I give ********** to this company, but it would not allow that! They did NOTHING but give us the round around. I literally had to call them 27 times, and our AC was out for 8 DAYS!!! They then denied the claim blaming it on maintenance when we had a leak. I would NOT recommend them to anyone! All my **************** left them too for poor service.

The deny all claims, charge extra to just open a claim. This company is obviously a scam. They transfer you multiple times to frustrate the customer. Depending on who answers the phone, some people will tell you the claim is covered but eventually you will get an email stating it was denied.

ARW sent a vendor to diagnose my broken AC unit, and they claimed the issue was a failed compressor and coilconveniently parts they said arent covered. I was suspicious, so I hired two independent **** companies to assess it. Both confirmed that the issue was not what the warranty companys vendor ********** seems clear the company is using inaccurate diagnoses from their vendors to avoid paying for repairs. I believe this is deceptive and done in bad faith.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We understand how important it is to trust the repair process and the information provided.

In this case, your service provider did not identify any issues with the coils but did report that the compressor had failed with a path to ground. Unfortunately, this component was not covered under your service plan.

After a thorough review and in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of your plan, the claim was denied accordingly.

I had a great experience with ARW. My AC went out and they paid for a third of the replacement expense for both the heating and cooling, and the contractor was local and very professional and nice.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This company is a perfect example of why people are hesitant to trust home warranties. The coverage appears solid on paperplumbing, ductwork, etc.but what they dont tell you is that they refuse to do any work if those systems are in a crawl space. Last I checked, most homes have their plumbing and ductwork in the crawl space. So what exactly are we paying for?Even worse, this critical exclusion is nowhere to be found in the brochures or during the shopping process. It only gets mentioned after the warranty is purchased and a claim is submittedconvenient, right? When I reached out to get clarification, I was met with one of the rudest and most unhelpful executives Ive ever spoken to. The ** was dismissive, condescending, and completely unwilling to take accountability or offer any solution. The attitude from the top says a lot about how this company views its customers. On top of it all, their prices and trade call fees have gone up, while the level of service has plummeted. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. There are better options out there that are transparent, honest, and actually care about their customers.

At ARW Home, we strive to be transparent about our coverage and policies. All customers are provided with a ****** free trial period specifically to review the terms of their plan in detail. I have had American Residential warranty for seven years rarely did I have to file a complaint until now.I needed to deal with my inoperable hot water tank, which was electric so I called for a quote to change it to Gas not using the warranty system. Meanwhile, theyre denying the claim to the repair of the electric hot water tank because I got a quote from someone else which had nothing to do with the existing Hot water tank and theyre not listening or doing anything about it. Theyre just denying the claim Needs to say Im switching warranty companies

    Thank you for your feedback.

At American Residential Warranty, we strive to ensure all customers receive fair and consistent service. As part of that commitment, all customer service calls are recorded. After a thorough review of your call, the denial of your claim was based on the terms of your service plan, which require customers to notify us prior to having a technician diagnose or perform any work. Unfortunately, in this case, that step was not followed.

We understand this is not the outcome you were hoping for, and we truly regret any frustration this has caused. However, we must adhere to the terms of the plan to ensure fairness and consistency for all of our customers.

If you have any additional questions or would like to discuss this further, were here to help.

Review of ARW Home (American Residential Warranty) Relentless, Unethical, and Harassing Since October 2024, ARW Home (American Residential Warranty) has repeatedly harassed me and my in-laws with unwanted mailers for their home warranty service. Despite living on the same property but with two separate addresses, we both receive these solicitations monthly.I have called their number every single month to request removal from their mailing list. Each time, Im met with disrespect and indifference, but the most appalling interaction has consistently been with a representative named *****. He is, without exaggeration, a special kind of awfulmaking disparaging remarks toward me simply because I asked for the mailers to stop. His conduct is unprofessional, degrading, and totally unacceptable. What makes this worse is that Ive also contacted their main offices several times, and yet nothing has changed. Its clear ARW Home does not care about consumer consent, and their behavior borders on harassment. If this is how they treat people who arent even customers, I can only imagine the nightmare it would be to actually need service from them.Avoid ARW Home at all costs. Their practices are invasive, their staff disrespectful, and their company ethics questionable.

    Date: 06/02/2025

We take all concerns seriously and are committed to respectful and ethical communication.

After reviewing our records, we can confirm that ARW Home has not employed anyone named ***** in over five years. Based on the details provided, its likely this review may have been intended for a different company with a similar name.

At ARW, we take all requests to be removed from our mailing list very seriously and honor them immediately. If you believe youve received mail from us in error, wed appreciate the opportunity to investigate and ensure your information is removed.

Please contact our customer service team at ************** so we can assist you directly.

Were sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate your long-time loyalty. Your ************ coil and air handler are still under manufacturer warranty, which means ARW is not authorized to supply those parts. Our technician did attempt to obtain the part directly from the manufacturer, but it is no longer produced. While the part may be available elsewhere, ARW cannot procure it due to warranty terms. We offered a $900 buyout to assist with the repair, and were happy to help you through that process. Please reach out if you need further support.
