      We have dealt with several HOA service companies over the years but FirstService is the absolute worst. **** ****** is our representative here in Fort Myers and does not respond to homeowner concerns or if you enter a service ticket for work to be done. A board member told homeowners that the president of our HOA gave **** ****** a list of homeowners to never respond to and First service is refusing to address our concerns. This level of incompetence goes above **** ****** to the top of the company as no one responds. **** ****** has also given violations to some homeowners while ignoring other violations for the same infraction. Easy to see why FirstService has 80% 1 star rating and 50 violations filed with the BBB. The state Attorney General needs to look into these criminals.

      Beware FirstService Residential of Florida.Run! don't walk away from this property management company and its staff. Once they get your association under contract - they just want money. Our former property management company did such a better job maintaining the community. First Service promised to be proactive - they are not - issues are left open for weeks and weeks - with no communication from the so-called property manager.There is no "service" in First Service - they are simply too big and don't care about individual communities.Just look at the other reviews as well.

      We have been trying to get our security deposit since our moveout date in May 15th 2022. We have been in contact with local property manager for ******************** who has misled us every step of the way. First, claiming that they had no record of our deposit, then stating that it was already mailed, and now stating that necessary signatures need to be obtained. 2 months have past and we are still missing our $2,600 deposit. This company truly does not care about their customers. Once they have your deposit, good luck getting it back. Complete disregard for the law and lack of communication. We have left weekly voicemails without any returned calls. NO apology from Board of directors only more excuses to delay returning our money. STEER CLEAR from this deceptive company.

      First Service Residential has teamed up with the collection companies for scams on us homeowners. I have never received any letters or emails or any forms of notice from this management companies yet the first time I contacted them I was told my account is under collection. How could a company like this charging fees without notify the owner, sending to collection without offering a payment method, ruining your credit without any notice and solutions. I have been a lawful citizen and have a credit of 800, I was not informed about the *** fee and now I have my name under collection. This is not the right thing to do. I have not received any notice/ letter/ email from any of the management, and every time I call, I will be redirected to someone who has no clue. It is frustrating to deal with this company.

FirstService does not have arrangements with collection companies and does not scam residents in the communities it manages. We are unsure what Ms. ** is referring to as her account with the association we manage within Poinciana Villages is not delinquent and is not in collection.

      Nobody is perfect, but I get the feeling from the negative postings on here that the complaints are not about FSR but rather about the elected HOA or Condo boards that hire them. The dissatisfaction with their Boards' actions gets transferred to FSR. It's like attacking the messenger for the message sent by someone else. Rather than take out their frustrations on FSR, they ought to work to improve their Boards.

      I would like to recommend and thank ***************************************, General Manager from the Margaritaville resort complex at *****************************************, Florida. He was instrumental in recommending a new video security and entrance alarm system for our resort complex. I had lost/misplaced my Iphone recently, and it was recovered by a tenant. I can't imagine ever locating my cellphone without ****** help, perseverance and the assist from the video ******************* security system, that he had installed. Also, recently a thief was caught & prosecuted after stealing a bicycle from one of our condominiums. **** is a true professional and manages our community. very well. Thanks to his efforts and staff we have a very safe community, which the owners can all be proud of today. RB
