I purchased a portable oxygen concentrator and a 5 liter concentrator for my home from this company with the agreement that I had to pay up front for it and they would put a claim in to ********* since they didn;t accept assignment from ********* ******** would reimburse me for what they allowed. Well, everything went fine up until May of this year. They have never filed a claim for **** June or July. They did not notified anyone of this, I called them and spoke to a lady in billing and she said claims would be submitted right away but they were not I called again in June and was told they were waiting on ********. I called ******** and they had no information from Care Airways. This is a terrible way to do business, I need those payments, and I'm sure there are others in the same situation. Please help me.

I am 75 years old and I have an unexplained low pulse ox even down into the 70's upon any exertion (normal 97-99% saturation), which causes severe shortness of breath. You should also know I have had a liver transplant in 2017 for *******, a 4 vessel bypass in 2021, I'm an insulin dependent Diabetic, and I have kidney failure and I am close to going on dialysis. I purchased a new Zen-O lite portable oxygen concentrator in August of 2022 from Care Airways so it is about 7 months old and has a 3 year warranty. I was on a cruise in Jan. and it stopped working. I reported it to the company right away. When I got home from the trip, I sent the unit to the factory for repair. Care Airways charged me $90 for postage to send it back and forth to the factory in *********. It reached the factory on Feb. 21. I called and spoke to ***** today to see what was happening with it. I don't think it has even been looked at yet. I was told it would take two to four months to repair it and get it back to me. I also asked about a possible loaner and I was told I could get one if I paid $395. I'm already upset about being charged $90 for postage when it broke under warranty. I feel I shouldn't have to pay for a loaner, and I don't feel a 2 to 4 month repair time is reasonable. Is there anything you can do to speed up my turnaround time or get me a free loaner? The staff in ********** have been helpful and courteous. I just have a problem with the repair time.
