All correspondence was via email. Based on the speed and formatting of the responses, I believe they were generated by an AI. "Oh, so sorry" and "We understand your concerns" were consistent themes. The relentless requests for payment and the limited methods seemed very fishy. The $699 fee for two international book fairs seemed incredibly underpriced. The response was that they had booths and could offer a discount. Frankfurt was one option that was pushed, probably the largest book fair on the planet. CL would feature my book in their booth, a real ego enhancer. Oddly, there was no listing of Christian Life Publishing as an exhibitor in Frankfurt 2024. They lost ALL credibility after that.

One star because - 0 was not available. I read the reviews and told Hazel no thank you. After sharing their understanding of Christianity is neither Christian nor helpful. Which is sad because as a new author I am excited about my book and want to share it with others.

It is eerie how similar my story is to the ones before it. I too was contacted via email by a "representative" of Christian Life Publishing about showcasing my book at the Frankfurt bookfair which is the largest bookfair worldwide for 700 dollars in total. I spoke with several employees by phone and email and after sending them a last payment of 349 dollars, they became completely unreachable. I researched the employees I spoke too and some I didn't along with both addresses I could find only to discover their main address whoch is listed at the bottom of the page is a P.O. box and the other address is a random business. If they truly were Christians like the name of their fake company suggests, they'd know what the good book says about thieves and liars and be smart enough to take heed. I am taking steps to make sure they are unable to do this to anyone else and pray that I am their last victim. May the pain they inflicted on others come back to them tenfold and I pray that what they meant for evil on us all will turn to good.

They offered to take my book to an overseas book fair. Stated I would be the only author in a category. I don't believe it. So glad to read other reviews to avoid getting scammed.

As with the last reviewer, 0 stars didn't fit, and the case is almost identical: CLP offered to present my book at the Frankfurt Book Fair, collected the money and then unfortunately disappeared.
    My case.
I was delighted when CLP contacted me about my book and asked if I would like to present it at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2024. I was delighted to be offered an exhibition catalogue and an e-book presentation. A contract was made for an online signing session and a fee of 699 USD was requested. I gladly signed and paid! And then, oh wonder of wonders, Christian Life Publishing wasn't even at the Frankfurt Book Fair! They weren't registered with their own stand or a joint stand (as is often the case with small publishers): I checked this out myself and asked the local fair managers to do a research for me. And unfortunately CLP didn't present my e-book anywhere either.
I tried for weeks to contact the publisher by email and phone, even during the fair, but got no response.
In total, I've received emails from Hazel Lopez, ******* ******** ***** ****** ****** **** ******** *** ****** *., and I wonder if this team really exists. Also, I wonder if the (allegedly) evangelical publisher violated the seventh, eighth and tenth commandments.
A lawyer will certainly not help me with the latter questions, but I hope he will help me with the whole case. After all, what I'm dealing with here is probably quite simply fraud.

Again, like the last reviewer, 0 stars wasn't an option. This is actually difficult for me to say because we are so upset and hurt. This is not a real company. As a father, I should have vetted them more carefully. My daughter (26 yrs) has been living in Panama as a Christian missionary. She had a book published through a different company and we are all so proud and excited. "Christian Life Publishing" marketing director "Hazel Lopez" contacted her and said they were impressed with her work and would like to promote it at the Frankfurt Germany bookfair (Huge and we were already aware of it). After connecting with 'Hazel' on the phone and being satisfied with the answers and details we needed, my daughter scratched together $700 USD for the promotional package. Within a few months, they did send her a "press kit" to review which looked good. We proceeded to book her a flight from Panama to Germany for the fair in October. My wife and other daughter (Canada) with excitement, booked 2 more flights for themselves and also flew to Germany for the fair. Can you imagine the confusion and disappointment when they first arrived at the fair and couldn't find her work, Hazel or any of the Christian Life Publishing team. Furthermore, they were stunned to look at the registry and realize that Christian Life is not even on the list. We have called and emailed for a week straight now and they're just gone. Gone with my beautiful daughters money and a piece of our broken hearts too. Upon deeper review, I can now see that the "author testimonials" on their website do not match a single author on their "author page". Furthermore, a google search for the book titles published for these authors leaving raving reviews shows nothing. The books don't exist. I hope I can save one of you from this experience. This company does not exist. Don't convince yourself otherwise. Move on as quickly as you can and pray that they encounter the God that they mock.

I only left one star because zero wasn’t an option. I was contacted by this company in Nov 2023. They wanted to help promote my book that had recently been published. They were new, and asked me to give them an opportunity to help market my book at the London book fair in March 2024. I’m sorry I did. I am yet to see value for the $640 spent. I have no evidence that they even attended or promoted the book. They never sent a picture or any of the reports promised. Over 5 months later and no one has followed up with me, even after I reached out Communication has been horrible from the start. They should not be in business. My experience was in line with their ‘F’ rating

I had an incredible experience with Christian Life Publishing. Their team was professional, responsive, and deeply committed to helping me bring my book to life. From the initial consultation to the final publication, every step was handled with care and expertise. The editors provided invaluable feedback, ensuring that my manuscript was polished and ready for readers. The design team created a beautiful cover that perfectly captured the essence of my book. I was also impressed with their marketing support, which helped my book reach a wider audience. Overall, I highly recommend Christian Life Publishing for anyone looking to publish their work with a team that truly cares about authors and their stories
