My husband ha his cataractsdone at Quigley. He kept having problems after the procedure.. They told him he needed laser treatment to correct the blurrieness. When this didn't completely correct the problem, they told him he had dry eyes & prescribed drops that didn't correct the problem. Then he was told to have tear drop plugs. He did not want to do this & declined. He was pushed to have them saying there would be no cost to us as it was completely covered by insurance. Well he finally agreed as it would be no cost. Well guess what, we did have a copayment of $131.25 each eye. We called about this charge several times & were always told they would have tobtalk to a supervisor & would call back. No one ever did until we called again today. Guess what. They said there was nothing they could do. We were coerced into the **************** won't do anything. My husband's site is still not great ********* not go to Quigley.

My wife and I have our annual eye exam at Quigley. They inform us before entering that there may be a $55 charge for a refraction exam, if needed. We are never told if they indeed did administer the exam but always charge us as we are completing our visit and scheduling the next one. Then, to make matters worse, their billing dept sends us a ridiculous billing statement claiming we owe more than our insurances (2) and the refraction charge that we did pay just before leaving. Today I received their billing statement for $191 . I will not pay them a penny more!! I wish BBB could lower their rating from C- to F-

I visited this site on November 22, 2024. I arrived late to the appointment. The Dr. did the exam and immediately told me that I need a cataract surgery and give a paper for an appointment with the surgeon. I told him that I can see things at a long distance and that my problem was dry eyes. He did not gave anything for this problem. Last week I called the office and I explained to the person that answer me the problem and asked him to call my pharmacy to ask for the type of Eye Emulsion that I need. He never called. This is a terrible eye office.

Quickly charged us and our insurance for an exam that was never performed. We explained to them that we just needed to ask the doctor question before we went ahead with the exam and they did everything they could to have us do the exam anyway it was a pre-surgical exam that we knew if the surgery had to be postponed would have to be done again closer to the surgery date, so after a lot of insistence, we were able to ask the doctor if it was best to postpone due to some health concerns his answer was absolutely, ************** exam was performed and yet they charged our insurance and sent us a bill for the co-pay. I have tried over and over , six months to speak to someone in billing and Im told there was no direct number and that my message will be relayed and someone will get back to me. Was never returned. Went into the office and even the front desk staff would not let me speak to anyone in billing and insisted I just leave another message and that we would be contacted .again we werent. At this point I have no choice but to contact my insurance and report the fraudulent claim .maybe that will get someones attention.

We were not able to access healthcare personnel after surgery although they give an emergency phone number to call. Their phone system only says I do not recognize that number. We used 3 different phones Incase the phones were at fault.

I would leave zero stars if I could. Quigley Management and customer service are terrible. I had purchased a significant amount in gift cards during a promotion with the expectation to use them over the next year. I was told they were closing the aesthetic business shortly and would not refund any of my payment towards gift cards. I was forced to spend over $1200 in products and minor services that I did not need at this time. They would only sell products that they had in stock and several of products that I requested were out of stock. I ended up purchasing products that have an expiration date earlier than when I can possibly use them. I think this illustrates very poor corporate management decisions to not support a loyal customer after they decided to stop their aesthetic services. It shows a total lack of concern for their customers and their reputation.

I have sent patient concerns to our Regional Manager for investigation and asked for an immediate investigation.

While I love my eye doctor, I'm unhappy with the practice.I went to the eye doctor today & they tried to charge me for a refraction test they didn't perform! The person that first saw me, not the doctor, even asked if I wanted it, explaining what it was. I verbally told her "no". Later, at check out, I was told I was being charged for one. I told them I wouldn't pay for a service I never received & that the doctor said my eyes haven't changed. Then they argued that my sight did change as the doc wrote a new script (which is NOT what he told me) & if I had it printed out they would indeed charge. I was told if I wanted my old scrip to see the eyeglass ************** print it out, but it would probably be expired. It's not! Prescriptions for eyes last for 7 years! I was informed I will probably still be billed for the refraction, which I refuse to pay & will report it as fraud if so! This is all since Quigley Eye Specialists took over their office, so wondering if this is a result of micro management. My eyes are good & I'm upset as now I'm thinking I'll have to find a new place for future exams. ??Caveat emptor!

Terrible response to my inquiry. Had my examination at the Lehigh Acres office. **************** told me that I should see the retina specialist because there was a problem behind my tight eye and she couldnt finish the exam till that was taken care of. Went to the retina specialist and he found nothing wrong. Called the Lehigh office and asked about getting my exam finished. Still havent heard back from them. Was told I had an abrasion on one lens that Quigley had put in last year and I might need a prescription for glasses. Apparently they want me to make a new appointment so I can be charged again. Will never go back.

I am a patient at the ******************* for dry eye. ************* is good, but I can't seem to get the office to contact Caremark to refill my prescription. Today is the second time I've contacted them (in the office) about it. When I asked to talk with the Office manager, I was cut off. A second call got me a man who answered from his home ( I heard kids in the background); he was helpful, but told me I should always contact him about refills (!!!). He said he'd contact the office to tell them to watch for the fax from Caremark asking for authorization - their second one. The first was ignored, I guess. This is the second medication from ***** that this has happened with - I never got the necessary authorization send by the Quigley office to Caremark, so I gave up. I'm changing Doctors - can't stand this kind of treatment when there are Offices which have people running them who actually do what is necessary to fulfill their Dr.'s wishes about a patient.Too bad the powers that be can't get it together.
