      This company is a joke. They either outright refuse to help you, or put you in a call waiting que where you wait for someone to call you back to tell you they are a service provider and not able to help you.I would avoid these guys like a plague.

      how do you get Freedom Mortgage to stop harassing you about taking equity loans? I have asked repeatedly that they remove me from their list and they are just not smart enough to figure this out. I am also on the do not call list but that doesn't stop it either. These guys are thick headed.

      Freedom Mortgage sends me standard mail 1-2 times a week with a new issue with my insurance every time. Each time they send it, they threaten to purchase insurance on my behalf, without my consent, and to charge me. I bought this home 6 months ago, and the mortgage has been with three other companies in that time, all of whom found the insurance sufficient, and without issue. Freedom Mortgage is attempting to coerce additional revenue through deceptive practices, and every time I call to rectify the issue it is as though I need to walk them through the insurance paperwork. They seem totally inept and I'm confident it is by design.

      Do not refinance VA loan with this company as they will try to charge you $13,000 to process your loan. We had nothing but miss communications, too many people calling and emails and now we cant get them to transfer the appraisal we already paid for and have title work transferred. I asked what we needed and cost to do to withdraw loan app and transfer to another local lender. Their response was no cost and just ask to withdraw and it would be done. This is not the case. Still trying to get things cancelled. BEWARE VETERANS OF FREEDOM MORTGAGE!

      Freedom Mortgage initially was fine, but October 2024 I did not receive a mortgage payment statement. Since then there have been several months that no mortgage statement was sent to me and several months my mortgage payment was not processed. I have tried speaking with representatives by phone with no success. Freedom Mortgage has made my account confusing and refuses to provide any help. I just want to make my monthly payment on time, I have contacted the **** and filed a complaint against Freedom Mortgage.

      I had a great experience with this company and do appreciate all the hard work they did for me. Highly recommend them for anyone they were very kind and gave me all the information I needed for my loan. Thank you so much.

      This has been one of the worst mortgage experiences. A mistake of their escrow department has cost me thousands with no end in sight. They missed a tax payment, blamed it on LA ************************* Didn't follow up with me timely and the ***************** let me know that they would put a lien on the property so I paid it since I hadn't heard back from Freedom's investigation. Once the payment had been sent, they said that they sent a check ALSO and would increase my payment (a few hundred dollars) to cover their mistake. They made me submit proof that I had already made the payment and then said it takes 60 - 70 days to "resolve" it. But this was only after calling back two weeks after I sent my proof. No one has ever proactively called me to update me on anything.

      I received a letter from Freedom Mortgage in May stating that I had an escrow account shortage. I contacted them immediately and provided proof of my home insurance. At that time, I was told the escrow shortage would be removed.However, on June 15, I noticed that my mortgage payment was higher than the usual fixed amount. I called Freedom Mortgage again, and they confirmed they had my home insurance on file and transferred me to the insurance department to request a refund. Unfortunately, the insurance department said they could not issue a refund because there is still an escrow shortage.This is incredibly frustrating and confusing. I always pay my home insurance and property tax separately, and *** provided the required documentation, yet no one seems able to resolve the issue. I would appreciate clear guidance and prompt assistance in correcting this matter.
