    Avani Home Remodeling, ****** - Edgewater, Miami Condo Renovation Disaster I am writing this review to warn potential clients about my disastrous experience with Avani Home Remodeling ******. I contracted them for a condo renovation in *********, *****, and paid a substantial deposit of more than $20,000 in early June24.From the outset, Avani Home Remodeling ****** engaged in deceptive practices. He will repeatedly lie and deflect to secure the contract and obtain the deposit. After that communication was a nightmare. Promises were made and repeatedly broken.The project was promised to start in the second week of June, and to my utter dismay, no work has been performed at all. Furthermore, ****** would not answer phone calls, emails, or any other form of communication. His office/shop in *************** is often unoccupied.Worse still, all attempts to reach Avani Home Remodeling ****** for a resolution or a refund have been met with silence. This blatant disregard for the contract and my investment is unacceptable.Once the deposit was secured, they reneged on the agreed-upon terms and attempted to substantially increase the contract price. This pattern of deception and dishonesty demonstrates a complete disregard for client trust and ethical business practices.Important Note: Florida law (REGULATION OF PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS Chapter 489, CONTRACTING, *******) classifies failure to return a contractor deposit exceeding $20,000 as a second-degree felony. I am currently exploring all legal avenues to recover my funds and hold this negligent contractor accountable. pursuing the revocation of ******** license if the deposit is not fully refunded immediately.I urge anyone considering Avani Home Remodeling ****** to avoid them in all circumstances. This company has demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, integrity and respect for its clients. AVOID AVOID AVOID
