      We've been paying for Triple A since 2020. Literally the first time we have to use it, my wife and 10-month old kid were stranded out of town, and they open a ticket and wait fifteen minutes past the time the guy was supposed to be there. They call to find out where he is, and they open a new ticket and give her an ETA of TWO MORE HOURS. No explanation for why the first guy was never dispatched. I call to talk to somebody about it, and the useless manager told me (condescendingly) that my wife cancelled the first ticket--and when I told him that she only called to find out why the guy was never dispatched for the first ticket, he said "Well, they should have called her," but got very exasperated that I wanted him to tell me why somebody other than him (the manager) did what they did. So Triple A left my wife and infant son stranded in a town away from home, and they were completely useless when we tried to get any information on why they couldn't do what we were paying good money for them to do. So we basically paid them two years' worth of fees for literally nothing.

      On August 12 of *********************************** *************** and our motorcycle would not start. We have been AAA members for many years and called AAA to tow ** back to ********. We called at 2 oclock in the afternoon and were finally picked up at 7 oclock that night. Five hours is entirely too long to wait for a tow. We couldve called a friend to get there faster. I talked to 4 to 5 different AAA associates and no one seemed able to tell ******* nearby towing company that could help **. Finally a man from ********** ******** contacted ** to tell ** he would be there by 7:00 PM. ************************************ was the name of the company and this young man was very pleasant even though he knew our situation was dire. His name was Bo and we cant thank him enough for finally getting ** home safely. Id like to cancel my AAA membership and get this years membership reimbursed.

      4 Hours?! I should not have to waste half a day to get my car towed. The owner of this business should be ashamed. ****** should be smarter and not use them as a towing company for their road side assistance team. This is really disrespectful to my time and day. I wish it never happens to anyone and that this business goes under water. What criminals!

      I had a similar problem with AAA like all the other reviews. It has been16 hrs. and still not sure my car has been towed from a very busy expressway in the ****** area. Decided after a short time to get an UBER ride instead of taking a chance that AAA would take a long time showing up and so glad I did. WOULD HIGHLY ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH AAA. MAYBE IF THEY HEAR FROM ENOUGH MEMBERS AND IF WE CANCEL OUR MEMBERSHIPS JUST MAYBE THEIR SERVICE WILL IMPROVE. Let's see if we can make a difference!!

      My car wont start and this my first time using the roadside assistance. The *** constantly kept changing. I went from 10:28am to waiting 4 hours later and he/she still hasnt arrived. I called and selected the option for If you are in an accident press Im on hold waiting for someone to answer and its been 32 minutes. Thus while Im still on hold Im able to write this review!

      Last summer my car broke down on the 167 freeway and I pulled over on exit for ************* race track. When I initially called I was told it would be a 2 hour wait for tow truck. Two hours came and went so I called for status update numerous times and kept being told someone was on the way. Five hours after my initial call a representative told me they couldn't find some to service my area...a major freeway...and I should contact my own tow truck driver and then I could submit a request for a refund of the tow truck I got for myself. I found a tow truck who could come get me within the hour from my call and they kept me updated to where the tow truck driver was. Just as that tow truck driver was headed my way the *** tow truck driver showed up. It was over 6 hours waiting for *** towing service. I contacted *** regarding this matter and they assured me that is not their standard service and they won't charge that service call again my 4 annual allowed service calls. Thanks for nothing!! I hoped this was a one time incident of bad service but NOOOOOO. This Saturday night my daughter was leaving ******* and was stopped in traffic around 11:00 PM. She was rear-ended by an uninsured motorist. A police report was filed and police called tow truck for uninsured motorist car to be towed. My daughter contacted *** to get car towed to ********...approximately 40 miles away and was told it would be a 3 hour wait and they would only tow 15 miles. I pay for the *** PLUS plan and they are SUPPOSED to tow up to 100 miles away. *** in ********** has proven that they are NOT a reliable company so time to start shopping for company who means what they say and say what they mean.

      This business needs two be sued for all the money it has tool from consumers over the years. Sat on the side of the road in my rv for over five hours after being told a wrecker was on the way. Called back and was told they couldn't get anyone to come out to tow me till maybe in the morning. In sitting in the road on a busy freeway. This was at 7pm and was told a 11:30 pm that maybe they could get someone after 7am in the morning. Please if any attorney out there would help me fill a law suit I would love to see triple a closed for good

      I paid for a premium Triple A service. Theyre supposed to cover up to 200 miles of tow, however upon contacting them for a tow they never showed up. They kept postponing and never showed up after 2 days of calling.

      Absolutely horrible. The biggest waste of money. My son was stranded for 6 hours and could not reach anyone to give him an updated ETA. We had to call a local wrecker who was there within an hour. I will be canceling my service after being a member for over **************************************************************************************** being helped. Its also very obvious we did not have an isolated incident after reading all the other terrible reviews. Wish I did not even have to give you one star.

      AAA is a threat to your life dont rely on them period!After reviewing the comments on here and also based on my recent experience with AAA not only will I be canceling my membership after 30 plus years but also thinking about suing these people. This company has gone from 5 stars to negative 5 stars.Saturday 8/6/22 @ around 6:00 pm my car dies on the side of I 75 northbound by mm **** near the golden gate exit. I call AAA to get roadside assistance/tow and after 15 minutes of navigating their voicemail system, text back link and app I finally get a human on the phone. As other reviewers have mentioned they claimed to have located me and said they would be sending a tow truck but after a couple of hours in 99 degree heat as the sun set no tow truck shows up.After several more calls to and from AAA about the tow it turns out the first person put in that I was in ******** ** for some unknown reason and they wanted to charge me for a 278 mile tow home to *****.By now things are getting ridiculous. Im getting eaten alive by mosquitos in the middle of the Everglades, no water, and no tow truck. Semis ripping by at 90 miles an hour inches away from me. I start envisioning one ramming me and killing me on the spot so I call my son to grab our car dolly and drive 125 miles to pick me up because 4 1/2 hours had now gone by and no service, just constant run around and all talk no action.Since they record all I calls I told them I was recordings all calls as well. I decided to gather evidence of this and started videoing the calls and the scene just in case I/we both wound up dead. They hung up on me when I tried to make a complaint. Refused to reimburse me for the gas and incidentals to get home alive no thanks to them.So AAA is not only a joke and a money grabbing typical greedy corporate entity now but they are a threat to the public safety.
