I have been a patient of Delaware Perodontics for maybe 20 years ,or more . On February 27th , 2024 I had an appointment at 12 noon for my routine cleaning . Because their co pay is rather high I usually pay half and the rest within two weeks ,They have never came after me for payment ,I always pay my bills . On the day in question ,I was not allowed to pay half ,full payment had to be made upfront . Personally I believe this was a set up because who schedules appointment at 12 noon ? I am a senior person on a fixed income ,and on a budget . Anyway ,I walked out ,never to return . I was told that Dr.Klassman approved of this practice . Shame on you Dr.Klassman !!!! I have been a patient for a very long time ,and to be treated this way shows your true character .

Because so many patients take advantage of our flexibility and do not pay their bills we were forced to change our policies. Just like if you had to buy new rugs, they must be paid in advance or they don't install. I am sorry that you were offended but that is how we must run our businesses in 2024. We cannot work and not get paid for our services.
