      Total Solution *************************************** Services was sent by our home warranty company to repair our dishwasher on 12/14/22. We called several times to find out when the parts would be in and he would never tell us. He contacted us on 1/3/23 and said he had the parts and would come the following day at a time we had a doctors appointment. He wouldnt schedule another time and said he would call back. We called on 1/5/23 and left a message. He didnt call back. We called 1/6/23 after I left a message and said he was returning the parts and not doing the work he was already paid for. I want my $85 back. We should be compensated for the time without our dishwasher but that is another matter.

      I've had a contract with Total for over five years now I live on the ground floor in a condo and the air conditioner builds up sludge because of its location. This happens every two months and air condition of stops working.I contacted Total on Sunday and they could not send someone until Tuesday The person they sent open air conditioner and said the reason it's not working because of sludge, which we know However, he didn't have the equipment and couldn't flush the system so I had to wait till the air conditioning specialist gets here not for another day I called the supervisor and left a voicemail. It's 2 1/2 hours now and I'm still waiting for an answer.How could you possibly send someone to fix an air conditioner when they don't know how Why am I paying all this money to Total all the time and they're totally incompetent Really you send someone to fix an air conditioner and they're not qualified to do it. They can only tell you what's wrong.

      I am sorry I did not respond to this before I was certain That I had.  The problem has been resolved.  By the time we got the original message from BBB it was towards the end of the day, customer allowed us to send the Field Supervisor to do everything correctly and to make sure the owner didnt have any further problems.

      Each year, I've renewed my appliance maintenance contract with this company (more than 10 years now). Each year, I purchase a replacement condition should any of my appliances fail and can't be fixed. I like having peace of mind and spend a little more to get it! However, when the time comes to honor that part of the contract, all I've received are unfilled promises. Initially, I was told that I would receive a replacement check in 2 weeks. Well its been almost 2 months now and still no check. However, when you question the people that are in charge of distributing the check, they sound optimistic! I've been told that the check will be delivered at the start of this week. Somehow that hasn't happened! I no longer plan on renewing my annual contract with this company. Not sure if the other maintenance companies are any different, but I will be venturing away from this one. Liars shouldn't be rewarded with contract renewals!

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Funny how each year the annual bill that I would receive always arrived without any mishaps, but when money is due me, it somehow mysteriously gets lost in the mail.  I exchanged emails with one of the staff, who'd indicated that if I no longer trust their check department that I should go to the company to claim the check.  I guess the solution that I came up with of using Zelle (far easier and convenient) to get the money to me is somehow short of the mark.  After all the payment would find its way into my account far faster than this company would like to see happen.  ************ can't bear the thought of sending payments on time so they just keep delaying and delaying, maybe even hoping you'll forget about the payment altogether.  The first person I spoke with who provided instruction on my choices before I selected the reimbursement one told me it should take about 2 weeks before I get my check.  I guess she really meant 2 months.  But the clock is still ticking, because I still haven't received my payment.

      I intend to get an attorney very soon.  If it was difficult to part with the $550, just wait until my attorney factors in his amount.  Very disappointed.  After all those years of loyalty to this company, after making payments on time for more than 10 years, this is how I get treated.

      We stand by my statement.  You will have to wait for the check to show up.  We do not Zelle money, that is not an option.  We sent a copy of the check with the date we sent it and the address we sent it to.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Three years ago, I was given the same run-around regarding a reimbursement check.  It took much longer for me to get the check than what I was first told.  Now you want me to believe that lightening has struck twice and I'm experiencing the same delay again by mere coincidence!  You don't give your customers enough credit.  I don't appreciate being spoken down to.  You want to personally give me a check and invited me to your headquarters that's fine.  Tell me what I need to do in getting this behind me asap.

      My ** broke down and I called Total Appliance in **********, **. They came in and charged me $125 to turn it off and on. That did not fix the problem. They came back and charged me $681 to fix it. They said the ** will start working in an hour. They left. The ** did not start working. The company refused to come back and fix it and refused to refund the money. They collected $125 and $681 for trying to do something and never fixed the problem.

      Here is the info I received from the ** Manager: Prior to our 1st visit, another company damaged a wire harness that communicated with the outdoor unit. Inverter was working when we left.

      Second visit, we spent 3.5 hours taking care of communication and found system low on refrigerant. Added refrigerant and Dye.Advised customer to change control boards that provide communication for the system. System is not under warrant and call technician 5 hours later with fault that related heating stages. Advised customer to do a hard reset and customer told technician hard reset worked.

      We did have a service called already scheduled, before the BBB email came through. 

       

      We will  refund the $681.50 as a good faith gesture but we will no longer come out to service the unit.   I will do a company check request and mail it out.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.
