My 4 yo Bosch Geothermal Heat Pump (SM 060) fan motor died 11/24. I have been w/o heat as of today 1/8. They still have not shipped the fan and motor or made any commitment to do so. Their parts are all custom in house. The unit is still under warranty and I am having it removed and buying another manufacturer's unit. The parts department is totally unresponsive to the installer's frequent calls and emails. I have been forced to give up after 6 winter weeks without anything other than a wood stove and space heaters, and eat the $20K cost of a new one.

Bosch tronic 3000 under the sink hot water on demand system failed after one day of use. Tried to get a replacement using their website. I am the facilities maintenance tech for a large production company and this was supposed to have a 5 year warranty. This little $240.00 unit cost me some 5 + hours of my time and 3 weeks of down time because they wont answer the phone or return emails for days. Then when I did finally get a return email they continued to give me a difficult time asking me to take pictures of the machine and find hidden numbers to identify it. They where supposed to have the serial number in an open spot that is easy to read but instead hid the sticker behind parts of the unit in tiny print. As a company Bosch now joins husky, alliance, syngenta, California air tools, and a few smaller companies that we no longer purchase from having learned our lesson the hard way. Why do they have a warranty if you can never use it? They are swindlers and I suspect that they are grabbing what they can before they go out of business.
