I purchased a used vehicle from KIA of Leesburg Florida for *****. I put $5,000 down and was financing $2,500 plus reasonable fees. I was charged $304.45 for license and registration. *** put a temporary tag on the vehicle, after the 30 days. I paid for the sticker. When I confronted the company. They sent me a check for $2.00. I did not cash the check. I personally signed my paperwork and the loan company sent me the contract they had on my behalf. The contract has an e-signature on it. This is a fraudulent contract, considered a breach of contract, as I would never agreed to the companies fraudulent fees. I want a refund of the funds and my loss of income for the repairs and ither costs. I have reached our to *** finance and I have not received a return call.Business Response

2/18/25 submitted form to *** to cancel my extended service warranty because I sold my car, and to receive refund for unused portion of warranty. I was told I would receive my refund within 4 weeks. It has been 8+ weeks; I have spoken to 4 people in the last 3 weeks who said they would straighten it out and call me back. They have not. On February 5th 2025 I had brought my car in for repair because the ** was not working and the car was under warranty. The associate ** was extremely rude from the beginning because I had asked if they had a loaner car or if somebody could take us home because I live a 40 mi from the facility. I had to find my own way home. It took them 4 days with no call on update of my car to let me know on the 4th day to come pick up my car that everything was good to go. I got in my car drive down the road the ** was still not working so I decided to take my car to the *** of Ocala dealership instead to have my car repaired properly. Now mind you my car still under warranty so just assume that the new dealership that I took my car to would repair my car which they stated, no problem we can fix it the same day they called me and stated that the other dealership that I had just taken my car from, damaged all the lines to my ** and that if I were to fix it now it is no longer be under warranty because it was tampered with by the other dealership. I called Kia of Leesburg and stated to them that I would like them to release my car to *** of Ocala so that they could do the repairs that they damaged on my car so that my car could be repair correctly and they stated that I had to bring my car back to them. *** of Ocala stated now that everything was damaged on my car I would have to pay money to get my car back to take back to the other dealership that damaged my car. I asked Kia of Leesburg to please just sign off on my car that *** of Ocala can fix my car so I don't have to pay any money because it's under warranty and they told me that they're not going to do that. So I can't get my car out of *** of Ocala because I can't afford to pay the money to bring it back to the dealership that damaged my car in the first place. I would just like *** of Ocala to be able to fix my car because I don't trust Kia of Leesburg to touch my car ever again.Business Response

I am offended by the response I got from Kia of Leesburg. I have never spoke to Yohan as far as bringing my car back for repair. I asked several times for supervisor and they stated that they do not have one. all of a sudden they have a supervisor that I couldn't speak to in the first place. It is insulting. I will never bring my car back to Kia of leesburg. They damaged my car and acted like it never happens. And for a supervisor to send back to the better Business bureau a one-line answer, shows you just how much they care about their customers. I will absolutely not have them work on my car no thank you.

Originally schedule an appointment for an oil change, which was completed. After the oil change my car would shake after 45mph and pulls to the right. i made 3 appointments to have it addressed, but was turned away each time because its a 6 hour wait or we dont have the capability to test your alignment today, even though i had an appointment each time. I finally got in for an alignment and was told that my tire is warped and causing an alignment issue. I was also told that an alignment was completed during the first oil change (which i was not aware of). They refused to fix the issue and told me i had to buy 4 new tires. i took my car for a second opinion, and was told that someone messed up the alignment and thats what caused the warped tire. This second opinion also informed me that a lug nut from the front left tire was never placed back on the tire after my previous appointment with ****Business Response

This company has continually sending me "junk mail" promos about trading in my car for a 100% trade-in value. They changed names a while ago. Used to be **** ***** *** and now just Kia of Leesburg. I guess **** ***** sold the dealership. Your BBB address for them is in ****************************. Not sure why that is. They did not move and still located in Leesburg @ *****************************************************************. Anyway they have gone through several General Managers since 2018 when I purchased a *** from them. That is not good when you go through that many General Managers that many times. I spoke with them today and a female in sales department said she would have the General Manager call me back. I knew that call would never come back to me. The new and improved General Manager name is ****** Good luck getting him to answer this complaint. I am sick and tired of getting their promos in the mail. The only correspondence I want from them is if a recall is being sent out. Oh year their 10 year/100,000 mile warranty is NOT bumper to bumper. Only power train. That means many things that can go wrong with the vehicle will NOT be covered in the warranty.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: They have said this response for many years now. They keep changing General Managers so how can I be sure this individual will see to this. He did not go into specifics why I am getting these mailings. Just a basic one sentence response. These people have continually lied to me over the years. I came there about six months ago for an oil change. They told me I needed new tires cuz the tread was wearing down on the old ones. I told them these NEW tires were only a few months old. The service manager came out to meet me and explained they made a mistake. The "mistake" was I caught them in a lie and he was trying to tap dance his way out of it So much for there "free courtesy inspection". Sorry if I do not believe what is coming out of Johan's mouth.

I was shopping for a PHEV car that could pull a 2000 pound trailer. I went online 7/30/2023. This dealership gave me a price of $52740 @ $287-$317 5.25% and lined me up with a test drive. I bought the car. When finishing up signing ( the dealership was due to the time with more people in line to close ) so they rushed me through to get everyone through. At that time I found out that they charged me thousands more and $491 a month at 6.25%. I WANTED OUT OF THIS DEAL THEN. I was told this is not possible in ******* as there is no cooling down period. They sent me home with no paperwork and a blank USB STICK. I returned the next day and after reading the owners manual, the car is not legal pulling a 2000 pound trailer. ( only 1630 pounds ). They told me the following week ( I was in every day ) Opt. 1 - I pay $10,000 and they would cancel deal and give my car back. I turned down. Opt. 2 - ****** auto group (dealership owner) would give me @45,000 toward a ***** cx90. another $10000 loss. I turned down. This whole deal has affected my health. I now have a car that wont pull my trailer legally with a 700 PD motor cycle.SUMMARY: I now have a car that wont pull my trailer legally. This deal was made on-line and I was sent to the dealership the next morning for a test drive, My reason for trading in my PHEV Pacific was I could not pull my Enclosed Motercycle trailer without voiding my warrenty. This PHEV sorento was advertized to pull a 2000 pound trailer.The on-line sales person called before I went to the dealership and we went over some details. I arrived at the dealership, met with *** the salesman and I went over my reasons for looking at this particular car. We test drove the car and I told *** immediately what I did the night before when I went to ******* *** of Ocala, with their price starting with a premium of 8 thousand dollars above the $52700 sticker price. We negotiated down to $55,000 and $38000 for my trade. This price was with no add ons, as I told them I was not paying above sticker and I left. I told all this to ***.At Kia of Leesburg the Internet price was with no add ons and $39000 for my trade and $52700 sticker. I emphasised this with the internet salesman and ***. I told both what I did the evening before. The only change I ok'd was a trailer hitch installed and a loss on trade value because of car fax for a minor fender ******. My mistake was I never saw the price (I assumed it was the internet deal) and when we got to the end of signing. I WANTED TO STOP THIS DEAL AND WAS NOT ALLOWED. On June 2nd 2024 I went to Kia of Leesburg in ******* to put a down payment on a 2023 ***** Colorado. The truck was given to me with the CHECK ENGINE light on and was promised it would be taken care of the next day. I left with the truck putting my trust in this business only to find out I was lied to numerous times. The truck could not be fixed the next day and I was told to take it to a certified ***** dealer for repairs. The ***** dealer told me that the Actuator thermal plug was unplugged in the truck and it looked like "someone" tried to repair it before. Now fast forward to today June 19th 2024 I still do not have the truck I put money down on and now ***** is saying I need a whole new HVAC system. I tried to change out my plates on my truck because I am a 100% disabled veteran to find out the registration they put on the truck was for an elderly couple who drives a **** I went back to speak to a manager and was told he is in a meeting and to busy to talk to me. Some sales associate tried to rectify this situation but at that point I knew it was clear how they work. There is nothing more that I want then to have them take this truck back and refund me my money so I can make a truck purchase some place else. I paid for a truck that I drove for a couple days and since then it has been in the shop.Business Response
