    I paid a 60% deposit ($20,365.57) in April 2023 for an outdoor elevator and installation. The owner took my money, but never even ordered the elevator from the manufacturer. The owner/company has failed and refused to do any work and has provided nothing but excuses for six months. Now he has refused to return my money and doesn't respond whatsoever.

    It has been over 1 year that we have been waiting on the elevator to be installed.

    The factory that builds the elevator has not been paid, even though we have paid Southern Home Elevators $24,685.00 Dollars.

    There has been been no building permit approved.

    We'll be happy to start the refund process, please send an email to [email protected] requesting the refund. We will refund you according to the terms of the
    contract and the estimate.

    No doubt there's been problems with the
    permitting process I've been through three separate GC's trying to work with
    them to get your permits pulled also countless hours on the phone and emails
    with the building department.

    Neither the contract nor the estimate speaks of
    a time frame, this is due to the many components of the elevator and third party
    companies.

    Yes the elevator is built and ready to be
    shipped it is not paid for I do not have a place to store the elevator when it
    gets it when it gets here. My warehouse is currently full.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I paid $24,685. In good faith. He want to give me back less then that.

    I'm willing to give this contractor 60 days to complete the elevator installation. Or he refund me the full amount on October 25th 2023.
