      I started using Byte aligners and had difficulty with the aligners during my treatment. I reported this and was eventually told I'd need to restart services. I asked when and no one has communicated that with me until today. I talked to several representatives and couldn't get any info until today. Now they're asking for more money! I also received an urgent notice from the company that my dentist says was their legal notice advising that there may be issues with treatment because they offer no in person evaluations. I don't want to proceed with this company but they refuse to give me my money back. I have to restart services all over again.

      In or about 2020 I ordered a pair of invisible aligners from byte in order to align my teeth. After researching different companies I decided to go with byte because they were the only company I could fine that offered a lifetime guarantee. This guarantee assured me that I could restart my treatment at any time in the future should my teeth ever begin to shift. In January/February I reached out to the company to restart my treatment but they informed me that their production had been on hold for some type of legal issues. I reached out again last week to get an update and see if I could restart my treatment. After providing information and photographic proof of my teeth needing a new set of aligners they told me that I they couldn’t process my request as I was no longer eligible. I reminded them about their lifetime guarantee, which was the only reason I chose their company but they told me that there was nothing they could do. They completely disregarded any and all promises that they gave me when choosing their company. Now I am out thousands of dollars and my teeth are still in need of treatment.

      I am filing a formal complaint against Byte due to their failure to complete my aligner treatment as promised and their refusal to issue a refund.

      I began my treatment with Byte in 2020 and have since undergone two refinements due to alignment issues. Despite my patience and cooperation, my treatment has remained incomplete for over four years. Most recently, my progress has been further disrupted by Byte’s suspension of operations, leaving me without a path to complete the treatment I paid for in full.

      Given these circumstances, I find Byte’s refusal to refund my payment of $2,095.00 to be unjust and unacceptable. Their failure to deliver on their commitments violates reasonable consumer expectations and raises concerns about their business practices.

      Additionally, Byte has demonstrated poor customer service throughout my treatment. Communication delays, unfulfilled promises, and a lack of transparency have significantly impacted my ability to receive the care I was led to believe I would get. Many other consumers have reported similar experiences with Byte, further demonstrating a pattern of unfulfilled obligations and denied refunds.

      I am requesting that Byte issue a full refund of $2,095.00 as a fair and reasonable resolution to this matter. If Byte is unwilling to provide a refund, I request that the BBB investigate their business practices and help facilitate a resolution.

      I ordered a teeth aligner plan on July 18, 2024, which was paid for. I never received the aligners, nor a refund. I've been trying to get assistance thru online chat, with no success. And as of October 24, 2024 , the website gives a message stating that they are no longer taking new orders.

      On 6/04/24 I purchased the Byte Aligners with no requirement of going to a dentist office. I paid $1,695.00 for the treatment plan plus $18 for an impression kit. I had to stop using them recently due to discomfort with my jaw and my dentist advising me to stop using them. It has also came to light that they are pausing purchases and current orders. I reached out to request a refund and was met with a need to sign documents set out prior to my request. I am very upset that the customers immediate needs are not being taken seriously and finding a way to contact the company is overall very hard.

      Byte sold me a Protection Plan for 5 years of Byte aligners on October 13th.
      On October 31st, Byte shut down and discontinued all sales. I did not receive my Byte replacement aligners as promised, and they are refusing to refund me $849 that I paid to receive Byte replacement aligners.
      They will not respond to emails and their phones are turned off. We received NO replacement aligners as promised after paying $849!

      Additionally, I paid $1,999 on February 21st, for Byte treatment and they did not fulfill that order correctly either. This have left me out thousands of dollars and I can’t get ahold of anyone at Byte. They promised to continue treatment after the first set was complete. We never received the second round of aligners to complete treatment.

      I would like a refund for the entire $849, and a price adjustment for the $1999.
