    Alexa media marketing was contracted and paid for a website that they disabled when we cancelled our month to month contract.

    Alexa Media refuses to cancel my recurring payments. I have sent them several emails asking for a cancellation confirmation, and nobody will return my emails or phone calls. I made phone calls on January 16th, January 22nd, and January 23rd. I am attaching records of my emails to them.

    On august 27th they took $695 from my account before I read and agreed to the terms of their contract. I didn't sign the contract nor did I agree to the terms of service. They had my credit card on file from a previous purchase and asked if I would be using the same card. I said I would be using the same card but didn't authorize the purchase to be processed, obviously as I had not read or agreed to terms of service at that time nor did I sign the contract they sent me by email.

    We engaged Alexa Media Marketing to develop, build, market and host two of our company websites. Over the course of the last 7 months Alexa had built one of the websites and launched it. The other has just recently been completed but not accepted. Alexa has consistently been uncommunicative and failed to respond to emails and phone calls for updates and progress. We have had to chase after them for every single meeting that has been scheduled and often times they were a no show. Every meeting we had with them consisted of us watching the tech do work that was supposed to be done prior to our meetings so we could review and correct or approve. Instead we wasted valuable time chasing them for the meeting and watching them do the work. We had to provide explicit instructions on what to do and fix on the site after they did it incorrectly. They have been late or failed to created the promised content for our sites and to date, the one website we did launch, the *** (website optimization), had been done incorrectly and even when given specific direction on how to fix it, (they are supposed to be the experts and didn't understand basic *** rules), they failed again to do it right. We had another meeting with their tech to once again explain how to write meta tags, what the keywords should be (keywords that were developed at the beginning of our contract). After several days and much prodding and chasing, they provide the spreadsheet of each site page and the tags. We reviewed and approved these and instructed them to have them installed asap as we have been loosing rankings and traffic due to their badly written tags. 4 weeks later and many calls and emails, these approved meta tags have not been placed and they have never responded to any of our communications. As of today, I reached one of their employees on their phone only to be told he was out of the office but would have someone call. Never happened. We are now looking legal actions.

    We paid a onetime fee of $199 to supposedly register our construction business under all 5 voice platforms (Alexa, ************* Cortana, *****)for lifetime of the business. We were told within 30 days, our company would show. We called after 30 days and they said give it another 12 days. After 14 days, we still arent showing up so I called back and was told it had to do with my webpage. I got a call from another company telling me I havent been registered on any of the 5 platforms yet and that they could get us registered and we would be up within 24 hours or our money back. So I then called ******* at Alexa Media Marketing and explained this and asked for my money back. He got defensive and said he did his job and then hung up. I was assured at the beginning if I wasnt satisfied I would get my money back. What an empty promise.
