Went to a car wash for full service, went inside to pay and after paying one of the staff came up and asked who's silver car it was there and he took me to the car and the brake lights were on and he said the emergency brake was broken and the car couldn't move at all! I was really upset and they denied one of the staff did it because no one has ever done it before. But I didn't do it because I wasn't in the car for the wash or inside cleaning of the car. The kid who drove the car from washing area to cleaning area did it and I had to get it to my mechanic which thankfully was not too far away...the brakes are burned and I m waiting for estimate to fix..the car wash owner said he's not responsible but I feel hi is.

Why the heck would we put on the emergency brake if we have never done it in 39 years, almost 3 million cars washed.  Think this thru.  You and I were able to drive the car with the emergency brake on.  It actually was able to be pulled by the roller with ease thru the tunnel which means the damage was already done by you driving for who knows how long. You drove it to the car wash and we drove it a total of 25 feet.  Then you drove 1/4 mile to the mechanic and he said the brakes are burnt and need to be replaced.  I even told you when the car came out of the tunnel you should get this fixed and you probably have damaged it by now.   You are not getting a refund because we washed your old car properly.  Don't try to pull this that I should pay to get it fixed from something we did not do. I will not convince you but tell me how we could burn out the brakes in 25 feet. Use your head!  I got in the car and tried to release the brake by the handle that was already hanging down.  It was already damaged.  So you are saying we put on the brake and broke the release in a matter of 25 Feet and burnt out the brakes and you want me to pay.  GET REAL!!

I am rejecting this response because: your employee is the one who pushed the emergency brake into the down position for some reason while it went through the wash. It was perfectly drivable until then..we are not trying to get away with anything.. and we have not been driving this vehicle with the brake on..there would have been messages from the system telling us that! Lights flashing like they were when you came and showed me the car and said we should get the car fixed and that we probably have damaged it by now..well the car didn't need to be fixed until the employee pushed down, to the floor, the brake and there wasn't anything hanging down before that either! The burning of the brake that the mechanic mentioned was caused by getting the car to the mechanic most likely..not because anything was wrong before the brake was put to the floor.. nothing was damaged before that.. you should admit that it's the employees fault.. because it was.. don't make us out to be people trying to pull off a scam , we are not like that..so YOU get real!

      Sincerely,

Why would my employee push the emergency brake for yours to be the one in almost  3 million cars in 39 years!  That is rhetorical question if case you didn't realize it!  Your handle was hanging down  meaning it was broken before.  Accept it and go on with your life.  You were a fool not to notice it before when there was hesitation in driving ang getting it fixed before.  We drove your old car for 20' and you think we caused damage. You are out of your freaking mind.  END OF YOUR RIDICLOUS STATEMENTS.  Write whatever you want to me here.  I am done with your stupid thought and accusation.  No more responses from me.

It was a stupid comment from an employee of which the person spoke out of line.  He was put on suspension for 2 weeks.
