Their subsidiary, Hostgator, is illegally hosting a website that is scamming seniors, stealing their information and opening businesses in their names. The site is **************. ***** ***** *** was opened by scammers in my dad's name and I have gotten the company dissolved, yet they refuse to take down the site. This site is taking money from senior citizens and lists my dad's address, putting him in serious danger. I need the site removed immediately. The FBI, FTC and Secret Service are aware of the situation. I have sent all of this documentation to Hostgator's legal and abuse emails and spoken to associates every day there since 7/4/2022. McAfee lists this site as high risk.Business Response

We have made a couple of attempts to call *** ***** at the phone number provided to us, and were unfortunately unable to reach them by phone. We did follow up with an email to *** ***** to advise that the website content at pearlwebby.com has been taken offline per their request.

This company has been collecting money from us and not providing services. Our website over the last 3mo has been down a total now of almost 8 weeks. First it was down because we was hacked we spent a lot of money with Bluehost Site lock to get it back up. Now it's down again and no one can explain why. My nonprofit organization the ******** ***** has been calling for weeks now for assistance and people have hung up on us and now representatives are lying saying we never requested for the site to be restored. No one is still explaining why the website was taken down to begin with. Our website is naacpgwinnett.org. When reaching out to the customer we were informed the domain was currently producing an old version of the customer’s website and that their new version was on Wix which was being displayed until a few days ago. After reviewing the logs we found a DNS change performed by a customer IP reverting the DNS back to the Bluehost account that contained the old, incorrect website.
Per customer request we were able to update the nameservers to Wix which once propagated produced the correct updated site as verified by the customer. The domain is now producing the correct site and no additional issues were found.Initial Complaint

I paid for one year of services from this business; however, in the past few weeks of June and July, services were stopped. I was informed they were working on a solution, but to no avail. I've asked for a refund, but they refused. They are claiming their 30-day refund policy. This policy is only good if you're getting the service you agreed to; however, I am not getting the service I agreed to.Business Response

Years back I started a company called Techet.us, this was my first attempt at setting up an online business. After some trial and error, I cancelled the hosting services from Bluehost, and started all over with a different company. Bargainbanditz.com is the next online brand I was working on. Things still haven’t been successful, I had chosen Bluehost as that web hosting service again. This is where the problems started. After cancelling services for Bargainbanditz.com, Bluehost made another attempt to initiate a transaction for 1 year of service. I cancelled it before the listed date. But, that didn’t stop them from initiating again 15 days before the expiration of service. Again I attempted to cancel service but they had already initiated the transaction, I ended up not having enough rent money when this happened because Bluehost continued to initiate payment even after cancellation several times. They issued a refund after blaming an automated system, but told me it would take 10 days to complete the refund. I told them to remove all personal information, that I would not be doing business with them ever again. I just got an email saying Bluehost is attempting to initiate a payment for web hosting Techet.us…I cancelled it years ago and they’re trying to take money from me again. I’ve asked my bank to block them and it keeps happening. Please do something to make these people stop. I can’t be the only person they’re doing this too. I’m tired of cancelling and getting charged again. Please help!Business Response

To Whom It May Concern,
We have spoken to our customer **** to assist with his accounts techet.us and bargainbanditz.com. The account for techet.us has been canceled from which a email of a $0.00 transaction was sent as a confirmation to the account cancellation. The account was set to expire, however his billing information was still on the account and the renewal notifications were enabled. I removed Ryan's billing information from the account and disabled the email notifications from Bluehost.
The bargainbanditz.com account was cancelled as well with his billing information removed, however, his account was set to manual renew with notifications enabled. I set the account to expire and disabled the email notifications from Bluehost. At this time all questions and concerns have been addressed, however, we are happy to assist **** should further assistance be needed.

This complaint is for the '************' brand of this company. We have lost ALL email service for our business and it has put conducting business at a stand still. No webmail, no outlook 365 email, and no iPhone email.
