      Very good system (HQ) providing excellent water for 23+ years.Technician ******* does a fantastic job every time!Highly recommended.Twenty-five years ago, we were very concerned, and alarmed, of the water quality here locally. Several neighbors were diagnosed with different illnesses, and while water was a common factor, there were other mitigating circumstances involved. Long story short, the only thing we could (somewhat) control was our water supply.Glad we did, it took a lot off our minds.

      If I could rate this experience zero stars, I would.
      Despite multiple calls and emails about a leak caused by your system under our kitchen sink,even requesting its removal. We only received temporary fixes from your technicians. The damage worsened, and after being told the issue wasn’t related to your system, we had to pay a local tech — out of pocket — who confirmed it was your system. We were never reimbursed.
      After continued leaking, we had the system removed entirely by another local tech. The damage spread, warping the wood under the sink and eventually affecting our flooring. We were told the damage was minor, but we had to replace all of the floor due to a small flood — a cost nearly equal to the system itself.
      It’s unacceptable that a product caused this much damage, and that our concerns were repeatedly dismissed. We believe it's unfair to continue paying for a system that failed and created costly property damage.

      Ms. **************** I want to apologize for UDI not meeting your expectations. We pride ourselves on providing over-the-top customer ********************** and we obviously did not do this in your situation. As one of the owners, I am also a consumer everyday just like yourself. Whether it is shopping at stores, over the internet, for large items like appliances and cars, etc. I believe this helps me to understand what great customer ********************** is, and what subpar customer ********************** is. With this perspective, I have thoroughly reviewed your situation and in my opinion, UDI has been fair and has met its obligations.I will try to keep this concise and attempt to explain how I have come to this opinion:1.UDI received a call from you yesterday, 5/27/2025 informing us you are selling your home and that you have a loan out on your UDI system that requires you to pay this off to complete the sale. You asked UDI to pay a portion of this amount you owed, because you feel that UDI was responsible for damage under your kitchen sink and has not lived up to your expectations.2.Researching your customer history, your system was installed on June 13th, 2021. You called UDI service in January 2022, and a service technician came to your home on January 29th, 2022, which is over 3-years ago. The service ticket that you signed said the service tech could not find a leak with the *** but there was a quarter of an inch of water covered in mold and sitting for months. 3.Since then, we have not heard from you until yesterday. Once again, this is over 3-years ago. As you probably already know, we call our customers every year to remind them of their annual RO filter change. Since the January 29th, 2022, service call, UDI has called you 25 times without a call back from you on all 25.I would like to help in any way we can, but I must respectfully say no to paying off a portion of your loan . If you need assistance disconnecting the system so it can be moved to your new location, please call and I will personally ensure you are taken care of.Regards,*****

      I hate everything about this system, tried cancelling it under a month after getting it and they wouldn't let me. I've had it for 6 years, just did a 2nd mortgage and they made me pay this garbage system off. Now black water flows throughout my house from this system and a plumber told me I should get rid of this whole thing even though it's finally paid off. Worst buy I've ever had and worst experience

      ******, your experience is unusual to say the least and i am sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction. We have an great product and excellent service after the sale. Just a couple questions. You mentioned you tried to cancel within the 1st month. As you know, there's a 3 day federal rescission order where you can cancel a transaction. Obviously, you can't cancel that transaction after a month when the system has been installed and we now have equipment that has been used. However, what's more unusual, is that looking at our service records, we've rarely, if ever, have been called to provide service on your equipment. We certainly can t solve problem if we are not aware of it. I would also question the credibility of a plumber who advised you to throw away a top of the line piece of equipment with a lifetime warranty without trying to arrange for service for it.Regardless, we always are ready to service our customers and make sure you receive clean, soft water. I will authorize a service call at no charge to send out a technician. Your system has a lifetime warranty, even if it had to be totally rebuilt, all you would be responsible for is shipping & handling cost. Even with a total rebuild if needed, your cost would be a fraction of the initial investment. Please call *****************************, Service manager, at ************ if you would like to set up this no charge service call. We look forward to handling the problems you have had. Sorry for your bad experience but let's solve it now. Thank you.
