I am currently broken down in Plymouth,IN. I called at 3:05 and had an eta of 5:06 for a tow truck. Its 7:24 and they never dispatched a truck or called me. I called and they said I am welcome to look elsewhere. I am alone with two small children and joined AAA for reliable help when needed. Not only do they clearly have no intention of sending me a tow truck, I had to contact them.. they never called me once.

20+ years and they have automated the roadside assistance. Worthless. You call the 800# to get a text and you choose your provider. My wait time was 3 hours. I then spent an hour canceling, trying again, chose another provider who could get to me sooner. Lots of hoops to get to live person who can not help in any way. Any way!! I suspect if I called for help as a paying customer, I would be given different priority. If you need service AAA can no longer deliver. My car manufacturer will reimburse $100 for tow. Won't be renewing membership with AAA.

AAA is a COMPLETE WASTE OF YOUR MONEY! DATE OF INCIDENT - August 1, 2022 On the date referenced, I was traveling to my home in ******* while driving on the **************** an eighteen ******* semi drifted into my lane forcing me off the road which had debris causing a tire to instantly go flat while driving between the truck and the guard rail. A harrowing experience. Being an AAA long-time member and now over 70 years old with years of paying annually for the upgraded AAA services, the reality of their dismal service hit me squarely between the eyes. Yep, like many of those of us that needed the service we paid for and were promised to receive, the once great company has been run into the ground and can no longer be depended upon. My initial call to AAA for service was made at 12:28 AM after the tire blowout. I had been driving for nearly 16 hours and only 1 hour away from my home. I received a text notice from AAA suggesting a roadside service truck was on its way to assist. After making numerous calls through the night, I was updated by AAA about no provider showing up, they could not find a provider and would contact me once they secure an available tow company. Meanwhile, I was in a dangerous location with big trucks whizzing by just inches from my vehicle. **************** official Road Ranger that routinely monitors the Turnpike ultimately contacted the contractor for ***************** was contacted to tow me to the nearest service plaza. Upon the arrival of their nearest provider which arrived in about 30 minutes after they were called at around 7 AM. The service provider advised they could change the tire for a fee or tow me to the plaza at no cost. Within about 30 minutes after their arrival I was on my way home. AAA finally called me after 7 hours with the news of provider being found. Do not depend on AAA! They are notoriously known for low pay to providers of the services and consequently cant find providers.

I had a premium membership. Terrible customer care on a 95 day. After countless phone calls and excuses, we were waiting for 7 hours for a simple tow truck from AAA - going 10 miles. I was on hold trying to add my son to our policy since I was unable to wait on this lot so long to show my ID, only to be told his coverage can begin next week for an additional charge. So I had to wait away from home, beside our dead car all day with my high blood pressure. Very unprofessional with a complete disregard for the troubles I had today, and no further help to compensate from customer service.

on July 22 I had a tire blowout and called AAA, the automated phone system answered but would drop the call after a few mins leaving me stranded. I eventually tried some alternate numbers for AAA and was able to reach someone where they sent out Glenn's ****** (they did a fantastic job) .......... my strongest advice is find another roadside assistance company to rely on, this group was more then happy to sign me up and take my money but sure didn't pick up the phone when the service was needed.

We had been a AAA platinum member for 21 years when we broke down 68 miles from home. We made 4 calls to AAA over (FIVE) 5 HOURS beside the highway, and kept being told they could not find a tow for us, but were still looking...after 5 hours we called a local tow service and used it to tow our car home. After 19 HOURS AAA called and said they were still looking for a tow for us !!!!! I filed with AAA to be reimbursed for my tow that I paid cash for. AAA sent me a check quickly and stated that they would not renew our policy !!!! The break-down was highway 19 in *********, *******, a highly populated area and very busy highway... AAA ***** !!!

I have called for a roadside service assistance but still waiting after 16 HOURS. They still have not found anyone to come. After 16 hours of waiting.AAA? Definitely not AAA. Been a member for years and first time needing a tow. I wish I had not wasted the in the false sense of security thinking AAA would be there for me when I needed the help. If someone had warned me about such experience, I would have stopped being a member long time ago. Perhaps would not joined at all.
