  On July 18th, 2024 I took my car to **********, (Previously Paradise Ford) to have a Airbag warning lamp in my car checked out. I paid $200.00 for the evaluation.That afternoon service called me and apologized for taking so long, after checking everything, they found that the airbag module had failed which was the last thing they could check. They quoted me between $1,100.00 and $1,200.00 for repair. I declined to have them fix it and paid the $224.65 charge for the evaluation.The following Tuesday I took my car to Triangle Auto to have another evaluation done.Their evaluation was very different in they said that the clock spring had failed and charged me $553.86 to replace and fix it. I picked the car up yesterday and the warning light is gone now.There was never a problem with the airbag module!It is very difficult for me to believe that service told me to my face that the problem was the airbag module.I am wondering if they even worked on the car, but rather assumed it might be the airbag module. Or possibly they did work on the car, found it was the clock spring and thought they'd make some extra money!Either way I feel very much that they failed to earn the money I spent for the evaluation. I have called them twice today in hopes of talking with the service manager hoping to receive a refund. I did leave a message but as of 3:15 on a Friday afternoon have not heard back.I do have both invoices which prove that this actually did happen.I am in the process of publishing notices such as this to every person, web site, and protective organization I can possibly think of in hopes of warning others of this company.I hope that ********** can clean up their act. I owned a business over 40 years and if I had an employee that did this to a customer they would be fired instantly after I found out. Although possibly this is **********'s company policy, to deceive others.
