    Beware of Delaware Periodontics. The office has not sent me the funds they received from my insurance company. I pay for all services in full at the time of service. They have acknowledged receipt of a check from my insurance in July and keep stating that they will send it to me. Now it is September. Kind requests for these funds have generated nothing. The office now states that it is in the hands of their accountant. This is unacceptable.

    we kept the refund on her account as she had an appointment scheduled for october of 2023. The amount of the apointment was roughly double what the refund amount was. This is standard operating procedure in the industry. When she called to cancel her appointment today, we issued her a refund immediately. She has been contacted that we have her check here for her or we could mail it to her THis complaint is unfounded and frankley is defamation of character and of the business and is grounds for legal action taken against her. I am willing to not pursue legal action for defamation if she removes her complaint.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my  issue.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The response from this provider is not true, I include the text from their office in July stating that they had the check and would be sending it to me. This has nothing to do with my October appointment as I pay in full. The reimbursement is from an appointment on 1/9/23 that the office received full payment for from me before the date of service.

    The credit was from january. That is correct. Patient had an appoitment scheduled im october that was more than the credit. It is normal practice to hold the credit and resuce amount owed for the appointment. The credit also acts like a room deposit which is required for appointments in my office. When patient cancelled appointment, credit check was printed. We offered her to pick up the check but she refused so it was mailed. This matter is now closed.
