      My name in ******************************* and I am filing this complain after the enormous loss of our personal property wile relocating from ** to *******I had engaged Formula Global Mobility/Granero Moving company to ship 40ft container from **************** to *************** on 07/31/2023.We had paid $13,700.95 packing/shipping/insurance costs on 08/01/2023. We were shipping 138 packages from the apartment in *** and ******************************** **. The delivery of our items was six weeks late. When it arrived, we had discovered that we are missing 118 packages from *** ( bedroom furniture, three walk in closets full of clothes, full kitchen, living room and dining room furniture, full collection of personal Art pieces, family silver and costly house decor, professional art equipment, office furniture and equipment, all the items from two full bathrooms) In the sum of $108.000.00. We insured our move for $ ********* for damages. Granero/Formula Global Mobility never attempted to find our missing possessions, blaming French companies in misplacing them. We never got final check off from their affiliate in ****** and they refused to compensate us for our loss. The insurance company offered us $2,300.00 settlement, saying we had undervalued our cargo. Formula Global/ Granero had never sent us final investigation report, never took responsibility and drove us into legal expenses, hoping we will pull out because it would be too expensive to go to court. They drowned us in paper work, fuzzy CCTV camera shots. It has been almost a year now. Insurance took more than six months to come up with the offer of $2,300.00 I had never been robbed before, and this experience left us gutted. And taken that I am a working artist, set me back financially due to lost art pieces and expensive equipment that I accumulated over the years for my studio. My Mom passed two years ago, all the Family air looms that were left of her now gone. Please help us hold them responsible. Thank you

      Dear ********************** you so much for the update.

      We have read the companies response and we can not agree with their statement. They indicate that they have followed all the appropriate procedures but in the end they lost 118 boxes out of 136 from our New York apartment and want to settle with a ***** dollars check. We have no proof of any investigation being conducted and we were not presented with any report as promised. We were not provided with any checklist at delivery either and their only answer is that they are not in possession of our belongings and therefore deny any responsibility.  This is clearly unacceptable.

      We contracted their services aka GRANERO Moving or BRYTOR to move our household to ******. The initial phone contact was positive and we agreed to the fees but when packing day came, it was a nightmare! They didnt have necessary materials or requested garment boxes. Called office to send a supervisor but found out people work at home from ******. They didnt protect our furniture packing them with cardboard and tape directly applied on our fine furniture like RH, *********************************** and Pottery Barn. They protected with plastic wrapping the dinning set of 6 chairs by ********* but when they arrived the plastic had fused on the wood causing damage to finish on all chairs and a broken leg. Designer clothes displayed in ********** closets were dumped at the bottom of a box. Our RH patio was not protected. The cushions were taken apart and one is missing. Frames are scrapped.The RH bookcases with glass doors are dented/scratched.All furniture was damage with tape.Additionally, they didnt finish packing the first day but started another job using our trailer After many complaints crew leader said our load was bigger and we needed to pay more. When I requested them to treat our belongings with care and respect he said that thats why I needed extra full coverage insurance. We paid the extra insurance and filled out the Valued Inventory Form including designer clothes and fur. They arrived crushed but insurance adjuster ******************* is refusing to pay.From the start we suspected serious damages but our contact kept asking for monthly fees which we paid then we had to pay for extra delivery charges in ****** on top of all charges paid.Just when the container was set to be delivered, our contact took a month vacation and was not available to help when everything arrived broken, scrapped, crushed and fused plastic.Very unprofessional people.       I am requesting compensation from the business for destroying my property. Their inexperienced and unprofessional crew caused severe damages to our expensive furniture pieces and designer clothing. We were asked to contract additional comprehensive insurance to cover their ineptitude. Now, they are saying that the fur wasnt covered but they accepted it and charged us the fees. My expensive leather items like coats, dresses, boots,were crushed beyond repair but they call it wrinkled items. Patio chairs and table frames are scrapped and will need replacement. Dining room chairs are broken or severely damaged by destroyed finish when storing our container in extreme heat causing bubble wrapping to fuse.

      We request all fees for insurance being refunded to us and all fees for storage and the overage charged for capacity overage which we dont agree with.

      Also will need replacement cost for ***** hat, ********************* lambskin jacket, ***** lambskin dress and New YSL tall boots. Approximately $5k

      They are a cheap company, with cheap labor, no packing materials and no know-how.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Their reply didnt offer anything new. I have complained from day one about Formula Global/Granero lack of accountability for sending to pack our household of fine items, a crew of inexperienced and careless people without proper materials.

      Those actions resulted in extreme stress wondering how are items were stored and would they arrive.

      unfortunately, as predicted furniture arrived damaged caused by their negligence and storing container in full sun,plastic melted on chair frames and clothes creased permanently.

      We felt obligated to contract additional full coverage insurance. All items with declared value including a mink coat and designer clothing which arrived damaged beyond repair. The Value Inventory Form was accepted and based on that we were charged a steep fee to somehow protect our assets. ******************* says that there are exclusions BUT THOSE EXCLUSIONS JUST APPEARED AFTER INITIATING CLAIM NOT WHEN INSURANCE WAS CONTRACTED.

      ******************* on their behalf is not willing to compensate us for our loss and ridicule us with comments of just wrinkled clothes. Or, we will not offer replacement value if item is functional such as a chair with broken leg, or beautiful clothes that are ruined! And, they have been playing us for over two months and keep requesting the same information over and over, but send it this time upside down or in a different format. We Want to Get the Compensation Owed to Us to replace our items that were damaged beyond repair. No more playing us. We have been mistreated enough!!

      I have files of every email, WhatsApp message, pictures of our items before their packers came to the house, videos of them being disrespectful to me, pictures of them not properly packing things, pictures of the destruction found when *********** opened boxes. The truth is on our side! Now do the right thing!

      I just want to explain that during the 90 days since our furniture and belongings arrived damaged, broken, missing and destroyed at our new home in ********, ******, we have been in touch almost daily with Granero and WK**bster reps. ** provided photos proving damages taken while the *********** was opening boxes and unpacking. They said that they had never seen anything as bad before. ** are constantly asked to provide same information over and over again as a delay tactic, then they ask for another week to carefully review all aspects of the claim with all parties involved to come back with nothing new, and even as ***************************** wrote last Friday after making me wait another week, she would like to understand what we want, after 90 days of the same. This is a game for them! The mover crew is not trained and are not given the right materials to do a good job. Then hey say that we need complete coverage insurance, which we did, but now both Granero and WK**bster are saying that there are exclusions when we have a copy of the insurance given to us that shows no exclusions. Its a game not to pay for their damages and it shows a complete lack of accountability. I have tried to get in touch with **************** Granero and finally got him on the phone. He said that he is no longer a part of Granero and that I have to chase down the new CEO in *******

      There was nothing attached! It was empty. No response from Granero but I talked to ****** Granero on the phone and he told me to contact the new CEO of Brytor in ******. Basically he washed his hands of any responsibility, even thought all the complains were made at the time of packing. No competent crew, no adequate packing materials, they caused a lot of damage to our furniture and clothing and when we complained we were asked to get a full coverage insurance! Very expensive. We are now in the process of working with WkWebster but Granero is not helping at all!!

      I am rejecting this response because:
      the business didnt know how to pack and didnt bring adequate packing materials claiming that company doesnt give them good materials.

      They destroyed my fine clothing not because they got wrinkled during transit, they got crushed because they didnt have wardrobe boxes we requested to move them to. Instead they took my gowns, fur, lambskin jackets and threw them inside boxes then put all heavy hangers and shoe boxes on top. Wrinkled is fine, Crushed beyond repair IS Not!

      Their response only has a copy of contract and copy of insurance.

      Granero never disclosed to us that Furs were excluded, but instead took the fee to insure the mink coat with value of US$10,000

      They are liable for all the damages they caused by negligence, incompetency and total disregard for their clients valuables which were entrusted to them.

      International moving was contracted and goods were packed in February. The company delayed considerably to ship the container from ****** to *** (very different from what was verbally agreed during negotiation and hiring). The container arrived in *************** port on August 13 and was delivered on company's warehouse on August 18. *********** denies to delivered goods at destination, requesting more money to be paid. I have sent emails during all the moving process that justify these extra charges are inappropriate. Even after my several requests to finish the services and have a fair agreement about extras, they keep our goods in their warehouse telling they would only deliver after the payments of abusive extra charges. About US$14,000 was paid to the company for services contracted.

      - The information given by the company is not true. I already paid all values defined on the contract as door-to-door services. Total value of the contract is $13,500.00 plus insurance. I paid a down payment of $6,952.50 plus a second payment of $7,134.00 (that is $6,750.00 for the rest of the door-to-door services total amount and $384 regarding the insurance). The total amount paid exceeds $14,000.00. Receipts are attached to this answer;

       

      - Below is shown what is defined on the contract for extras / additional charges. I attached here a copy of this contract / signed proposal. We didn't have any of these additional services performed by the company.

      "Our quote does not include the following costs:

      ? Any taxes, fines, terminal handling charges, port storage or demurrage costs charged by shipping companies, port authorities or customs officials caused by the fault of the contractor.

      ? Any fees charged by customs officials related to items prohibited or restricted from entering the country.

      ? Any charges resulting from special situations, such as strikes, port congestion, holidays, etc.

      ? Any costs for assembling new furniture packed in the original boxes, installing electronics, hydraulic connections,fixing paintings on the wall, etc.

      ? Any charges for lifting services, long transport, access restrictions by moving trucks, additional stairs,elevators, warehouse storage or any extra service required;"

       

      - They didn't offer us a settlement offer, as well as they have never presented to us their resolution or arbitration program. I can imagine the reason.

       

      - Their legal department sent us 2 messages, on September 11 and 13. We answered both e-mails immediately, and we sent after this 2 more e-mails requesting a return from them on the last 20 days, but they simply disappeared. They don't talk by phone as well.

       

      - *********** is not proceeding according to the agreement since the beginning. The contract was signed on February 3rd, they promissed to delivery goods between 45 to 60 days, and they received our goods in *** only on August, it means more than 180 days later. All proposal negotiation is recorded on WhatsApp messages.

       

      - We want to have our goods delivered, otherwise we will have no other option than to take this case to the court.

      formula global is a moving company which we hired to transport a container from ***** to ********. From the beginning we have had too many problems, the size of the container was less than what we paid for, extra charges, non-explicit contract with days and moving process, different information in the papers, harassment for us to sign letters where they want us to take care of extra money , etc.we have mails contracts to prove all the problems.

      Response to the letter they sent. First, the contract said door to door, they would pack everything in the house and unpack it when the container arrived. On the paper that came with the contract, the things that were said to be prohibited were not sent any of that for which they are saying that they are prohibited.Second, they wanted us to pay $2,890 that we had previously paid to the ***** office and that took the process longer.third they made us pay **** dollars more as payment for delay and extra charges. then after that they told us that prohibited things were sent.they were in charge of placing everything in the boxes and then they told us that there were prohibited things.

      In the charges increased I lot .  We try to email in explain that change the letter  because we don't going to pain more money .

       El ***trato era puerta a puerta para que ellos nos cobren por cosas ******* mismos emoacaron *nosotros ko emoacamos nada *******  Y quieren hacer tiempo se ******* *** los papeles y el proceso despus quieren cobrar ms ****** y no saben explicar porque* Si en el ***trato*no ah  cantidad de das donde especifique cuando tenemos para hacer todo este proceso*******  Si firmamos la carta es decir que ***firmar que vamos a pagar una cantidad de ****** que no tenemos hemos pagado ya ms de lo que pidieron  primero  nos cobraron ac ms ****** por pedo y por que necesitaban otro *********** Cosa q nunca cremos porque en el trailer que llevaron era ms ******* q el ***tainer de 21 pies y segundo empacarln todo * Luego en los ******************* el peso que **** es menor a el que ellos colocaron ac y ****n que el ***tenedor es de 20 y ac nos cobraron ms porque dijieorn que utilizaron uno de 31 pies*******

        Todo a sido una mentiras desde los papeles que nos pidieron que cada ves fueron pidiendo ************* el peso el tamao el tiempo que llegara y  ellos dijieron que se hacan cargo de todo *y  ahora nos quieren cobrar por todo lo que ellos hicieron mal *

      Mi mam a estado hospitalizada 2 veces por este problema por el estrs de no tener nada*******  Y aun esperamos ********* no resuelven nada * Uno llama a la compaa  no ***testan no devuelven llamadas no hacen citas para ir a verlos *

      Y fuimos a la compaa y  la persona que esta a cargo no sabia nada **** q las personas *** las q hablamos viven en ****** *******

      No dan ********* una persona **** una cosa la otrl **** otra cosa * Dicen que la carta la van a cambiar por telefono y no la cambian ******* No sabes que hacer ms *** esto  cada ves cobran ms ****** y ya pagamos mucho ms *********** mi mam y ki papa son personas mayores  que estn rehabilitado tratando de poder  vivir tranquilos y ellos so les causan problemas * Ya reportamos el caso a  el departamento de transporte******* Hicimos reporte de polica******* Mandamos el caso a general attorney  de ************** No sabemos que ms ****************** gracias

      Nosotros  no aceptamos los que ellos ****n * Nos an cobrado mucha plata ahora estn pidiendo 10mil dlares ms******* Y quieren que firmamos la carta donde **** q nos hacemos cargo de oagar *** cantidad y hasta puede ser ms******* Les pedimos de muchas formas que quitaran *** parte y dijieorn que no firmamos la carta pero colocamos que ko nos haciemaos cargo de los costos extras porque ya hemos pagado  mucha pkata extra *******

      I am rejecting this response because:
      We already signed the letter but we do not agree with what it says. We signed it to release the container but we are not going to pay the amount of money they say..

      We have the necessary evidence to prove that this company is a scam that they lied to us and that they did not fulfill everything that the contract said.
