2 starsPoor communication; Mutiple late/missed appointments; no consideration for customer's time. In their own words..."the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing"..."too many cooks in the kitchen".Subs are critical of the company. After back and forth they admitted their shortcomings and offered aprox $600 adjustment. No where close to the time and aggravation felt dealing with them.Review fromMelania Z

Do not use! If I could give 0 stars I would. Impact doors and windows were installed and have become permanently cloudy due to what SIW says is a defect in the glass and they will not fix! We would have to pay for a replacement.

As we had explained, the door in your home is out of warranty for a couple of reasons, including that the decorative glass featured in the door is subject to the same warranties, limitations, and exclutions that we receive from the glass supplier, and that the 10-year old door was installed in a home that has changed hands multiple times. 2 starsIn August of 2022 I placed an order with SIW for two sliders and four windows. The installation was done in December. The order was correct except for the bathroom window which was supposed to be frosted. The salesman failed to specify this on the order. I spoke to SIW in December who said the company and the salesman would contribute towards the corrected window. It still cost me an additional $400. SIW came in and installed just the bottom and told me they did not receive the top. I have made numerous calls to the customer care ***** and have left various messages. Only when I said I was contacting the BBB did they respond. Promises were made but nothing has happened. I still don't have my top bathroom frosted window. I have asked for a partial refund but I am being ignored. The installers were good but the customer care department is totally inadequate. I would not recommend SIW because of their lack of concern for the consumer.
