    I was charged $1,304.10 by Abyde on May 17, 2025, for an annual automatic renewal of their HIPAA compliance software, which I did not use at all during the prior subscription year.California law *********************** Code *****) requires that businesses send a clear and retainable renewal notice, such as by email, before charging a renewal fee. Abyde did not email me a renewal notice, despite actively emailing marketing content. They claim they posted a message within their software, but I never logged in or saw it.I attempted to resolve the matter directly with the company, but they have refused a refund. I have disputed the charge with my credit card provider and am requesting BBBs assistance to resolve this and secure a full refund.
