    Do yourself a favor and don't get involved with these thieves. There are other options out there!I had planned to not renew my account this year. In years past they renewed automatically, and they charged my card, and I didn't need to do anything. However, I had removed my payment method from my account and figured it would just expire, but they renewed it anyway without payment and without notice. And now they say I owe them for this next year's subscription that I am not using. And they are sending the past due invoice to collections. You can see this has happened to many others if you read more reviews. They trap their customers and steal from them. This is how they operate. Stay away from Teamviewer!

    Totally unworkable customer service. An ex-employee had set up an account and no one was aware of it. We never received a renewal notice from Teamviewer. We started receiving past due notices from them and when we explained the situation to them they refused to budge and sent it to collections even though the account had not been used in 7 months and we had no plans of using it. Horrible.

    On my renewal date I tried to switch my subscription to one that is less expensive and more appropriate for my company and they told me that because I did not do this within their 28 days prior to renewal limit, I have to wait another year. I have never seen anything like this and would definitely not recommend using this company, ever. Their answer to my problem was a threat to sic their collection agency on me. Avoid doing business with these people!

    You don't want to get involved with these sharks! While the product does work, it's neither bad or great, their business practices are very similar to any scammer on the net, predatory and unethical. The Teamviewer "customer service" department could be more accurately described as "customer enforcement". If you try to cancel a renewal with less than 28 days PRIOR notice, highly unusual for this type of subscription, they will force you to renew regardless of whether you want or need to continue their service. Why? Because they can, they'll tell you that. Customer wishes are literally irrelevant to these people. They'll tell you too bad, we got you, you should have read the fine print, shame on you. Almost any other service of this type allows automatic renewal cancellation anytime prior to the renewal date and all ************************ allow renewal cancellation after that within reason. Honest companies with great products don't have to pull this c*** DON'T BELIEVE ME, READ THE OTHER REVIEWS WARNING YOU AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

    If I could give them Zero Stars I would. They make it too hard to cancel and try to bully people to renew by threats of going into collections. We stopped using their product 2 years ago and were not aware of their automatic renewal, policy until they got a letter from a sketchy collections agency. We called TV, satisfied our bill and told them not renew our subscription automatically. A half year later they started asking for payment again. The customer service rep said didnt you see our email to alert you 28 days beforehand to cancel our response was no, we dont use your service, why would look at your emails? The customer rep then said well you will have to pay for another year and then cancel in writing. Our response was we dont use your service and cancelled already, please do not contact us again. 2 months later, another threat from TV shows up that an invoice is past due and it will be given to collections if not paid. This time we will not pay. Im curious if we will be automatically renewed next year.

    My renewal was coming up and noticed I lacked funds to pay for it so with a two week notice ahead of payment due I attempted to cancel my account which they would not let me do. Instead, they charged me then tacked on fees because it was late all because I didn't say anything like 60 some days in advance. A bit ridiculous in my opinion, I'm the consumer and indicated two weeks before renewal I didn't want the service as I couldn't afford it. Now I owe them money than ever. A very scammy way to do business.

    Team Viewer is a SCAM. Worst customer service! Do not use this company. I used their software for 1 week and it did not work properly. Charged me over $1,000 to start. Tried multiple times to cancel the service by calls and emails. Now I received a collection notice today for another year for $1,287.99. Save your money people. Times are tough and they keep you hostage and will only call you with threats of taking you to a collection agency in which they did.
