    I spoke with a sales person who actually told me I should go to this website to check out a competitor company because that competitor company had poor ratings. And in doing so, I see that her own company that she works for has awful ratings also. She promised that they are the ONLY *** backed up company and that they have partnerships with GE and LOWES which helps reduce costs due to their discounts. She really had a strong sales pitch, except didn't realize how poor the customer service is (which isn't even her job since she role is to make a sale, not to deliver the customer service). Are there any honest companies out there? I swear I am losing faith in humanity. I recently had a horrible experience with POD and Two Men and a Truck also.

    I called ARW for an air conditioner claim on a hot night. They could not get anyone out to my home for maybe a day or two (LOL). I had to call someone myself and it cost $300. I had to get a refund for the service call they charged me then I decided to cancel my contract that I paid in full due to poor customer service. Well I had to wait till the next month before they would cancel (they do not prorate within the month). So August 14th it should have been cancelled and refund would take **** days to receive. Well no refund...I called was on hold for 40 minutes..so I decided to write this review. DO NOT purchase from this company...I wish I would have looked at the reviews before I did. I am out of $549 if I am lucky I will get a refund of $320. This company is a joke...you cannot get anyone on the phone so good luck if you have an emergency. ARW if you are reading this please give me my refund. Word of mouth goes a long way!!!

    I submitted an inquiry to get prices from American Residential Warranty. After reviewing the prices and deciding not to proceed with purchasing a warranty (to continue to compare), I received ***** calls from the company. I declined about a half dozen of them, and then they left a voicemail. I continued to receive calls during the workday, and then again the following day another **** calls. I finally answered and asked to be removed from their call list. About four hours later I received yet another call, and this time I spoke with a manager to provide feedback about this outrageous calling pattern.

    I been a American Residential Warranty consumer for many years when my washer machine need fixing I call them, they sent *********** to do the repairs. When the tech came out he had to removed the bifold doors to the washroom to get into fix the washer. He moved the dryer also when he got finish he had to move the dryer back into place while doing that he damage the control panel on it he said it was alright and he did not put the doors back like they were he said that the best he could do I was not please with his work. Vehtech person reach out said they had done all they going to do. Now it fall back on American Residential I paid to get estimates to fix the dryer and doors MONEY I have lost now they refuse to reimburse me. This warranty company is not a good company to pay your money to each month for cover.

    If I could give this company negative zero stars it would be too much. This is the worst company I've ever encountered. The only thing they are good at is monopolizing your time by regurgitating the lies they've been trained to expel. If you ever needed a company that excels in placing you on hold, passing you along to the next rep just to be hung up on or passed along, or perhaps you're into being fed one line of c*** after another just to be told in the end "we are expediting this" and it goes into the eternal basket linked to the black hole....then you've found your perfect home warranty "protection"! What a joke. I have 1 owner who has 5 contracts and has never received thousands of out of pocket expenses we were told would be reviewed due to being forced to use our own contractor, I have another one who's ac went out 21 days ago and 2 techs were issued and have been told "they are reviewing the techs notes", now "we are expediting matters", oh wait!..."I'm sorry it was not but we are doing that now"...OH WAIT... "I'm sorry it wasn't...."lets escalate that now"...21 days later after speaking to corporate (thanks a lot ******), still crickets. THEY ARE THE WORST and should be *** d for theft of services! I will be contacting the **************************************************), should anyone else need to know who oversees all of these home warranty companies who are all a joke. I suspect the reviews on their website is falsified and coerced. I can't submit all details here, but this company should not be in business and I am not speaking from 1 or even 2 experiences, this is a years worth of evidence and the owners should be fully reimbursed for all of the contracts they were misled due to misrepresentation of their services and terrible customer service. How do you give a company an A+ rating that isn't even accredited? I'M STILL WAITING ON A PHONE CALL FROM THEIR OFFICE SINCE FILING MY COMPLAINT AND IT'S BEEN 6.5 DAYS SINCE I VOICEED MY UPSET...RIDICULOUS!!

    American Residential Warranty assured me they were better than all the other home warranty companies as they would value me and my needs. Tonight, my Freezer went out on my refrigerator with tons of meat that would go bad. The best they could do is get me service in 3 to 5 days. Are you kidding me in a time of needed income, they are going to take food from my children's mouths because they can't get someone to my home before 3 to 5 days. I will be canceling my services tomorrow as I dealt with the nastiest customer reps today who could not service my needs or the needs of my family. I am sorry that I work all day to come home to an issue at 8 pm and ARW only has people servicing the needs that can't understand me any more than I can understand them. BBB should never consider you, and I assure the ************************ will become involved. Don't ever stop with BBB. Go to the ************************ to get your concerns settled.

    This company has given me the runaround about getting a refund. I enrolled in June and was told that I have 30 days to cancel without any problems. I changed my mind due to awful wait times in talking with customer service and decided I like my current home warranty company better. I cancelled the policy one week later. I was told that I would receive a refund within 30 days. It is now day 36 and no refund. Every time I call the company they try to get me to come back. i asked to talk with a supervisor and no supervisor was around. They were in "meetings." They hung up on me. This is AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. i WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!! And I am STILL WAITING on MY REFUND!!!How is it that I can receive an email to CONFIRM my purchase, but NO EMAIL TO CONFIRM MY CANCELLATION??? And no supervisor to talk to? Unbelievable!

    They are a horrible company you cant get to the same person twice. NO ONE ACTUALLY READS the notes from before. Several of the customer service people I had the misfortune of dealing with absolutely lied to me. It was a garage door opener that went bad they said its a replacement item not a repairable item They said it could only be purchased through them from the local Lowes every time i found a opener that was equal to mine they said it was out of stock. I finally went there and a took a picture of the 6 they actually had on the floor there Then they said it couldn't be over $300 well the unit I had was a high end unit I didn't want a cheep low end unit. In the mean time this was taking for ever to get completed then they finally said I could pay the extra so they charged m card the difference. They said they sent the purchase order to Lowes 3 times they never git it and the ** number wasn't a number Lowes ever uses it started with a letter not a number. after an aditional10 days they finally agreed to send me the money and let me purchase it this process took several weeks. 1 star is more then they deserve I am just glad I only bought the policy for 1 year AND THEY CERTAINLY DO NOT DESERVE A A+ rating from BBB I question their objectivity as well SATAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE IDIOTS

    I signed up about a year back in July 2021. I spoke to he rep when signing up and told him please do not auto-renew the contract, please contact me and I will make the decision then. I had to call three times and finally placed a claim for them to cancel, which should have never been renewed without my consent, and they are still not sending me my money back, ****** of it. This has caused hardship and I for this reason will not purchase again due to their lack of respect
