I purchased the 100,000-mile Fidelity Platinum Warranty. On June 2, 2022, my motor needed to be replaced with ******* miles left on the warranty. I had my 2013 ***** Sonic towed to a dealership for the motor replacement. Fidelity told me that they would give me a "cash out" for the amount that a new motor would cost. Fidelity denied that they said that. They authorized the dealer to order a new motor 4 months ago. The dealer or Fidelity did not search for a motor and just sat on the order. It took 4 months (September 19, 2022) for them to say that 29 motors were coming in from ******* on a Ship and we were 30 on the list. All this time I had to pay for transportation and was told the motor was coming sometime in September, which never happened. I called Fidelity, September 23rd, and they said that if I could find a remanufactured motor, they would pay for it. I found 4 motors available the last week in September. The dealership or Fidelity made no effort to get my motor these last 4 months. Fidelity paid me "0" dollars. It cost me over $500 with towing fees, etc., to get rid of the Sonic with not repairs. After paying for transportation for going to work and school, I have no car. 0 Stars. ************

Dear Mr. ***** ****, We take your concerns very seriously and apologize for any inconvenience you experienced because of the parts unavailability issue. You recently notified us that you traded-in your vehicle and were no longer interested in pursuing the claim. Thus, the claim closed, and reimbursement for the towing charges was issued to you via mail. We are here to help!

I did not say that I was no longer interested in pursuing this claim. After 4 months, they only paid me $75 for the initial tow to the dealership for repairs. After 4 months of waiting for my vehicle to be repaired and paying for other costly transportation, I had no choice but to get another vehicle so that I could keep my job and continue going to school. Now I am in a lot a debt and having to get a cosigner, in order to purchase another vehicle. Both Fidelity Warranty and the dealership, where my vehicle was being held, let time past so that I had no choice but to get another vehicle or be homeless without a job. They had no intentions of getting another motor for my vehicle from the beginning of my claim. Buyer beware.

I have had the extended warranty one year. The radiator fan went out on my ****** Rogue and the dealerships could not get the part in. It was back ordered for over a month and nothing. Driving in 105 temperatures is dangerous to a car with no fan so we went online and purchased one and had it installed. It was $678. Fidelity would not cover it because it was not done at a dealership. I was out the money because dealerships cannot get parts in and they wont go online to locate them. Fidelity should have been glad I didnt let the engine burn up. I would not purchase with them again.
