When I purchased his puppy, everything was fine and then the as I was promised that I would get reimbursed for his first vet visit and vaccinations. They want you to use their vet which is 2 1/2 hours away but then I told them thats too far so they said I would get reimbursed. They told me to email the warranty department in which I have numerous times and they have a generic email stating Im sorry your puppy is sick. Well my puppys not sick. I only emailed the documentation as per their instructions that I will get reimbursed Ive called several times. Spoke to ***** . I was spoken to ***** and a few other people only to tell me that they should be replying to me shortly Even the same day and I am still waiting. That was a week ago. I want my reimbursement for my first visit as promised I paid $112.41 which includes a $25 deposit that I needed to pay only to make the appointment. I just want what was promised. My dog is doing fine. He has a few behavioral issues in which Im hoping to correct soon. Like I said, I want what was promised my reimbursement for his first vet visit. I then found out that these puppies came from puppy meals. I had no idea of this.. they have changed the business name several times, but from what I understand were and are still being investigated. The girl working at the store even told me that she doesnt even know who the owner is so it sounds kind of shady and should be investigated. I was doing research before Christmas to try and purchase an AKC **** ****** Terrier. I was directed to Blue Sky Puppies. I called and spoke with the representative who seemed to be in a call center handling the calls. He answered my questions and confirmed that yes it is an AKC bred dog. The store rep also said to my boyfriend and I several times that he WAS and AKC bred dog. She put all of the paperwork and including the Certificate Pedigree in an envelope. Now that I have gone to register him with the ****, all the paper work shows ACA which is not of the same grade, and my ****** Terriers ears have Never stood up! He is not a true ****** Terrier and I am so upset! They need to stop saying fraudulently that their dogs are AKC and refund me and any others they have told that information! They also have a ******% interest rate!!!! That isnt even legal to charge!!!Business Response

Please see attached files. For the puppy's registration, our puppies have different levels of documentation and it is indicated on the website what type of registration the puppy has. In this case, her puppy has ACA registration indicated on the website (uploaded). Registration and other paperwork are shown to the customers if they ask when they visit the store and interested with a specific puppy, especially of they decide to purchase, they are provided of all the puppy's paperwork. On ****************** pre-sale call, she did not ask about the registration and just inquired the her pet's availability status and some EasyPay related questions. Since EasyPay is only a third party company we are partnered with for the patrons to get a loan to help them purchase their desired pet companion, we only have limited information regarding to the terms of the customers financing loan. What Easypay provides and approved the customers of, we are only to let them know their approved amount and they are shown the Summary of terms (uploaded). If they agree to the terms, they sign it digitally to proceed with the financing application as well as on the hard copy afterward as proof that they understand the terms and conditions of the financing loan they are taking. I am rejecting this response because:******* was not able to show me the certificate because she was the main worker in the front. When I asked her if he was AKC she said Yes. Me and my spouse both verified that verbally with her. I would like to please be competed or received an AKC ****** Terrier. I love our Zeus, but I was misinformed and rushed during the sale. His ears only point up when he is sleeping. BlueSky may allow financing, but they were paid $2,200, very overpriced for an ACA puppy.

As mentioned previously, the puppy's paperwork has been presented and given at the time of purchase. We have given time to each of our customers to check the puppy, it's physique, behavior and temperament as well as the documentation before finalizing the sale. Please see second page of your contract for the scope of the disclaimer as we have no return policy. The type of registration is indicated on the website as well as on the registration given at the time of sale. As much as possible, we would like to avoid "he said / she said" type of situations and we would be happy to assist you with your concern but we need factual basis for the claim. Let us know. They falsified their statements and then gave me paperwork in a rush because she had so many customers. I spent far over what I should have spent for a non AKC puppy. It is not a matter of he said she said, it is a fact that my spouse and I were informed that our puppy was an AKC pure bred ****** Terrier. A color Blue ****** Terrier is not even a valid color for consideration by the **** Please consider refunding me, if not the $2400, then at least $1200. I was misinformed and very disappointed with this process. Please assist.Sincerely,

The puppy was purchased on Nov 11th. Within a day or two of taking the puppy home he started to have health issues. Part of the purchase agreement is to take the puppy to a vet which I was told it would be okay to take him to a vet near my home. The puppy was confirmed positive for a parasite and 3 respiratory infections. A number of attempts have been made to get information on where I can submit the vet bills and they are just ignored by the company. I ended up disputing the charges with my credit card company to attempt to get their attention and they still have not provided information. I have had to pay out of pocket ($581.70) to get a puppy back to health that I now believe was knowing sick when purchased. The puppy is still dealing with digestive issues from the parasite and I will incur additional fees at the vet to pay for testing and medication until it's completely cleared. I want to be reimbursed for the cost and time spent (missed work) working to solve the health issues of the puppy.Business Response

We are writing you regarding the case of *************************** who purchased a puppy last November 11, 2023. We tried to call the client to follow up on the wellness of his puppy by the following timeline but never got a response back for
the issue reported.
November 12, 2023 staff left a voicemail, client called back and mentioned the puppy is doing
good.
November 15, 2023 staff was able to talk to him and puppy has minor issues. We asked to keep us
posted with the condition and so we can assist them further
November 18 no answer from the client, left voicemail
November 21 no answer from the client, left voicemail
November 22 no answer from the client, left voicemail
November 27 no answer from the client, left voicemail
November 30 no answer from the client, left voicemail
December 3 no answer from the client, left voicemail

The clients initial call with us, he was informed to call us back so we can assist him further with the
concern. Our warranty requires the client to send the paperwork via email for us to be able to review
all veterinary certifications and documents and reimburse them with the veterinary expenses related
to their claim in accordance to the viral and bacterial warranty of his pet. But client failed to give us
an update. There was never a formal claim/request for reimbursement sent at ***************************************************************** and the client just opened a credit card dispute without coordinating properly about their concern.
The client contacted us with claims that the puppy had a bacterial issue and we responded to him
that we required veterinary documentation that the puppy was unfit for sale but we never got a
response as of now.

I am rejecting this response because:The company did state in the contract communication could take place via phone or text. I responded via text and provided the documents and requested review and response from them on a number of occasions and since they refused to respond that is when I opened the dispute with the credit card company. This is the first time via their response to this BBB complaint that they have provided any information to file a claim for reimbursement. I will send them the information but I feel doubtful that they will actually follow through.

I feel in love and purchased a puppy from Blue Sky paid $565.65 and owe a balance of $565.00. The puppy showed signs of being sick for two days I immediate called them for assistance and was told they did not want to assist. The puppy die this morning 5/23 (less than a month) from Parvo a virus that they knew he had. Looking at the reviews I found out how many puppies they have sold that have die a month later. I've only been in Fl. for a year and a half and did not know they were not reputable. This morning I found the puppy unresponsive It has not been devastating to me and my two year old to find him lifeless. since. I reached out to them and they stated they had nothing to do with it (they only guarantee two weeks). However, they are selling sick dogs to innocent people. The puppy was purchase as a gift for my 2 year old son who found his puppy lifeless. This establishment must be closed down and I want a refund on my payment and I should not have to pay the balance owned. When I purchased the puppy I requested the Health certificate that they never provide me with. According to the law 828.29 they are suppose to provide me with it. Everytime I called they would tell me they were getting it ready for me and would let me know when I could pick the certificate I told him the it is illegal to see a puppy without an official health certificate at the time of purchase! "It is illegal to sell a puppy or kitten without one."
They are practicing illegally according to the law therefore I would like a full refund and a waiver on the balance due. There is no price on the pain and mental anguish me and my son have been through as we lost our new pet. My puppy was so little and I never left him out of sight and took special care of him even my neighbors were surprise. This establishment is well known for this practice and only a day ago my neighbors brought it to my attention by showing me the reviews. How dare them continue to be in business. I am a 62 yo disabled woman. I went to the Clearwater store in November, after being approved for purchase of a puppy by the Blue Skies lender. After choosing a puppy I completed the required paperwork and contracts. This was a long process since the young man completing the work was doing his first sale. At the end he took my credit card to do the down payment and, because of inexperience, put it in the machine incorrectly causing my back to throw a "Fraud Alert" and refuse payment.
Since I was not leaving the store with a puppy, I asked the 2 girls (managers? who were nasty and more interested in their *** than customers) to destroy the contracts until I returned. They refused, telling me the contracts could not be destroyed. I explained that by keeping the signed contract they were insinuating I had purchased a puppy which I had not. After a barrage of verbal abuse from these girls, my friends and I left the store. No contract destroyed. No puppy. I said then, this is going to be a problem. I called both the store and lender the next morning and reviewed what had happened. They said the contract would be destroyed since I had not gotten a puppy.
SIX MONTHS later and despite monthly calls to both the business and the lender I am still fighting CHARGES for the puppy I DID NOT purchase. Blue Skies staff repeatedly tells me that they notified the lender I DID NOT purchase a puppy and should not be charged. The lender tells me that BLUE SKIES PUPPIES Took the money for my contract and I will continue to be charged interest until BLUE SKIES cancels the contract and returns the money.
In the meantime my account has gone into Collection and interest is racking up. I have been in and out of the hospital numerous times these last 5 months, most recently with ulcers partly caused by trying to deal with these two companies regarding charges for the puppy I NEVER GOT.Initial Complaint

Purchased a mini aussie from the Orlando store on 5/7/2022. On February 8 2023, I had to put her down with Stage 4 Lymphoma. Blue sky puppies offered a 1-year health warranty, which was obviously triggered due to the cancer. On February 14th, I supplied all the requested invoices and documents for their warranty department to review at [email protected]
I have sent 5 additional emails since they received all the required documentation and i have also called their "orlando store" 4 additional times (the orlando store just reroutes to a call center with a 'skype' sound) and have been told that my issue will be escalated, although no status update or resolution has been provided. Multiple times on the phone i have been told that the lead time for warranty claims is 5-10 business days, which has been well exceeded. When I ask for a physical address or contact for the warranty department, I am told that information is not available and that if I want any further information I need to go to the store in Orlando (3 hour drive). They do not have a home office or physical address for their warranty department, nor do they have any other contact method besides an email box.Customer Answer

husband and I purchased a Havapoo cream puppy at Blue Sky Puppies, in Clermont, Florida.
Date of Purchase was on November 13, 2022. On Wednesday the 16th the puppy started coughing and was uncomfortable. On November the 18, we took him to, All care Animal Hospital in Groveland, Fl. The puppy was examined by the veterinarian and took chest x-rays. The puppy was diagnosed with having pneumonia was told due to being around sick puppies at the store.
Called Blue Sky Puppies at 321-329-0386, which turns out to be a call center not a direct number to the actual store, I was told to email and send a copy of the contract and the information from the veterinarian to BLUE SKY ORLANDO WARRANTY DEPARTMENT, was told within 3 days I would hear back from the warranty department. I did receive an email asking how can they help? On November 19th, I emailed stating I purchased a puppy and the puppy was sick and wanted a refund for the vet visit and for medicine given to help the puppy. The fee for the entire visit $345.23 and the second fee for a follow up visit for $81.00 dollars. After contacting the warranty department, no one reached back to us . I kept calling to follow up only to get the same response that someone from the warranty department would reach out only by email, as they don't do calls so "its not a he said he said" situation. Tried to get an update on December 12 but was told to resent all documents again on as no one received the documents (receipts) Resend all documents again to the warranty department only to be told again with in 3 days someone would reach out, but no one did. i purchased a mini dachshund for $3K on 1/3/22. When I was at the Tampa area store, specifically asked about a wet spot below her eye and was told it was a tear that was wiped. When we were driving home she was shivering, just thought she was nervous. After we got her home she started coughing took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with conjunctivitis and kennel cough. Tried reaching out to speak with a manager. Bought a $2600 pure breed dog from Blue Sky puppies w a contract. They gave me an invalid application number to register the dog with the ACA as a pure breed. I have tried to correct this situation for over a month through emails and phone calls with not resolve. Through for I bought a dog I can not breed or prove is a pure breed dog. The have a county permit #213
