  Kevin is a wonderful person. Very patient, made the punch list, found out what was needed and acted on it. The company that installed the roof was inexperienced and not certified. The owner of the company was on the roof but there was plenty of missed shingles. How could you miss the shed? How can you not put on the roof caps?

  Siding looks beautiful and everything was installed in 2 days. Communication was excellent. This was an awesome experience.

  Never never buy from these thieves! We bought 8 windows to be replaced on the 12th of March 2025. The 17th of May they came to install. They didn't replace our windows. They inserted smaller windows into the old window frames(less light in the house). So now we have old cracked visible window frames. Silicone seals were not replaced.
  And the double hung windows can only open a third of the height, not half way up.

  Homestar Remodeling recently installed our new windows and overall did a good job.
  
  They had a door to door salesman initially set up the free consult. We initially didnt decide to move forward after meeting with the first salesman, but they had a quality control gentleman come out and give us some additional options. They took a down payment up front and said 4-6 weeks for the windows to arrive. They had one other gentleman come out to confirm measurements about a week or two later. After that we didn’t hear anything and at about 8 weeks we decided to call. The representative responded that they’d just gotten the windows yesterday. I would’ve written a lower rating for the lack of communication during that timeframe, but the installation team did do a good job and communication after scheduling the installation was good.
  
  The installation team worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. They were in and out in under 5 hours. There were a couple lingering pieces of foam when they left and my neighbor mentioned a shard of metal in the parking lot behind their cleanup truck.
  
  Overall I would recommend them. My only suggestions would be send a simple communication every couple weeks after the down payment if the company is still waiting on window arrival so that customers don’t feel they’ve been forgotten.

  The install crew was wonderful, and the sales presentation was engaging and convincing. However, I am beyond frustrated with the administration and overall customer service at HomeStar Remodeling. They don't require payment until the job is done, but I was told they couldn't address concerns with the project until it was paid. So I paid in full, more than $50k, before the job was done, and it has remained unfinished since January. I've left several messages and posted on their chatbot, and no one has returned my calls. Meanwhile, my front door is untrimmed, the drywall beneath the bow window is damaged, along with other items that Graham documented would be taken care of, remain unaddressed. I just want Homestar to live up to its promises.

  Homestar did an exceptional job putting in new windows and sliding door for me. I am very happy with their work. They made sure to clean up after themselves after completing the work. The only issue I had was that they did not put my dust pan and broom back in my house after sweeping off my deck. I didn’t realize that it was left outside until days later, by that time I had bought a new dust pan and broom. Also, I notice there was some glue or something stuck to my HVAC fan. The glue might have fell from above when the workers were working on the top floor windows. I would recommend to covering the HVAC system before working on the windows. We highly recommend them to everyone! Thank you Homestar!

  HomeStar remodeling really has some professional people I had new siding put on my house Mike was the coordinator in his crew did to work what an excellent job very very pleased with it they cleaned up after their self and it only took them 2 days to do the work taking the old siding off and putting all new stuff back on around the windows and everything very professional

  While my husband was out cutting grass yesterday a salesman (Drake) walked up to discuss setting up an appt. for a new roof quote. Since my husband has memory issues I walked out to listen in. The rep was a real fast talker--maybe some might think he is just friendly but his style was a turn off. My husband had agreed to see someone later that evening, and Drake said we would get a call we had to pick up--to confirm the appt. A little later after hubby and I discussed it further I looked up the main phone number and left a message that we changed our minds and did NOT want to keep the appt. since we were not planning to replace the roof at this time. I left our name, street, sales rep name, and appt. time and said CANCEL.
  
  Later that afternoon we received a call CONFIRMING the appt. and I explained I left a cancel call on another number and went thru it again. The gal said the quote would be good for a year (trying to get us to keep the appt.) but I said no, CANCEL it. I then blocked that number.
  
  This evening we get a call from the salesman Drake and I again explain I cancelled the appt. He then says he spoke with my husband this morning and agreed on an appt. My husband told me he remembered no such conversation. I tell the sales rep my husband has some memory issues--but he does not remember having such a conversation. Drake is pushy and tries again, and says IF we are in the market down the road to contact them. I tell him please do not call us again and blocked that number.
  
  I will NEVER deal with this company.

  I just got new patio doors installed on 4/8/25. The sales person that came to my home for the initial visit was absolutely amazing. He provided great information, answered all my questions, and didn’t pressure me to purchase. Scheduling and installation were seamless. The installation team cleaned well. Other than the beautiful new doors you could not tell they had even been in my home doing any work. It was a great experience all around.
