On 4/20/24 I financed a car from Kia of leesburg, upon arrival I had a car that I wanted to test drive in mind and the sales person informed me that the vehicles air conditioning went out and they still had to fix it, she showed me a different car she said I had got approved of instead of the vehicle with the air conditioning issue. I purchased the car and put 2.5k down and spent a total of 7 hours at the dealership with my 4 month old child. Yesterday 4/24/24 I received a call stating to stop by the dealership and I notified them I was at work later on the day I received a message from the salesperson stating that its looking like Im going to have to put more money down. On my way home I stop by the dealership and they inform me that they submitted the application to the bank with the WRONG vehicle on it than the one I actually have in my possession, they waited 4 days to tell me and the dealership stated I would have to put 4k more down (total of 6.5k) for the car I have in my possession which is 2K less expensive in total price and has 80k more miles than the car I got approved for with 2.5k down, how does that make sense? And they SOLD the car that I wanted (the one they actually put on the application) so now I have no choice but to give the car back or pay 4k for a worse car. Since I refused to pay I had to give the car back right then and they also informed I wouldnt be able to get my money back until tomorrow, now I have no vehicle no money and no way to work for something that was the dealerships mistake. I also cant get my insurance to refund me without a letter stating the mistake so I am out of that $304 as well. Because they ran both cars on my credit now I have several hard hits on my credit.

Unfortunately, the lender terms are what we have to go by. The $2,500 down payment was refunded to the customer. No purchase was made.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thank you,

I purchased a 2018 **** F-150 Raptor in late march 2024. I was told verbally and in writing several times that nothing was wrong with the truck. I live in ** and the dealer is in *******. I agreed to buy the truck and I shipped it out to **. The issues is the sunroof is non operational. This is at least a couple of thousand to fix. The dealer will not respond to me after repeated attempts. If they do not resolve this I will take them to court.

2/17 I traded in a vehicle for $9000 and purchased a vehicle from Kia of Leesburg. On 3/17 my first temporary tag expired and I called and it took them a week to send out a second tag. I called and emailed the dealership constantly to get an update on title paperwork or even tracking to provide to the state of **. Still didnt get an answer. I called the lender to explain the situation on 4/3 and found out the lender never received a title. Today 4/8 I have a few days left on my SECOND temporary tag and in ******* youre allowed 2 on the same vehicle. The dealership wants to potentially issue 3 or 4 which seems very odd. I am paying insurance and payments on a vehicle that still isnt registered to me after ************************************************************************************** and still never received a call. I called the dealership again on 4/5 and still never got a call back. I am also receiving fines in the mail for lapse of insurance on my old vehicle as the dealership never sent out my paperwork to get processed in **. I also called the ** DMV 4/4 and still did not have that vin in their system meaning they never received any paperwork. It seems like this dealership sold me a vehicle without actually having possession of the title. I want to get rid of the car I cannot do that if the vehicle still hasnt been registered to me. Either the dealership gets my information sent over or I can drive down to ******* and return the vehicle take my deposit and walk away. Below I provided email exchanges, highlighted call logs of how many times Ive called the dealership and the letters received in the mail.

This is a complaint from 4/8. We have only had access to our BBB complaints as of a few days ago. This customer complaint has been resolved and the title and registration has been successfully transferred to the customer. This was an out of state purchase and the process took longer than usual.

    Attached is the history report.

    Thank you,
