I signed up with RX Helper 3 months ago, being promised a deep discount for my medications. They charged me an application fee of $69 and then $69 month for my medications. However, I did not even give them the paperwork they needed to process the order, since my ** said to put my refill on hold. RX Helper kept taking their $69 month out as if they were providing my medications. Ultimately, my ** took me off the medication. RX Helper never provided me with the medication I was taking, but still took out the $69 per month fee, as if they had. When I asked for a refund, they said there would be no refund unless I didn't qualify for the program. They never even received my paperwork (since I never supplied it to them) to tell me if I did qualify! Yet, they continued to take the $69 per month and then, refused a refund of the money they took- and provided NO service!

Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention. The patient enrolled in our services on March 14, 2025 agreeing to the Terms of Service via Voice Verification. Once the patient enrolled into our services, we began working on their account immediately, including but not limited to phone calls, faxes, emails.  As soon as the patient contacted our company we immediately stopped services.  As a courtesy to the patient and the BBB  the patient has been refunded the amount of $59.95. We consider this complaint to be closed and we wish the patient the best and hope theyre able to find an alternate solution in obtaining their medication.

If the patient would like a refresher of what they agreed to via recorded verification, here are some bullet points listed below.
    Refund Policy
You were explained the refund policy again which is online 24/7 and which is stated to you in a recorded verification before you even finish enrolling. The Refund policy states, "If you are dissatisfied with our initial set up with The Rx Helper, a refund can be issued without denial letters sent. If a cancellation letter is received within 14 days from the date the first payment is processed, The Rx Helper will refund the initial monthly service fee without the requirement of denial letters. Initial paperwork sent to the patient by The Rx Helper must be returned with the cancellation letter for refund to take place." (Please take a look online to verify) We make sure you are completely aware of this before proceeding with our enrollment because once you agree our advocates start the process right away to not waste any time getting you assistance as soon as possible. You were fully aware of this before the process even started. Just because you complain to the BBB does not give you precedence over our clearly stated terms and conditions. Our refund policy is even stated on the BBB as well for your convenience. (Bottom page of the BBB) "The RX Helper's refund policy is very specific in nature. Please visit the company's website at ************************************************************************* for complete details. "Our terms and conditions are specific in nature to every patient.

I am rejecting this response because: This business didn't provide any service whatsoever. I never even returned the paperwork for qualification, since the medication in question became tentative per my Dr. **** took a non-refundable $60 just for their courtesy of "possibly" allowing me into the program if I qualified, then also took "2" $59.95 per month charges- again providing no services whatsoever. Their "token" refund of $59.95 for not providing any services is only "half" the monthly fees I paid- for NO SERVICES!

    Sincerely,

Were very sorry that the patient is not happy with the response. We clearly describe our services to the patient before theyre enrolled into our program, during their enrollment, as well as our refund policy.  The patient in their response is stating they received packet but did not send back. All is necessary in approval process as explained in the enrollment process. Out of respect to the BBB and in the interest in solving the complaint we have gone outside of our Terms of Service and refunded both service fees of $59.95. We really do wish them the best and hope they are able to find a suitable option.

I replied to an advertisement fromRX Helpers on 01/17/24 to inquire about their services advertised to help in getting weight loss medication direct at a lower price. The only thing I agreed to was if I decided to go with their program my payment would have to wait until Feb 4 2025. They did not mail me any paperwork nor did they send anything to my doctor. They stated they EMAILED me paperwork on Feb 5 2025 the same day drawing $109.95 out of my checking account. I did not receive the E-mail nor did I receive the paperwork. I am 60 years old Im not fluent with the computer, I due things with paper. I called to request a refund, I didnt get any services from them. The person I spoke with was very argumentative, wouldnt let me explain. So I just told him I was going to turn this over to the better business bureau. PLEASE HELP!Thank you.

On January 16, 2025, I applied by telephone for financial assistance for a doctor prescribed drug that is too expensive for me. I spent well over an hour, being transferred from one person to another. Terms of the contract were explained to me, along with a non-refundable $60.00 handling/processing fee. Today, I called to ask if I could cancel as I was not made aware that I would need to provide copies of ******** card, proof of income and other information. Had I been told this, I would not have electronically signed this form. I am not comfortable providing this confidential information to a 3rd party. When I applied for financial assistance for another drug from a different company, a few years ago, I spoke directly to the pharmaceutical company and was approved right away. I gave that company the information over the phone and did not have all this hassle. I feel since I was not told this up front by Rx Helper, and it is within 72 business hours (weekend + legal holiday), I should be able to get a refund for handling/processing fee. I was refunded $49.95 for the medication in advance of receipt when I called today. I tried several times explaining that I was not told specifically all the documentation they needed to approve my application. They told me it is a non-refundable fee and I could not be issued a credit card refund, even after agent put me on hold while he checked with the "powers to be" twice. Spoke to customer service, **** *.

Date of transaction was October 4, 2024.Both ****** and **** from RxHelper stated they were REPRESENTING ************ Patient Assistance Program. This ended up to be false manipulated representative conversation regarding their purpose with many misleading statements.I called ************ and was told that Novo does not have RxHelper represent them.I called my credit union to put a stop on any RXHelper charges. It was too late because RxHelper had already charged my account while I was still on the phone with them.I then called RXHelper within a hour of our original conversation to cancel.I was transferred to their ********************* and spoke with Nicko. Nicko said I had successfully cancelled my membership and would receive a full refund today. No further paperwork was needed. RxHelper tried to charge my account again on October 5, 2024 but failed because I had already stopped my credit card with my credit union.I tried to call RxHelper but was 'accidently' disconnented when transferred to their Compliance ************** unprofessional to take advantage!!!!!Contact was an initial phone call from RxHelper.

Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention. The patient enrolled into our patient advocate services on November 4, 2024 agreeing to the Terms of Service in writing, via electronic signature, and via voice recording. We have attached a copy of their signed Terms of Service to this response as a reference for the BBB and the patient. Once the patient became a member they requested cancelation immediately after being billed the Enrollment Fee of $60, and one monthly service fee of $69. 95. At the patients request we refunded the $60, we attempted to refund the $69.95 however the patient disputed this charge with their bank so we are unable to refund those to the patient on our end. At no time after request of cancelation did we bill the patient any additional fees. We are not sure where the total of $200 is coming from. Perhaps the patient is confused a refunded transaction with a debit transaction. We do wish the patient the best and hope they are able to find an alternate solution in obtaining their medication.
Refund Policy (Stated in your recorded verification, located on our website and BBB)

However,if you are dissatisfied with our initial set up with The Rx Helper, a refund can be issued without denial letters sent. Is that clear for you? (You stated yes via recording to this question)

I am rejecting this response because:

I am denying what RX HELPER has stated. During their recording of me, I asked if they were
'representing' ************ and the response was 'yes'.

Today, 11/15/24, I spoke with **** at RX HELPER. He put me on hold to talk ****. He stated that **** said RX HELPER never charge me for $69.95.

My credit union account has the charge listed. Why would they say that when I have physical evidence?

I tried to attach the item on my charge account but it would not go through.  How do I get this copy to you?

    Sincerely,

Were very sorry that the patient is not happy with the response. We clearly describe our services to the patient before theyre enrolled into our program, during their enrollment, as well as our refund policy. Out of respect to the BBB and in the interest in solving the complaint we did go outside of our Terms of Service and refunded the non-refundable enrollment fee of $60. We attempted to refund the monthly service fee of $69.95 however the patient stopped the payment with the bank so we did not receive those funds. We requested documentation from the patient that those funds were withdrawn and not stopped but did not receive anything from the patient. As with all of our patients we take any complaint seriously and do our very best to resolve them to the best of our ability. On our end the patient has been refunded fully in the amounts we received.  We really do wish them the best and hope they are able to find an alternative solution for their medication assistance needs.

I am rejecting this response because:  How can EX Helper state they did not charge my credit union account when I have documented proof that RX Helper did indeed charge my cedit union account for $69.95.  I have been trying to attach the report but have been having technical problems.  Is there any way I can fax it from Office Depot?  They said they could do it.  Please let me know.

As we stated previously at the patients request we refunded the $60, we attempted to refund the $69.95 however the patient disputed this charge with their bank so we are unable to refund those to the patient on our end. We do not have any funds of the patients at this time. At no time after request of cancelation did we bill the patient any additional fees. We have attached the refund receipt that was successful. We have also attached all of the unsuccessful refund attempts for the $69.95 to show that we are trying to release the funds even though we do not have them which is why they are failing to go through. We are not attempting to keep ANY funds from the patient. We do wish the patient the best and hope they are able to find an alternate solution in obtaining their medication.

I am rejecting this response because:   RX Helper sure can twist the words and meanings.  How can they deny telling me they would send me a check for $69.95 when my credit union statement proves the charge on 11/04/24 which is the date this mess started.  They also admitted in this last correspondence that they do infact owe me.  They should just send me a check and get their responsibility finally taken care of.

We have attempted to refund the patient and are unable to due to the patients stopping payment at the bank. We have attempted to contact the patient to try to resolve this by phone however the patients has not returned our calls. If the patient still needs assistance in obtaining a refund and is stating her bank has not returned those funds to her we would be happy to assist her. Please have the patient contact us so that we can resolve this. We are intending to refund the patient in full however have limitations due to the lack of direct communication with the patient. I am rejecting this response because:  The RX Helper contacted me ONCE.  Left a voicemail from a manager BUT no return phone number!  I left a message on CeeCee's voicemali to see if she had their contact number because I tried three different phone numbers I acquired from the net.  I called ************  (**********) twice which belongs to Advocate Services.  The first time I hung up after being on hold 15 minutes.  The second time I laid the phone down and was on hold for 1 hour 5 minutes before the number hung up on me.  I called ************ and received a recording that the number was not in service. I called ************ and it was Advocate Sevices AGAIN,  I gave up after 20 minutes.

I need a phone number where I will no longer be on hold and will speak with a human.

This organization is supposed to secure medicines at low cost. Based on my meds, the initial membership fee was $60, then $69.95 per month thereafter. I started the process in February. I have submitted the paperwork to them twice, have never received any medications from them. I was charged $60 + $69.95 in February, $69.95 in March and $69.95 in April. I have requested cancellation of my membership on three different occasions. I'm still waiting to have them honor it.

Rx helper sent me a package to fill out and send back. I scanned a filled out form and also mailed a filled out form. They did not except a social security statement. It is stated that a social security statement is an approved method. They sent read only files. This made scanning and sending almost impossible. All of the employees are remote. I paid 129 dollars they will not refund. I am concerned this company is a scam. They make it hard so people will quit due to improper messaging. They wanted my ******** I dont have that.
