In 2024, I received a "vacation of a lifetime". however, they are never able to honor my dates. You can only submit by fax, and at one time in April of 2025, the fax line never worked, it kept kicking the file back. They contacted me on 06/20/25, the lady was very irritable, and VERY rude and you could hear it in her voice. She wanted me to confirm when I received my certificate, because you only have one year to travel, I provided the information. The dates that i need are never available, and then she said, well you only have two days. Keep in mind I requested the dates of July 10th to July 14th. You contact me less than 30 days to tell me I am approved? I need to request time off, rent a vehicle and it is not feasible at the moment. So, I asked for my $50 I paid back, and she said NO, you must travel. The vacation becomes null/void in less than 30 days, so of course you are trying to discourage me. I asked her, why are you so upset, like do you like your job. She talking to me all crazy and for what, mam YOU CALLED ME....so I just want the $50 I paid because they arent able to accomodate me.

We received her fax. The fax is working fine. She only requested two dates which involved fees that she did not want to pay. The extra fees that were listed on the reservation form that she sent (attached) and original voucher that she has. We will not receive our allotments until 30 to 60 days prior to the dates that she requests. That is how the program works. She is going to need to send in new dates. She will get a refund or $50 after she uses the vacation. As per the terms and conditions of the offer (listed on the documents that she submitted), the fees are clearly stated. She is more than welcome to use the vacation as long as she follows the terms and conditions. I have attached what she sent us with this information listed. She was complaining about the fees. That is why she did not want to book those dates.

For the past few months after paying a $50 deposit, it has been nearly impossible to book this so called free vacation after completing my agent training. The rules kept changing(needing more money, needing to attend a seminar) that were not mentioned before and no dates were available for the destinations. The last straw was a very very rude representative that said they were the manager that hung up on me as I tried to understand why it was so difficult to book. All the dates I sent were unavailable or needed an extra fee. I sent her many dates, two which were in august during the week. I was told those two dates August 17&18 would be dates that could be worked on for destinations ********** or *******. So I asked her which destination and I was told it would be ***** days before she could tell me which destination. Keep in mind there is a penalty fee if a destination is assigned within 60 days of the date. Also it is insane to be waiting ***** days to plan a vacation that is far away from me as transportation cost rise as time goes on. Finally I went to ****** and seen a ton of bad reviews on this company and I wish I would have read them before paying a deposit. I called back after being hung up on to speak to the operator to ask for a refund at this point. The lady was also very rude and told me I have to send a fax for a refund although *** (a name given to me, dont know if thats her real name as they are untruthful) offered me a refund May 22nd out of frustration of all my questions so why cant I have a refund without obstacles now??? The lady was very rude explaining why I cant have my refund immediately and when I told her I was documenting the call she hung up on me also. I saw in the ****** reviews many people were hung up on. I cant believe this agency is still in business. They belittle the people that call them, but from the ****** reviews I see they treated people like this for many years. Shame on any company that partners with these hustlers.

Ms. Baker paid her activation fee on 1/9/25. She clicked the box stating that she understood and read the terms and conditions of the offer (attached). No one from ETTSI promised her a free vacation. The terms and conditions are stated on the actual voucher plus it is on the website. www.vacationofalifetime.com under terms http://www.vacationofalifetime.info/terms.php. Every time she requested dates, she requested dates that were not following the terms of the offer. She did not want to pay the additional fees that are listed in the terms. It is not difficult to book it as long as you follow the terms and conditions listed. She got upset because she did not want to follow the terms. She was extremely rude to our agents so we went ahead and approved a refund for her. No one is hustling anyone. They are eligible for a refund and we do not want to keep her money. Usually the refund process takes 60 days. However, I will make sure that a check goes out to her sometime next week.  As long as people follow the terms of the offer and don't get frustrated with us for something we did not tell them, the process is simple and works perfectly fine. We booked thousands of customer per month without any issues. (Unless, they don't want to read or follow the terms and conditions.)

I am rejecting this response because:

I documented the conversation, when I let the agent know I was documenting the conversation they stop playing me. I gave 10 dates, 2 I were told could be booked then I was told it takes 30-60 days to know if I can have those dates which is ridiculous and unprofessional. I’m grateful for this documented response in writing as it is proof that this company doesn’t have integrity which is proved by the many other BBB complaints and Google complaints which I wish I read before giving any amount of money. Expecting someone to make major transportation travel plans within a week or less of time is absurd and that’s just what the agent alluded by telling me I had to wait 60 days before I knew the august date was available. From January it has been impossible to book trips, I was told that a pick for Hilton Head was accepted after a fax then called later to be told it wasn’t available. This organization seems like a scam. I do not appreciate being lied on and I would recommend you disclose that to your agents as I documented the call after being suspicious of this organization once my dates were accepted then denied for no apparent reason. There is no concrete organization of this place and I’m now questioning their business connections and inability to deliver on the services they offer. However I would caution telling any lies on me as I documented the conversation and lying is defamation when you make a public statement. The agent hung up on me not because I was rude but because I let her know I was documenting the call, she was actually telling me she couldn’t give me a refund without a fax. So lying is not a good thing for anyone to do and this company needs to come up to the times of technology. The fact I had to constantly fax anything was not only ridiculous (when you can sign digitally online, there are cheap services that provide legal accepting ways to sign documents online) but shows that this company is not up to par with the brands they are partnering with and the people that feel unheard with this company should have a bigger platform to share their experiences so that no one else is taken advantage of or have their time wasted. I wanted only to book a trip and the people working for this company were very rude to me as stated on Google reviews by other people.

    Sincerely,

    Crystal Baker

$100 deposit was given to this business for future booking to stay at their hotel/condo. I was not provided with accommodation options for the dates and locations needed. After joining Global Travel as an agent, I received what was supposed to be free 3day/2night vacation for two guests as a promo ******* order to "activate"/use this supposedly free gift, I discovered upon reading ETTSI fine print that a refundable $50.00 deposit was required prior to making any reservations.I submitted my deposit on 12/13/2024 and soon after tried to make reservations for a trip. After making several vacation date requests, that were later denied because ETTSI sad no accommodations would be available on the dates I asked for, I finally decided to request a refund.Per the stipulation outline in ETTSI terms and conditions, I faxed thema formal letter that included my signature, requestion a full refund on 01//23/2025. ETTSI terms and conditions tat that processing of all refunds would take up to 60 business days.More than 60 days has now expired, and I have not received my deposit. I have tried calling ETTSI and have even left a voicemail message asking if any additional information was need on my part in order to process the refund. To this date I have not received a response. The resolution I hope for, simply, is the full refund of my initial $50.00 deposit.

I am filing a complaint due to deceptive sales practices, mis***resentation, and refusal to provide a refund after multiple cancellation attempts. On March 2, 2025, I purchased two Vacation of a Lifetime travel packages from a ***resentative in ********* who promised we could travel anywhere we wanted for four consecutive days. I signed the contract based on these promises. When I later called to book, I discovered the offer was much more limited and did not match what was promised. We were misled into activating two Certificates for a total of $100.I called to cancel and request a refund on 3/12, 4/8, 4/10, and 4/14. I also missed a return call once and tried to reconnect multiple times. On 4/14, I finally spoke with a ***resentative named *******, who told me I was no longer eligible for a refund because requests had to be submitted in writing within 30 days of activationsomething I was never previously told by phone nor by voicemail message that was left for me. I was then transferred to a manager named ******, who confirmed this policy. When I explained that the brochure does not provide clear instructions on where to send such requests, she claimed the address was on a certificate included for activation, and all mail should go there. This was never made clear to me by the ***resentative I spoke with.I followed up in good faith, choosing to trust working with a customer ***resentative for guidance. I made multiple attempts and was treated poorly. ****** was condescending and eventually hung up on me.Its also worth noting that the ****** Act (15 U.S.C. 1125(a)) prohibits false advertising and deceptive practices. The promises made by the original sales *** directly contradict the actual offer and influenced my purchase decision.I request a full refund of $100 and that the company update its materials and training to ensure accurate, transparent communication.

I was initially informed that after completing a three-hour presentation, I would receive a voucher for a discounted hotel stay at any of the hotels offered by ETTSI. Upon completing the presentation, I received the voucher but was informed that I would need to activate it for a $100 fee, which I promptly paid.Following this, I was instructed to submit a written request for the dates and locations where I would like to vacation, with the understanding that pricing may vary depending on the time and location. However, when I requested available dates and pricing, I was told this was not an option and that I needed to select a specific date and location.Despite my repeated efforts to comply with their instructions, I encountered long delays in responses and often had to follow up via phone, only to receive vague or inconsistent information. I was eventually quoted a price of $1,200, far exceeding the initial range of $150 to $350 that was originally promised. Additionally, some of my requested locations were unavailable for the dates I selected. After a year of repeated requests and phone calls, with no resolution, I find myself without a vacation and out $100. Now, ETTSI is requesting that I submit a written request to receive a refund of the $100. However, my attempts to reach customer service have been unsuccessful, with phone calls being disconnected and emails bouncing back.

I apologize for the experience you had, and I will accept this complaint as your written request for a refund. In regards to the complaints, the pricing you see on the certificate are starting prices. This is printed in the terms and conditions. Furthermore, this a promotional offer and unfortunately we are only able to use blocks of rooms that our booking company provides us, which is why some of the dates you chose may have come back not available.

    Complaint: 23108727

I am rejecting this response because:

my frustration with the difficulties Ive encountered in trying to redeem the certificate I received through ETTSIs promotion. I invested a significant amount of time and money in this process, and despite my efforts, it has become nearly impossible to use the certificate.

    To recap my experience:
I attended a presentation and was told that I would receive a certificate with no obligation to purchase anything.  There were cockroaches crawling on the wall at breakfast at the hotel the presentation was made.
I paid $40 to sign up for the presentation, and I later paid an additional $100 to activate the certificate.
Since then, I have tried repeatedly to redeem the certificate, but each time I was told that the options provided were the more expensive options and that they were not available for the dates and locations I requested.

When I asked for a list of available dates and locations to choose from, I was continually told that I had to request specific options, which made the process very difficult.

Listen to your recorded call from 3/20/2025 at 4:33PM and listen to the way your representatives talk to your customers. I have been patient every time I called and yes I wasnt the nicest on the call, I was provoked by your condescending associate and it seems to be the same girl over and over.

Ive now spent a significant amount of time, including several hours while on vacation, trying to resolve this issue, but it has been clear that the certificate is essentially unusable due to the unreasonable limitations placed on it.
Because of these circumstances, I am requesting a full refund for the $100 I paid to activate the certificate and an additional amount for the time I wasted being promised something that was not given. Please note that I do not wish to receive a refund to the credit card I originally used, as that card has since been compromised and I have a new card number. I kindly request that the refund be issued via check and sent to my mailing address at *************************************
This situation has caused unnecessary stress and wasted my time, and I expect a resolution promptly. I would appreciate a timely response confirming that my request will be processed.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    Sincerely,

All of these complaints you have need to be directed to the initial company that gave you this certificate. We do not run tours, nor do we serve a breakfast. ETTSI is a travel agency who fulfills the travel on the certificate. The $100 that you had paid to us for the activation fee will be returned. Please direct these additional complaints to the correct company.

I am rejecting this response because:

The only aspects that do not apply to your company are the tour and breakfast. However, this does not negate the fact that ETTSI has repeatedly wasted my time over the past year. Despite numerous attempts to inquire about booking my vacation and using the certificate, I was given vague and inconsistent information regarding what it covered and when it could be redeemed. Additionally, I encountered unprofessional behavior from ETTSI, including a particularly disturbing instance where a representative used inappropriate and offensive language, referring to me in an insulting manner. Given these experiences, I find the conduct of your company to be unacceptable, and I am requesting a full reimbursement and for you to take full accountability.

I am writing to file a complaint against this company regarding their unprofessional and misleading business practices. I have requested a refund to be returned to my original payment method, which is my debit card. However, the company insists on issuing a check payment, which I do not trust due to their questionable business integrity. The company offers the option to receive a refund within 30 days without any penalty or obligations. Despite this, they have been dragging their feet on dispersing my funds back to me in a check in 60 Days. I prefer the money to be reversed and credited back to my debit card as soon as possible.I believe this company needs to be investigated for their lack of integrity and professionalism. I appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.

I couldnt get to go on a vacation with my dates I picked and they promised me a refund on the $50 that I paid and I never got my $50 refund even after the 60 days they said it would take to process it! This company is a scam just to get your money with nothing in deliverance. Theyre not even accreditation with the BBB, so that should tell you something! They should be put out of business for misleading the community! I WILL be taking legal action against them for being frauds!

I am rejecting this response because:  Ill believe it when I see the check.  The company has lied to me already about sending a check that was never sent.  When I get the check and it better NOT arrive in 60 days like they previously said, Ill close the case against them.

    Sincerely,
