      Had a new $9,655 A/C unit installed in my home and has leaked water since the install and I have been told it would be fixed. They came out 7/7/22 and taped the doors shut and said that would fix the issue. The unit still leaked. They came out 7/18/22 to do another repair and the and the leak continued. I spoke with two managers and they said they will be out to repair it. The manager Scott came out with new doors which did not fit. He looked at the mold growing and said he will have an installer manager call and schedule a time for the mold to be cut out and new material put in. He (Scott) will bring the new doors out when they come in. To date I have not heard anything from Del-air and I have a unit with tape all over it, leaking water at the base and growing mold at the top of the unit. I do not feel comfortable with the install and feel the short Manufacture warranty is going to be voided due to the poor taping/install. I would like my A/C installed correctly and the extended warranty on the unit at no charge. If I knew the customer rating was 2 stars I would have went to another company. They are living up to there rating.

      Del-Air has been in contact with our customer to address all work not completed before. We have since addressed all issues and one of our supervisors did a full inspection on all the work corrected and completed. We have made a follow up with Mr. **** and he is very happy we were able to take care of the work and follow up. Thank you, Mr. ****, for allowing us to make everything right.

      I live in a new home with an air conditioning unit that was installed in 2020. The problem I developed with my system is it would come on outside but the air handler didn't. I called the 19th of October and was told no one was available till the 26th. After a 99 dollar inspection fee was told I needed a new blower but since I was under warranty the blower was free but installation was 800 and change. I admit ..I was stupid and signed. After less then an hour I was given a bill for 910 dollars. Curious i Googled it which I should done before...blowers should last 20 years and installation should be 200-400 dollars. So if the blower was actually the problem ... the charges were ridiculous. Lawyers dont make that an hour here. Just want to send a warning to others. So if you want to see the definition of price gouging.. than look it up in the dictionary....it says....DelAir.

      The repair that was completed on the customer's home was quoted based on flat rate pricing for an in-warranty blower motor replacement. This quote was accepted and approved by the customer, so we completed the work. While the cost of installing the part may seem high to the average consumer, there are other costs not covered by the limited warranty from the manufacturer on the part. These costs are not isolated to the time it takes a skilled technician to perform the task of installation. The costs for all the people involved in the ordering, dispatching, warehousing as well as the expenses such as the truck, and warranty processing costs are part of this too. We hope this helps to understand the cost associated with the labor and materials.

      Del Air came out to fix a small plumbing leak under my 86 year old mother's kitchen sink. Less than two hours to do the job and they charged her $1,007 after telling her it would be $600. They replaced her faucet with one valued at $130. So apparently labor was over $850 for two hours? That's ridiculous. She has held a service contract on her AC with them since the 80's. They took advantage of an elderly woman by price gouging. Please don't ever use them. It's despicable.

      Del-Air came in June for maintenance on our AC. AC quit working last night (9/7/22). We called for them to come out for 9/8/22 sometime. They REFUSED to come until Sunday at best. We explained that we had a maintenance plan with them which we've paid, they were here in June and now it's not working. We have an 8 month old and 3 year old. We need service on 9/8/22, not 4 days later. We can't have our grandchildren without AC for four days. They didn't care, didn't want to hear any of what we were saying. Even though we paid for a maintenance plan and they were just here 3 months prior, they REFUSED to come out until Sunday. Because of their poor work on our AC in June our grandchildren will have to suffer in a hot house for 4 days.

      We called Florida AC and they came out within a few hours to fix our problem. We paid you $300 in June for a yearly maintenance plan, your guy was here in June and we had the same issue yesterday (9/7/22) that we had in June. We were told multiple times that the earliest you could come out was Sunday. That is completely unacceptable customer service, especially when we paid $300 in June for a year to have maintenance like we needed today to have to wait 4 days for service with an 8 month old and 4 year old in our house. We should get a refund of $300 since you did not give us the customer service we paid for in advance. We could not wait 4 days for you to show up with the small children in our house and as hot as it is outside.

      Replaced two 3 ton units. Del Air has done the maintenance on our previous units that lasted 19+ years. Tony ******* handled the sale and I found him to be honest, educational and prompt in getting our replacement done. A team of 4 techs did the job and we are content with both the sale and installation process.

      I was visited by one sales man regarding replacing my 5 ton very old AC. I was give a set of 2 prices to select. I called the sales man informing him of my selection, asking if the company needs any funds. He stated none needed until job is complete. I called him & left a message to call me back. HE NEVER DID. I sent him an e-mail. THERE WAS NEVER REPLY. I called for him at Del Air office where they told me he we he will reply. HE NEVER DID. I called for the Sales manager at 11:55 am to discuss this matter. I was told he will call me back because he was busy. At 2:00pm NO CALL BACK, EVER. I must agree both, the Sales Man and its Manager ARE TOO BUSY. This is very bad for the reputation of this company which heavily advertise on TV. and cannot provide the service I am presently looking at other AC providers for goods and service.
