This company does not deserve business and do not be deceived by their enticing words of encouragement to use their service. There are other good companies that can provide you with quality service. They will put you on a great deal of problems finding for a car transport driver and when the driver cancels the pick up date that is where the problem arises. They will exhaust all means for you not to get refunded even it is not your fault.

Customer service is shady and do not be deceived by their warm hi and hellos. This is based on my first hand experience with this company. They just need your money and once they get it, your on your own.

Lesson learned. Use reliable well known companies for your car transport services and do a lot of research and read reviews and beware of red flags. Do not get intimidated just because the company is well known that they maybe expensive. It is actually the other way around. They can give you more incentives and good deals because they build up their company and they do not want bad reviews.

Do not trust this company, especially if they give you a quote significantly lower than competitors. It’s a classic bait-and-switch scam.

I was quoted $925 to ship my vehicle from Atlanta to Los Angeles. Later, they claimed they had found a driver but asked me to sign a contract for $1,500. When I asked why the contract showed a higher amount than my original quote, Jessica assured me it was just a “formal agreement” with the driver and that the final cost would still be $925.

That turned out to be completely false. Upon delivery, I was forced to pay $1,500, because that’s what I had signed — despite being promised otherwise. Jessica’s verbal assurance meant nothing.

Yes, I made the mistake of trusting them and not getting the lower quote in writing on the contract. That was my lesson — but I’m posting this so others can avoid becoming victims of the same tactic.

Another reviewer posted on 5/15/2025 with the exact same experience. This is not a one-off — it’s how they operate.

?? Even if another broker charges a bit more, go with someone reputable.
?? Avoid Pride Shipping Broker in Wilmington, DE at all costs.

Please spread the word — this kind of dishonest business practice needs to stop.

They were pleasant enough to deal with. My issue lies in the fact that I ended up paying about $200 more than I was initially quoted.

I am well aware that they do not have control over what drivers are willing to accept, however the entire reason I went with them, is they quoted lower than most companies, and seemed fairly reputable.

I am giving one star, solely because it seems they are doing a poor job at accurately pricing things. Everything else went fine

Shady. Bait and switch. Used car sales tactics.

Pride Car Shipping Inc. did what they said they would do, and I got my car in a few days.

However, they unethically squeezed more money out of me.

My experience is just like the other negative reviews of Pride. I’m guessing Pride has a playbook of phony price changes. My signed contract was for $800. 3 days later they told me things had changed and the driver wanted $1700. The broker explains to me “I only get $40 commission, but I’m fighting to get you a lower price and I just told my manager to talk to the driver” then they came back with $1050, “Will you take that?” At this point I figured it was a bait and switch, I also knew that $800 was on the low side of bids. So I figured it was worth giving them a little more. I texted back “I’ll do it for $950 or I will cancel the contract.” There was an IMMEDIATE response. “Yes. I’ll send you a new contract.” — So it’s clear there was no price issue on their end, there was no issue with the driver, I bet they hadn’t even contacted a delivery company yet. They just wanted to get more money out of me.
And the entire time “Jessica Miller” was constantly pushing me to hurry up and sign, with multiple texts. “Did you get it? You need to sign it right away. I just sent it. Click on this link. You could lose this price.”
Meanwhile right after she claimed the driver wanted $1700, I started getting LOTS of texts from “competitors” saying, “I see your car has not been picked up. We have the only available driver, and he will do it for $1700, or He will do it for $1900, or He will do it for $2400.” - How did they know my car had not been picked up? How could they ALL have access to the ONLY available driver? Jessica texted me, “if you get other people trying to steal you, ignore them” she knew exactly what was happening.
It was a total set up.
I guess I’m lucky I didn’t get completely fleeced. AVOID PRIDE AND if any Co. uses these tactics cancel the agreement.

Pride Car Shipping is a broker. They try to squeeze every penny out of you. They give you a low initial quote ($600), which you sign a contract for, You speak with Jennifer, who in the beginning has a filipino accent, but when things go awry, suddenly Jennifer has a Russian accent.
Jennifer calls to inform you that there has been some issue with the driver and that he is asking for more money per mile or some BS and they need to find another driver. The new driver is more expensive so they ask for another $300 (50%)! In my case, I stood firm and said that I would not accept the new rate and they need to honor their contract. They asked what is the most I would pay and I said $600, so they said that would get back to me.
This is when new phone calls from “other brokers” start coming in, all with Russian accents, with extremely high quotes, like $1800, meant to anchor you to think that the going rate is much higher and the $1200 new charge is actually a deal.
Then Jennifer calls again and said that she spoke with her manager and he authorized a discount, they would cover $200 of the increase, so the new price is only $700. Out of frustration, I accepted. Only then did they start to secure a driver. They say that the first driver had a mechanical issue so they would be sending me the new drivers information. When the driver actually arrived, I spoke with him and he said he just received the order 30 minutes before. I explained my experience sans he said he’s only getting $500. Coincidentally, my payment instructions said that $200 would be charged to my card and the remaining $500 would be given directly to the driver (Cash or Venmo/Zelle).
Overall, these vultures ante trying to squeeze you for every penny and employ scam tactics to do so, exploiting your time sensitivity and high stress situation when relocating. Avoid at all costs! Also, the “”5-Star” reviews here are blatantly fake.

Selena was a pleasure to work with! Wonderful to communicate with, great rates and we didn’t have to ask or wait for payment. I 100% recommend this company and I am excited to work with them again in the future! Thank you!

I had a terrible experience with this company. Julia initially quoted me $900 and assured me there would be a driver available at my requested time. However, at the very last minute, I was informed that no driver was available and that the cost had increased to $2,150. This company has zero regard for your time or schedule.

If you've had a similar experience, let’s unite to expose and hold them accountable. Businesses like this shouldn’t continue operating.

I know Julia was honest, available, and tried hard. She always let me know what was going on. If all moving/transport companies afforded the treatment offered by Pride, moving would improve ten-fold.
