Wow, I don't think I ever had worse customer service experience. No answers to my request via email and online requests. Agree with all other complains. What a nightmare! Just tried to call again and after ******* answered got disconnected. Again. I give up. I called my credit card and requested not to let them charge me. Will have to deal with collection agency I guess in the future. I don't understand how is this legal.

Very unethical conduct from this company. We were suppose to be on a 14 day free trial. They have already charged out account for the year and they still say we do not have a subscription. I have called their ************** number 3 days in a row and they have disconnected us every time. We have put in a support ticket that has been only responded to by saying that they are backed up with support tickets and will get to us. I have requested on the support ticket for a cancellation. They have the absolutely worst customer support I have ever seen with a company.

Unethical conduct from a company desperate to make a buck. I attempted to cancel with this company for months, always getting the runaround never being able to reach anybody no weekend support for the issues that were consistently happening.. finally I was able to cancel 2.5 weeks before the renewal and they charged me for nearly $700 anyway saying that I missed the 28 day cut off to be able to cancel this terrible service. They dont give a partial refund. They dont give any support whatsoever. When you try to call you are put in queue and when somebody finally does get to you, they offer no remedy to the issue. This company does not care about customer service. They are a grab and go company trying to make an buck until finally they are shut down for unethical business practices, which is surely going to happen eventually.

After many attempts to get a final bill and cancel, all I get is harassment, emails that I have asked to stop repeatedly and when I tried to call, as others have from my cell, my desk, when it comes to the option to cancel it hangs up. All I have asked for is a final bill, not a year long renewal. It is just annoying and frustrating to be threatened by this company. I have even asked the rep to get me anyone else to call me to work this out to be threatened they will put it in collections so they will not allow you to cancel.

This company's intent is made clear when you attempt to disengage. I have been a loyal customer for years, managing several servers and workstations. We downsized after COVID and stripped our infrastructure down and I no longer needed the software so I spent a significant amount of time trying to access my subscription in order to cancel. I gave up with the intent to get back to it later thinking I had time. The credit card had been updated and they couldn't charge so I started getting threatening emails and then a letter to my home. I'll not pay it so we'll see where this leads.STAY AWAY

    Hi *******,

Yes, we need at least 28-day notice to cancel subscription prior to renewal date. We never received this notice from you, and it automatically renewed.

We also sent an email to you on 4.17.23 as a courtesy to remind you of license renewal to provide you with ample time to make any changes.

Hope this helps clear things up for you!

Like many others, our poor review with TeamViewer comes from the difficulty we experienced when trying to cancel our subscription with them and the customer service experience we had. Since we had requested to cancel after the 28-day notice period, TeamViewer refused to let us out of our contract with them. We had asked to cancel our subscription once TeamViewer notified us that our card was declined, so the 28-day notice period was missed only by 3 business days. As a small business, the amount of money they were asking us to pay was significant for us. We explained that we wouldn’t be using the service any longer and didn’t want to pay for something we had no plans on using. We were constantly met with the same response and the only solution they offered was a 10% discount. In addition, trying to even speak to someone at TeamViewer was incredibly difficult. After sitting on hold for 1.5 hours and being told I was first in line, the call ended and I was never able to talk to someone. I then tried to reach out through chat, which was broken. I sent a ticket through their website and had to wait three days to receive a response. After replying, it took another three days to receive a response. This was extremely slow and frustrating and TeamViewer even tried to close the ticket multiple times. I asked across all platforms of communication to talk to someone in the billing or subscriptions department and was always told to submit a ticket over and over. If I said I already had submitted a ticket and was unsatisfied with the response, they had no other options. After weeks of poor customer service and extreme frustration, we were only able to resolve this through a professional connection. If we didn’t have that connection, we would still be in the same place as so many others. TeamViewer uses predatory practices and has some of the worst customer service we have ever experienced.

Teamviewers customer service and business practices are truly terrible. They have failed to cancel my account after a year. And after contacting them, I have heard no response after 3 days. Last year they threatened me with a debt collector. I have not used their services for 2+ years. Cancelling should be easy.

Team viewer scammed me out of $9900 due to a typo error if it was when my laptop computer crashed and the only way to get it restored due to their pop up on the computer screen. They asked me to input info. They said that they would fix it for free and reimburse me for the purchase of protection for my laptop computer upon purchase 7 months prior. The amount of purchase was $99.99 but I made a typo supposedly but they typed in $9999. They told me to return the money which I did through bank withdrawal from my checking account. Then asked me to take the money in the amount $9900 to pay back to them to a Bit Coin machine which I did. The guy on the phone that I talked to told me after I had deposited the money in bitcoin to call him back, and he would restore my computer and not freeze my bank account which he did. When I called him he claimed I owed him $4500 . According to him, he said he had a problem with the funds I deposited to him on bitcoin half of it did not go through. I called my bank to ask them to put a freeze on my account. What actually happened was team view remotely took control of my computer and used the money in my savings account and transferred it to my checking account like they put the money in my checking account. Team view scammed me of $9900 of my own money. I called my banks fraud department and looking also in this matter.

Teamviewer billed me for two subscriptions in 2021. This was partly my fault for now knowing how to renew properly. Still, they allowe dme to create TWO subscriptions for the same service, one of which was a dupe. When I blocked them from charging me twice for the same ser ie in 2022, they threatened me with court action. I appealed their collection letter, they refunded me for a dupe subscription and then cancelled ALL of my subscriptions, including the one I had paid for. Scammers. AVOID.

I am beyond frustrated with the complete lack of ethics and professionalism displayed by TeamViewer. My experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I am not alone in my sentiments based on the myriad of complaints on the BBB website, Reddit, and other forums (some dating back 7+ years!). I used this service during covid for remote access for work, but after covid, Ino longer needed the service. I had a card on file for renewal, but the card expired, and when I was notified of this, I replied via email that I did not want to renew. Teamviewer responded by saying that I did not cancel in time and therefore I owe them 1445€ for a license towards a future service I neither want nor currently use. Despite my wish to cancel, TeamViewer is still attempting to charge me for a license in the current year for a service for which I do not have access, as they canceled my account. Despite the account being suspended, TeamViewer has now sent me to a debt collector for non-payment of these charges, totaling 1661€ in fees. I am shocked by the level of unprofessionalism and aggression displayed by this company in their pursuit of payment for a service I did not want or use. When I called them, I got a flippant young man who told me “Too bad! You should be more careful what you sign up for!” This is not how customers should be treated, and this is not standard practice for the subscription business model. I can think of no other company who, upon a card being declined or when a customer expresses the desire to cancel a service, says, “Too bad, you owe use money for a future service we won’t grant you access to and that you have no wish to use. Pay up or we will send you to collections.” AND THEN actually sent me to collections! It’s unheard of! Due to their unethical behavior, poor customer service, and predatory billing practices I’m honestly shocked there hasn’t been a class action by now.
