    Signed a contract on 1/11/2023 with American Gutters, **** to erect a steal 18 x 20 carport with a residual garage door.We have been working with ***************************** of American Gutters for this project and he told us it would take ***** weeks to complete. ****************** subcontracted with ***************** to erect the carport. Due to the issue with the permit it was not issued until 5/17/23; therefore, we could not start the ground work. The ground work was finished on 11/15/23; however, the carport was not erected until 1/6/24 but the garage door was not installed at that time as they had not installed frame work for the garage door.. On 2/14/23, a crew from ***************** come to install the 10 x 8 framework for the residual garage door. When they arrived, they asked us, "what do you want". I told them that they were given a diagram for what was need for the residual garage door and if they had questions to contact ****************** at American Gutters, **** to see what he needed. They left and I have not heard from them since. Also on 2/14/24, spoke with **** at ***************** and she told me that we needed to pay extra fee for the frame work (our contract lists a fee was paid for the 10 x 8 framework for the residual door) and also spoke with ******* of American Gutters and he told us that he would see what he could do. I called ****************** on 2/16/23 for follow-up left a message and I spoke with ****************** on 2/27/24 to see if he was resolving the issued. He said that he was looking for a new installer for the garage door. Called him again on 3/6/24 and ****************** had no other information to resolve this issue. Again said that he may have to hire another company to install the garage door.

    We are in daily communication with ***************** concerning this matter.  We still have not received any answers from ***************** as to whether ***************** has completed their scope of the work so that the next step by the door company can be completed. We will continue to contact them DAILY and will update on this website any information we can obtain to get this issue resolved.

    I am rejecting this response because: as of April 7, 2025, the garage is still not completed  I have had no communication from American Gutters as when the garage will be finished

    The door was installed and job completed today, April 9, 2024.
