I enrolled at Keiser University Nov 2021 while still on active duty using my GI Bill benefit taking classes in Health Care Administration in preparation for my transition to civilian life. I continued taking online classes until my retirement at which time I requested a transfer in writing from Jacksonville campus to the New Port Richey campus. The registrar at Keiser erroneously with draw me prior to the end of the semester instead of facilitating a transfer. I now find out I have a $2173.48 balance and am unable to transfer to the New Port Richey campus until this balance is paid. They charge by the semester and are not flexible when life events and military service forces changes in our schedule. Their employee made a mistake and did not give me the proper information, but they are still holding me responsible for the remaining balance. I am being forced to pay for a class I didn't take. Keiser claims they are a military friendly school, but they are not.
