    The company is: AMG garage doors ********************************* ************ The bill submitted said Miran on behalf of garage doors company. We contacted the company and they gave an estimate. It was high we declined. He called me back with a better price. I confirmed 2 times the price was for insulated doors. We had issues from the get go. They did not show up as scheduled, arrived 5:00pm - 9:30pm for a routine installation. they came back, left w/o telling anyone after the job was complete. The garage doors didnt close properly and were not insulated. When we called the company they said that they couldnt do anything you wanted the basic, thats what you got. We told them we specifically asked for insulated doors. She didnt care. I relooked at the invoice and it just says doors, door openers.Later we found the brand new battery packs for the openers for when the power goes out thrown in the trash and not even installed. We notified the company who said they would be out the next day to fix it. Nobody showed up. I messaged them again and they said they would be out the next day and the sales guy would be there too. Again no shows.The next day 8:40am I get a text saying to let the tech in to fix the garage doors. No communication that they were coming. The doors were fixed to close properly and the back up battery packs were installed. The doors were still not insulated. Their idea of fixing the problem was to take ****** off the total which is ridiculous. An insulated door on average is 200 more than an uninsulated door and we have 3 of them. They do not care. They fixed the doors yesterday by installing them properly but still not insulated and today they said if we dont pay the balance by end of day their legal team will contact us. I dont believe this company is on the up and up and while we are financially in a better position than most to take this hit there are many Mainers and elderly who arent. Total was 4200, we have paid 2000

    Corrupt Liars! Not accredited by BBB. Reviews are all fake. Salesman is a great liar--- "no cards with me" "E receipt" they text in front of you doesnt put a name/ address/ warranty down Entire Website is a lie! Run away and find reputable company to fix your garage door.

    I never filed a complaint on AMERICAN GARAGE DOOR AND REPAIR 

    I filed on AMG Garage door and repair and shared ****** advertisement page.

    Sincerest apologies and yes please remove complaint.

    Very unhappy with the service I received. The rubber bottom to my door is crumbling and old and I asked several times to have the rubber bottom replaced. The original technician said it could not be done because its an older wood garage door and the newer ones have tracks. He said they did not have the the older replacement parts available.I called company back and explained that I would order the correct part off of Amazon and just needed one of their techs to do the replacement work. They sent out another tech who said same thing, even though I told him that I ordered the part for the door. The **** dollars I paid to get the springs and machine replaced due to hurricane water damage should have at least offered the service of replacing the bottom runner guard regardless if I purchased a new door or not! Very unhappy with the lack of concern for the customer! So now when I receive the part, I will have to try and tear the old one off and replace it with a new one I ordered at the age of almost 60!
