I had purchased a car battery at another Christian Brother's automotive and 2 years later the battery died. That's understandable for Florida heat, but it comes with a 5 year warranty. So I called around to see if I could bring in a battery to be replaced but it was a different brand than they had on hand. So I called a couple CBA but this one said they would take care of me. So I went in and it was super easy. I'm grateful for their commitment to taking care of their people.

On July 19th I brought my vehicle in to Christian brothers - owned by Bryce Meredith to resolve an issue of a loose/sinking brake pedal ( generally caused by a bad master cylinder). Upon paying a $150 diagnosis/ inspection fee, Christian Brothers confirmed it was the master cylinder and quoted me $1500 to replace both the master cylinder/ brake booster. Upon picking the vehicle up this is where things took a turn for the worse. The vehicle was initially very sluggish and then out of nowhere while driving on a major road the wheels completely locked up and smoke started coming out of the vehicle. Vehicle was towed back to Christians where they held on to my car for the next 3 weeks claiming that there was no part available while maintaining a stance that the issue with the brake system couldn’t possibly be caused by the very brake work they performed. Finally after weeks of frustration and them trying to charge me another $600, I took matters into my own hands. I personally procured the ABS module they claimed i needed and was “unattainable”, and had the vehicle towed to a reputable Nissan dealership. The dealer confirmed my suspicions, that Christian Brothers performed a faulty repair on the master cylinder/ booster and improperly readjusted the brake pedal so that the brake was constantly being applied which led to completely faulting the ABS, putting my family and I in a dangerous situation. The dealer fixed the issue within no time and corrected the issues that Christian Brothers had caused. Nissan also had to replace damaged rotors/ brake pads caused by the locked brakes - another item Christian Brothers failed to detect in their 3 weeks of post repair troubleshooting. I don’t believe this shop delivers high quality work and even more disturbing does not accept responsibility when a techs work endanger customers. I would never recommend this repair shop to anyone based primarily on the owners tactics to place blame on anything and anyone except his own shop.
