I called on the 3rd and was on hold for 35 minutes. I emailed them my concerns and questions and within seconds I received a BOT response. I tried emailing again with my responses to the bots answers to my original questions and received the same BOT responses. In the meantime, my rent has still not been paid by Best Egg. As stressfull as that is, I am even more upset at the lack of human customer service. This is not only my first but my last time I will ever use Best Egg, I will NOT recommend them to others.

    They have an option to pause your rent payments if you pay it directly to the rental company. They will then put your account into a deactivation period after one month of no usage. Customer service refuses to help you and management will not take a phone call because they are scared of confrontation. Now that my account was cancelled for paying my rental company directly only once its putting unnecessary stress on my family.
