    FPL HOME stress free a/c . I have past due balance . I agreed to pay certain amount per month . They sent me an agreement . They is taking monthly money from my account. Yesterday they sent me a bill . Now this bill says that I owe more money , then was in agreement.Very hard to talk to them .Somewhere must be justice for that .

    I was told that this service would provide a technician to come and make sure all was well with my electrical. I asked the sales person about a scenario specific to my situation and he assured me, YES it IS covered under this plan. Fast forward 4 months, I call and I explain the EXACT same scenario to the representative over the phone and GUESS WHAT?!? It's NOT covered, nor will it EVER be covered under ANY contract I open with HomeServe because now, it's considered a "pre-existing condition."Run, don't walk away from this scam. I'm canceling today, I'm 4 months in.

    They called my wife and tried to sell her everything they offer. I had surge protection from them at my old house for $10 a month. When we moved I didn't need it because we are renting. They sold her a $5 a month surge protector that doesn't connect to the meter that I paid for 4 years, I only found out about it because they are raising the price! When I listened to the recording for proof, the guy was like a snake oil salesman and she agreed just to get rid of him! This is a SCAM, and is not right!DO NOT USE FPL HOME!!!

    "Surge shield" is not worth the paper it is printed on, your digital bill. They didn't cover anything when a surge happened. Well, they sort of did one device after they tried not to cover it by saying they only cover inside the house portions of air conditioners so we are out of luck. But...it was the inside portion that was damaged. So with this new information it became you need to hire someone to prove that it was a result of a surge, which is an impossible task unless you find an electrical engineer who will test components for failure. No matter how good of an AC technician you find they will only find a dead board and just replace it without a forensic examination, and I don't expect them to. Network switch, not covered, Gate controller and transformer, not covered. What apparently is covered is anybody's guess. Getting an electrician to install a whole house surge protector.

    Avoid buying a Surge Shield, Surge Protection plan with FPL, they are useless.On June 17 the neighborhood of my home was hit by lightning and the resulting power surge burned a lot of appliances including dishwasher. BTW the FPL Surge Protection was useless.I got 2 technical expertise reports: from ***** and from Security Force of America officially confirming the damaged devices listed above. However, my claim with FPL Surge Protection was rejected because the technicians wrote for all devices " "damaged by power surge" except for the dishwasher where technician wrote "damaged by lightning"Well, FPL Surge Protection told me that this wording is not good for them, they need all written as "damaged by power surge"I tried to explain that the lightning created a power surge so it is a big nonsense what they asked, especially since all other items were described as damaged by power surge. There was no way to convince them, they rejected my claim.All in all with FPL and with ***** was a dialogue of deaf and mutes, they talk like robots, they do not read what you email them, they do not care, they play being stupid, and they do not want to listen to the truth and explanation.Unfortunately FPL is the only provider here, but please, avoid using their protection plans. They will pay you zero, no matter.

    FPL HOME is an amazing program I was able to receive a 5 star service from my local AC contractor and the same day I was set up in a 10 year service program that includes the tune *** and filter change. I am happy with the service they have provided

    No stars. I cancelled today....wish I would have known sooner...paid $49 a month for a year...When I purchased the warranty the sales person listed water heater...dish washer air conditioner...etc and that is not really true. My water heater is dripping and it is not covered. Parts associated with the water heater are covered but not the tank. The sales pitch is very misleading. If only parts associated with the water heater are covered...say that. Do not say water heater is covered. People listening to the marketing pitch are going to be in for an unpleasant surprise when they try to use the warranty. in my opinion marketing and policy specifics are not the same. watch out.....
