I hired **** Larco to remodel my pool. New finish and tile. The nightmare began when I paid him 75% of the cost upfront because he said it won't take long. We'll it did. This man does not know what he is doing. He he does not have his own crew as he stated. He is inexperience. He pushed me to add hydroblasting which turned out to be a $2200 pressure washing. His people damaged my pool deck, broke several of my pool screens and cracked my pool pump. When it was finally done he said he inspected the job. Well, there were no ball/caps put in the returns throughout the pool and The main problem is the staining in the finish. I believe has happened due to him leaving a prepped shell sitting in the elements for 2 weeks before applying the final layer. His pool start-up guy was aware and I had to pay him to put the return ball/caps in. Since **** Larco is not returning my messages. I'm supposed to have a warrenty. This man should not be in business. I do have pictures and viedo, though won't upload. Can send another way.Business Response

LARCO Pools is in full compliance with the signed agreement between Ms. ****** and LARCO Pools. Ms. ****** entered into a binding contract with LARCO Pools with the total amount of $11000.00 for a pool resurface and tile. Ms. ****** made one payment of $8500.00 and never paid the final payment. Ms. ****** breached her contract by never making her final payment even after LARCO Pools provided discounts, sent reminders and lastly, she promised payment several times in writing but never paid.
According to the signed agreement between LARCO Pools and ********** (see attached screen shot of contract) all warranties are void if final payment is not made by the homeowner, Ms. ****** did not pay for the work completed she had already received which improved her property, the project was completed, and she then threatened LARCO Pools with negative reviews and making our lives miserable, demanding that if she did not get a free deck resurface, and new screens she would not stop causing harm in any way she could. Ms. ****** did not receive eyeball jets fitting on her returns because she did not pay for them - its that simple.Initial Complaint

PLEASE READ!!If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, do not hire Larco Pools or work with **** ****. Based on our experience, he will take your money, fail to pay subcontractors, and leave you vulnerable to liens on your property or even legal action. Public records reveal that he is currently involved in multiple lawsuits for taking funds and failing to complete projects. Our project began in January 2024 when we signed a contract for a pool remodel. By April 2024, we had paid 90% of the project cost. Now, nearly a year later and days away from 2025, we have almost nothing to show for it.We even received a Notice to Owner (***) from a subcontractor who was not paid by Larco Pools for work we had already paid **** **** to cover. This put us at risk of a lien on our home.Throughout the process, Larco Pools / **** **** has proven to be manipulative, dishonest, and deceptive. He consistently misrepresented timelines and quotes, demanded additional money, and provided endless excuses for the lack of progress. He markets himself and his company as veteran-owned and Christian, but his actions show a complete lack of dignity and integrity.Despite our patience and numerous attempts to seek refunds for incomplete work, we received no resolution. Ultimately, we had no choice but to terminate the contract, resulting in a significant financial loss and emotional strain on our family. If youre considering Larco Pools or **** ****, save yourself the undue stress and financial loss. ***** this company at all costs.Business Response

Complaint: 21867258
I am rejecting this response because:This response was taken verbally by the BBB:
these are the only issues: stains around the main drain and wrong size of deck extension should be 6x50 is only 4x50. The deck can not be rebuild. We no longer want the business back to the home. Business has placed a lien on home after the bill has been paid in full on 8-14. The extra bills are unfounded. The business is sending additional $3000.00 that we do not know what this is for. We are not willing to pay for extra pool finish.
We have paid for the Change order listed on 6-4-24 invoice in November and is not willing to make any further payments.
Sincerely,

Complaint: 21867258
I am rejecting this response because:I havent seen an update on BBB website about the compliant being unanswered.
During one the communication, the business has agreed to send the pool finisher to address the stain around the main drain. I am still hoping it can get done without escalating this to State Business and law agencies. Can you help with communicating with the business and arranging to address the stain issue?
Thanks,
Hakob

I received your VM last week.
Please note, that the issue is not solved (there has been no improvements from the attempts of removing the stain with chemicals). The finishing subcontractor is trying to clarify some technical details and considering to drain the pool for resolution. I will keep you posted.
Best,
