Bosch Geothermal has continued to not honor their warranty, pay for reimbursements for labor warranty calls or repair a SM60 geothermal unit after being made aware of multiple system failures. Bosch has left us stranded with a broken geothermal system that is no longer usable and has failed on multiple occasions. They have promised on numerous occasions to send us parts and reimburse us for service calls all under the terms of their warranties but have not honored these terms. We have been left in the hottest parts of the summer in ***** without HVAC and had to live on an RV to seek shelter.

We are requesting the assistance of the BBB to recover the cost related to the purchase of a replacement water source heat pump (HP) that catastrophically failed under full warranty. Bosch sold us a HP in April of 2018 with a 10-year warranty. This unit was installed by Integrity3 Heating and Air Conditioning (I3). I3 ordered the unit via Ground ************** *** (Ground Source), Boschs factory representative. In April 2022 this HP had a catastrophic failure and Bosch agreed in writing to replace the unit under full warranty. After six months of waiting for the warranty replacement Bosch stated that it would be another 10 months before they could potentially deliver the replacement. Faced with an imminent winter and no way to heat our home, we purchased a replacement heat pump through I3 from a different vendor. Please see Attachment 1: Chronology of Events, and Attachment 2: Phone Log for the events that transpired between April 2022 and November 2022. Bosch and Ground Source misrepresented order status, delivery dates, and even capability to deliver at all. They were evasive and it became clear Bosch was not going to honor their warranty. We believe that Bosch should pay for this new unit including expedite fees and installation. We request they also pay for return of the damaged unit and the replacement Bosch unit that was eventually delivered. Please see Attachments 3 for the cost of this HP.We request Ground Source reimburse us for our extra expenses over the summer of 2022 to mitigate the heat. Ground Source failed to order the warranty unit in a timely fashion and misrepresented delivery dates on multiple occasions. They did not engage in the entire order and delivery process, and completely failed compared to any standard of customer service. Attachment 4: Mitigating Expenses.Through all of this, I3 has been extremely responsive and has provided excellent customer service.
