      On Monday, June 30, 2025 at approximately 8:30am, I went to this First Watch with my date to get some breakfast. When the host seated us, we sat there for over ten minutes waiting on a waitress/waiter to take our order or at least ask if we wanted coffee or orange juice...
      Nobody ever came. The waitresses went to another customer that arrived after us! The sad part about this affair was that the restaurant was actually not that full.
      Poor customer service. I will never go there again.

      This is a review for the falls church location in VA. It’s a joke. How could the company let this branch opening like this.
      I would give it negative star if I could!!!!!! One star is a complement already.
      Worst. Experience. Ever.
      They told us 20–30 minutes. We waited over an hour with no update while empty tables just sat there. When we finally asked, the waiter mumbled some garbage about the kitchen being backed up — but didn’t bother telling anyone. Total incompetence.
      Then they finally seat us — outside in 95°F heat. No apology. No shame. Just pure laziness and zero regard for customers.
      The staff was rude, clueless, and clearly didn’t give a damn. This place is a disorganized mess run by people who shouldn’t be in the service industry.
      Avoid this place like the plague

      First Watch has the best breakfast / lunch menu, great friendly service, fresh *************** ambient seating area & most importantly your own fresh pot of coffee on your table. You NEVER have to wait long time for a refill. Great place for ****************** Enjoy.

      October 9, 2024=My Family and I love eating at First Watch, We thought it was the most delicious breakfast restaurant we have ever been to. We've never had any problems until today . We went to go eat today and towards the end, i asked for a box to go, and she brought over the receipt. I paid the total amount due which was around $72 and some change, and my family member said She would pay some of the tip. My family member and I had a miscommunication and i thought she said she would pay ALL the tip and so I proceeded to pay all what was charged. But my family member thought i said i would leave tips on the card. Anyway, The server yelled at us that we were unfair to leave just $6 as a tip (mind you, we were still there and she just assumed that that was all we were gonna leave as a tip) and she continued yelling at us how she was a single mom with a son and that she was gonna have to pay our tip for us. We were so in shock that we had no idea what was happening. I was just telling her "calm down, calm down" but she didn't even let me get a chance to talk. She came back and said how dare u leave only $6 dollars... and i told her, what if we didn't have any change? and she said "if you don't have money for tip, you shouldn't eat out in restaurants" she later came back a few seconds later and started being even more rude saying "You need to leave now" snapping her fingers at us. Being disrespectful and rude. There was no need for that, especially if you're assuming that that was all the tip we were going to leave. Imagine being yelled at, In front of everyone... I felt so humiliated. I got some more change out and proceeded to give her another $7 and she wouldn't take it, after she was yelling and complaining. And i told her that it wasn't for her that it was for her son. She said thank you in a veery rude attitude. I feel like i deserve an apology. The so called manager/waitress was named "*******"

      This place sucks now. The new manner ( fat African-American guy) is super unprofessional and doesn’t try to fit the problem. Instead wants to argue with the customers and not do anything to fix their mistakes. Really wish Nicole was here because she’s a professional. All the new server suck just like this place does now. Sad to see this place fall apart. ******* *** *** ******** ** ********

      I'd like to start by expressing my appreciation for FirstWatch food. I frequent the ****************** location almost every other day before my workout. Today, I visited the ******, ************** location for the first time, and unfortunately, my order was incorrect, which wasnt a big deal initially. However, I then realized I had no utensils. I called the restaurant and the person who answered simply said hello. After explaining the issue, she responded, Im not sure, I didnt take your order. I expressed my desire to resolve the problem, and she asked if I wanted to speak with a manager, who I believe was *****. ***************** stated, Its against our policy to give utensils; we dont give them out, and then abruptly hung up. When I returned to the restaurant to request a refund, ***** asked me why I wanted a refund, insisting there was nothing wrong with the food. I explained that my order was incorrect, but he argued that it was what I had asked for. I requested my refund, and he replied, Get the **** out of here, slamming cash on the counter. Despite my order totaling $17.74, he only gave me $17. As I was leaving, ***** followed me, walking up to me and shoving me. I told him not to touch me. He continued to yell as I called the ************************* The police took a statement from me but noted that no one saw him shove me. I wish to report this incident and request that ***** be disciplined for his actions. I am also seeking legal advice from my attorney.

      Just had the worst experience ever when it comes to customer service I arrived at the ******************** at 2:15 the waitress said that we had 10 minutes to place our order before they closed I ordered two shrimp and grits and a side of million-dollar bacon. The waitress was very rude our order was rushed she only brought out two shrimp and grits without napkins that was asked for several times and never got my bacon and I guess it was management that came to the table to tell us that I couldnt get my bacon in the kitchen was closed sorry. Poor service I want return

      WORST BREAKFAST WE EVER HAD!! asked for soft scrambled eggs, they were hard scrambled, they do not have grape jelly, no regular sugar or tomato juice, grits tasted awful, my over easy eggs were over cooked For our first time at this restaurant on Cortez Rd/Manatee Ave in Bradenton Florida this was a terrible experience! We also told the cashier about this and all she kept saying was please come back again and sorry about that instead of offering to discount the bill due to our dissatisfaction with our experience which would have been the right thing to do!! NEEDLESS TO SAY WE WILL NOT GIVE OUR BUSINESS TO FIRST WATCH AGAIN!! FIRST WATCH SHOULD NOT BE YOUR FIRST CHOICE!!

      I went to First Watch this morning(01/23/23) for breakfast! I ordered the Tri-Athlete plate as always. As I to ate my breakfast and fruit, I noticed dried food on the inside of my fruit bowl and all around the inside of my fruit bowl. This fruit bowl was also plated on my main plate next to my omelette. I completely lost my appetite. Once the waitress came back I showed her the fruit bowl and she agreed it was definitely dried food and apologized and offered to bring me another bowl of fruit. I said no thank you. If the fruit bowl is dirty and I was eating out of it, I no longer want to eat the omelette that the bowl was touching. She apologized again and asked could she bring me another fruit. I kindly said no and kindly explained it to her again on why I no longer want to eat the entire plate. Her response was well thats just how this restaurant business is. So its ok that I received a bowl that was clearly dirty and I am expected to eat it because this is normal! She proceeded to go get my check. The gentleman who normally rings me out when Im there never asked how was my experience at all. I have absolutely loved coming to this First Watch near hwy 90 and 59. But if you are making it a normal thing to serve food in dirty dishes, then my family will not be back! I paid $52.00 to eat off a diet plate but according to her that is the norm.

      I went to First Watch in Turnersville, NJ to have lunch with my dad for a later Father’s Day. We waited over an hour after putting our order in with no food. We didn’t complain, as we know restaurants are understaffed currently. Our server came up and told us she and the cooks lost our order and that she would bring us over a gift card for our wait and we could come back another time. She quickly dropped off our gift card with barely an apology. The gift card was for TEN DOLLARS. I could literally make more working an hour doing a minimum wage job. What a waste of time. We asked to speak to the manager and she said all he could do was offer us another $10 gift card. $20 wouldn’t have even covered our meals that we had ordered. The best part was that the gift cards expired the month before!! I reached out to corporate TWICE with no response about this situation. Horrible experience and will never return to this establishment.
