  I had a smooth and stress-free move with International Van Lines. They offered a fair and transparent price with no hidden feesunlike many movers out there. The crew worked tirelessly, treated my belongings with care, and made the entire experience feel effortless. I now understand why theyre considered one of the best moving companies. Their professionalism and attention to detail truly stood out.

  I recently moved to ********** in *******, **, and hired International Van Lines for the job; these guys impressed me by a huge margin. Firstly, **** was a really solid person, walking me through all the paperwork and logistics with extra attention to whether I was understanding everything, which took a load off during a stressful time. Then, when it came to it, the actual team wasn't just lifting stuff; they made it a case to carefully pack fragile items, disassemble and reassemble furniture they thought wouldn't survive the move in its "full form," and even gave some ideas for where I could place a few pieces I wasnt ready to bring in. Their professionalism and friendliness were definitely surprising; I felt pretty safe to be honest. I recommend them for anyone like me who's always looking for peace of mind.

  Bait and switch. Got an estimate based on visual review of my belongings, every cabinet, opened to view. Every clostet, e very draw. ******** even told me how much $would be due upon packing and loading. She DID NOT tell me that the lead packer would re estimate the cubic feet upwards by 800 cubic feet! And try to get me to sign off on it! After ***** words and more lies from ********, that huge space dropped to about 200 more cubic feet. Thats 5' 9" on edge. 5-9 x 5-9 x 5-9. The original quote some how missed that? Not only was the NO ADDITIONAL things added, i informed her that a 6' sofa and standard office chair wouldn't be included. This company scams customers, is NOT TRANSPARENT in their costs or prceedures, and is argumentative when questioned! Had i known any of this i would not have used them and thereby have saved more than $500!

  I had no idea how much rage, frustration, and helplessness a company could cause until I dealt with International Van Lines (IVL). My husband and I, both seniors with a lifetime of experiences behind us, have weathered all kinds of challenges — adversity, bureaucracy, loss — yet nothing prepared us for the mistreatment we endured during this move. I deeply regret ignoring the many warnings about this company. The trouble started immediately after we paid. Despite sending updated videos showing we had downsized significantly — clearing out half our home — they refused to lower the quote. Their excuse? They had already “accounted for” that reduction. A blatant lie. But we were too close to the move date to back out. Once they had our payment, communication evaporated. Oral promises of a delivery window were ignored. We were left in limbo, receiving only generic form letters. No updates, no transparency, no accountability. When our belongings didn’t arrive, we had to spend days in a hotel at considerable expense. Eventually, we gave up and slept on the floor of our new home, feeling powerless. When our shipment finally showed up — late — several items were damaged. That began a drawn-out, infuriating claims process filled with stonewalling, delays, and excuses. The experience wore us down and made it clear that they were hoping we’d just give up. Only after we hired a lawyer to send a formal letter did they finally take our case seriously. It should never require legal intervention to get a company to fulfill its basic obligations. If I had known, I might have filed complaints with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, the Attorney General’s office, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Based on the large number of similar complaints and horror stories from other customers, it’s clear our experience was not an isolated incident — this is a pattern of behavior. In my opinion, this company should not be in business.

  My experience with International Van Lines was exceptional from start to finish! Moving can be incredibly stressful, but their team made it feel seamless.   I have used IVL in the past to move a car but first time for my household goods. I have to say that my experience was phenomenal. They fully packed my house in 5 hours flat, I couldn’t believe it. Communication was great and have no complaints whatsoever. 10/10

  Moving can be an incredibly stressful process, especially when considering the numerous horror stories about moving companies. After researching top-rated companies, I decided to call ***. From the outset, I noticed a significant difference in their customer service compared to other leading carriers I had contacted. The representative I spoke with took her time and explained many details I hadn't even thought to ask about. I particularly appreciated their transparency regarding the delivery process, packing of fine art, and handling of special items like my baby grand piano, including their crating service. I ultimately chose to hire *** for my move, and I'm thrilled with my decision. Everything was picked up and delivered exactly as explained. Their reputation truly speaks for itself.
