1 starOut of state Buyer beware of Rountree Moore Chevrolet I feel compelled to help future costumers/victims of this dealership.I live in ******** and found the truck in *******. After talking to the salesman ***** Morgan, agreeing on a price, sending the deposit via Credit Card, putting a deposit on transportation to MI as the dealership said they dont have a company they use. The next day sending the full payment via cashiers check overnight ****. Thinking I was going to get a call the next day stating the vehicle is on its way-was I wrong. The salesman called & said the deal is OFF because Corporate advised them NO SALES North of ******* because they have had problems selling out of state. They advertise ALL OVER the country on the internet and thats where I found the vehicle. I asked to talk to the General Manager **** ****** who wasnt in and had to call the next morning. Repeating the same conversation to **** my comment was but I have already purchased the truck and sent the money its already a done deal! - his response well we are not going to sell it to you and we will return your money adding that the vehicle was picked up by 9AM already resold when he came in the morning! How can something be sold again when it already had a sold sign on it. Needless to say the salesman lost his sale, we did not get that vehicle or the $32 for overnighting our check in full & couldnt get our deposit of $250 back from the transport company as we were advised the driver was already on his way to pick up the truck?? And then we had to wait another 2 days for them to overnight our payment back to us! No one should have to put up with a dealership whose practices are underhanded!! If you dont sell to *************** your 1st phone call should tell the buyer that. In less than a week we found and purchased a truck only to be told we live in the wrong State! I went to Rountree Moore to purchase a vehicle that was being advertised for $20,846 and traded in my car and they gave me ***** along with me putting 500 down somehow I walked out of the dealership financing $28,322.50 with a interest rate of *****%!!!! Which I was not told during the process of signing my my contract my payments was suppose to be 690 and i walk out with a 735 dollar payment, I wanted my car back and I wanted to give them they car back and they refused the vehicle stated that they already got paid and that i needed to call the bank. I call the bank and the bank stated that they do not have no account associated with the contract yet. I asked for the contract they refused to give me the breakdown of how im came out pay $28,000 and when i asked for my car back they now saying its going to be $9500 for me to get my vehicle these people took advantage of me because I was young and still failed to give me a break down of where all these charges was added in. ******** ( Finance Manager) said he couldn't provide a copy of the break down he seen on his side because its for him and the finance company only Please don't buy here!!! They will scam you and i will really like to talk to the owner of this place. I really wish i would of never came here.

i would like to dispute the whole customer comment. i have given them 3 more copies of everything in the deal where everything was correct, and the problem was the interest rate that the bank gave her. i even explained to her that she could get it refinanced with a different bank after making some payments to show some good pay history.Review fromJ G

Recently Me and my Mom went to Rountree Moore Chevrolet and looked at an 2020 Charger with ****** miles on it and the car they want $24,000.00 and almost $700.00 a month. So I called and stated that I no longer want the vehicle. They refuse to let me opt out the car. The car is still on there lot with no insurance. It's a shame they will force you into a car to meet there quotas.Rountree Moore Chevrolet

I experienced this group in ************ at a ******* dealership. If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with sales was good. Up until the manager (who works for Rountree automotive group and not the ******* dealership themselves) came over and basically spoke to me like I was a woman who had no clue what she was talking about. He tried telling me that I had no legal rights to my car because it was a lease and I was not allowed to trade it in for a new vehicle or use the positive equity. I called and spoke with a rep at *** and reported this dealership, as she said that is inaccurate information and she would escalate that to appropriate chain of command (doesnt sound like ******* Capital is pleased to know one of their authorized dealers is giving out wrong info). The *** rep said that I could certainly trade it in and use my equity for a down payment into a new car. Went to a different ******* dealership next day and got into a brand new ******* using the equity in my LEASED *******. Manager will respond saying I had a bad attitude and was rude, and using profanity. And yes, I did. But it came as a defense after he basically treated me like a WOMAN trying to gaslight me and take advantage. Hes the unprofessional one who responds to these reviews instead of working with a customer, especially when she tells you her bad experiences everywhere else.Rountree Moore Chevrolet

One star only because one had to be selected. I waited 3 years for my Chevrolet Corvette Z06 to come in. It was custom ordered for me. The agreement was that I could buy it at MSRP at $136k, which includes an Advantage package that they insisted I get to help them make money in for the vehicle. When I got to the table they told me no and that they were selling the vehicle for $30k over MSRP. When I tried to get the paperwork for my own financing, I was told no, that I had to finance it through GM. Then when I offered to pay cash, I was told no againthat i would have to pay the added $30k. MY CAR WAS SNATCHED FROM UNDER ME. When I then agreed to buy the car through their means of financing, i was told no deal!! They then posted the vehicle for sale within 48 hours for 3 different prices..$205,000, $180,000 and then $165,000 on June 30th. This was unethical and unprofessional and with me being a long time customer, I will never buy a vehicle from ********* Chevrolet again!!!Rountree Moore Chevrolet

1 starI bought a new car in November and still havent received the tag. It is almost March. I have called countless times and have been told they would send a temp tag. Never came. Not even once. Talked to sales manager, finance person, multiple salesmen, until they stopped taking my calls. Left messages more times than I can count. NEVER returned one call. I finally got the number for the company they outsource their tag &titles to. They told me they did not even receive my paperwork until end of January and parts were missing they had to get from the dealer. When they finally sent everything to the tag office so I could pick up my tag, it was sent back to the accounting office. I called them back this morning and they promised to overnight it back to me. At this point Im not expecting to actually receive it, but at least the accounting company will answer their phone and talk to me. I will NEVER do business with rountree moore Chevrolet and Im telling everyone not to do business with them. They are incompetent and/or dishonest and I think someone should investigate them.
