  Misleading Sales, Payment Mismatch, and No Accountability. I initially contacted Solar Bear with hope where they promised a solar+ battery setup that would work even during grid outages. The rep, Troy, assured me the system included a switch and battery that would do exactly that. Great. So, with told “special discounted rate,” I agreed to a monthly lease of $117.41, which I signed same day with the finance company GoodLeap. So, the tricky sale was done. But two days later, I was suddenly told “the computer miscalculated” and my actual payment would be $210/mo - nearly doubled. Plus, rather than owning the mistake, Troy insisted that I call the finance company to cancel the original agreement, even though it was Solar Bear who gave me false numbers. This is not how a professional company should operate. When sales start with misrepresentation and lack of responsibility, I can only imagine what the service will look like down the road. I’m sharing this so others avoid a similar situation and are aware of Solar Bear practices. For this review - no BBB account is required. But if I need to file a complaint, I’d surely sign up.   Contracted to install system which they did in 2023. The following spring prior to hurricane season I contacted Enphase who supplied the batteries and found that my system was not wired to my house. It was running but not much else. I contacted Solar Bear about this issue and was told that they had a contractor who incorrectly did this to several homes in the Florida area. Obviously no QA follow up from the main office. They promised to correct this issue. After several calls to the Tampa office ( at least 4-6 weeks worth) a Technician came out and verified it was installed incorrectly with no benefit to me. He promised they would get this corrected quickly. Crickets from Tampa office. Multiple calls with no call back, "several" weeks go by and a representative finally sends a crew to fix the problem. Enphase sends a crew from Miami and finds that one of the 3 batteries are not working and should not have been installed due to the past expiration dates and that Solar Bear is responsible for replacement. E-mails from Enphase are sent to Solar Bear detailing this. I receive a single voice mail from Solar Bear that they are looking into it. This was late 2024/early 2025. I have called the Tampa office multiple/multiple times. The girl who answers is always pleasant and apologetic and promises she will notify the management staff to call me and has even given me e-mail address on who to contact which I have. I even contacted their sale rep who got back to me the next day and I explained my situation to him and he promised to get this directly to the management team. Still no call. I have been paying on this system for close to 2 years and it still does not function correctly. I contacted the local WESH 2 news about this as well and hopefully they will contact me this week.   Good experience with the 3 Bears. Solar,Roof and Foam installers were GREAT. Will recommend after tidying up some details and observing how well the system offsets consumption.

  Great experience with **** and ********. They were quintessential in navigating through HOA and Permitting. . Install team were magicians, panels were up super fast. Definitely recommending to the neighbors.

  Thank you Solar Bear and Roof Bear for a pleasant experience. ****** ********* were awesome during production and install. Also both install teams were professional and fast. There were a couple issues along the way yet ***** was always there for me when addressing my concerns. Overall I would recommend these companies.
