  so Im upgrading the sound system in my vehicle and it was recommended I get a high output alternator, I found powerbastards had the alternator for my vehicle, so I bought it, once I received it, I looked over the paper work and read about their return policy, its states the following: "all merchandise must be returned within 30 days, unused, in its original box for prompt and courteous refund, exchange or credit, Refunds on non defective units will be assessed a 20% restocking fee, no exceptions, Original shipping charges are not refundable. Alternators that have been installed are not returnable" I contacted powerbastards and asked for an RMA, because if there was an issue after installing Id be out of luck, after I reached out, I got a response asking if there was a problem and if I did return there would be a restock fee, I replied saying I didn't feel comfortable with the return policy so I just wanted to return the alternator, and I mentioned I was ok with the restock fee, the next response from powerbatards was that they only sell "brand new" alternators and that they can't re-sell it as "new unused", then reminded me of the return policy, which apparently doesn't even exist now because he simply refused to reply after I said the alternator had not been installed, used, tested , nothing, it was still new in the original box as its clearly stated in the return policy, so how are we supposed to return stuff?? this whole thing is shady, theres gotta be a reason this guy doesn't stand behind his product, and Im not taking a risk installing this thing in my vehicle with my expensive stereo equipment, I should have did my research on this company before pulling the trigger, after he refused to reply, I looked up, and found countless online automotive forums and FB posts in different car audio groups talking about their negative experience (now I know why he doesn't want this stuff back) I met all the criteria for return and he refused, Im contacting Visa now

Return information was already sent to customer. Will email it again so they can certainly feel all comfortable inside. Any chargebacks without returned product will result in the account being turned over to collections agency.

  the sarcastic and smug response from seller is pretty much exactly how the people in the forums and ** groups described, so its no surprise he lied about sending the 1st RMA, I didn't receive that until after I made this review and he had the nerve to accuse me of trying to be a "wiseguy" when all he had to do was accept the return as per his own policy, without all the dramatics. If you treated the people who put food on your table with respect, maybe you wouldn't have ANY one star reviews, but alas....here we are

  I needed an alternator for my F150 so on 12/2021 I found this website that looked great and ordered an alternator from Power Bastards. It came approximately a week later. Being an ASE master tech it took me no time to install, I also installed a new battery along with the alternator. In less than 2000 miles the battery light came on the and i immediately hooked up my scanner to see that the alternator was putting out no voltage. Contacted Mike, it took a few weeks before I received a replacement from another company. That alternator only lasted 600 miles before the battery light came back on while i was on a road trip eventually stranding me on the interstate having to be towed. I went and bought a Motorcraft alternator directly from a Ford dealer and haven't had an issue since. Power Bastards is selling an inferior product and the buyers should be aware of that and not get ripped off.

  The product looks good but I have no clue how it works because it's been a whole week later and I still haven't received my wiring kit from them. I've called several times to get an update and they just ignore my phone calls very unprofessional. When I did get someone on the phone the first time he was rude and didn't answer any questions definitely regretting my purchase

  These guys like to false advertise,sell products that they dont have and make you wait to get your moneyback while they do god knows what with it. Wouldnt recommend doing business with. Cost me 3 days and approx 2500$ to find out they sold me something they didnt have.

  Customer ordered product on 7/25 and we refunded him on 7/27 letting him know the product went in backordered status. Very sorry for the unavailability of the product. Accusations about false advertising 'making you wait to get your moneyback' are unfounded and demonstrably false. Have a super day.

  Your alternator works amazingly, installed in 15min on my 04 Hummer H2, turned on the ac, lights, and ran my stereo which consists of a combined total wattage of 5800rms. Voltage never dipped below 13.8 at idle for 5 minutes on a full stereo run. During regular idle with ac and lights on under any rpm, voltage never dropped below 14.3 Thank you for making an alternator that performs as it needs to and better.
